How to install the Vevor recessed drain kit?

Start by cutting a 5-inch hole in the subfloor. Remove the surface layer, place the components and mark the points. Drill, then place the nylon bolt caps and tighten the screws. Fill the surface, remove the center tab and place the protective film to prevent clogging.

What tools are needed for installation?

You will need a hole saw or jigsaw to cut the hole, a drill, a screwdriver or wrench to tighten the screws, and possibly a bubble level for alignment.

Is the kit compatible with all types of bathtubs?

The kit is designed for standard bathtub drains. Check your drain diameter (1½" or 2") and follow specific instructions based on bathtub type. Do not cut the brass fitting.

Can I cut the supplied brass fitting?

No, it is imperative not to cut the brass fitting. This could cause leaks. If needed, adjust the height by moving the kit rather than cutting.

How to avoid leaks after installation?

Make sure all gaskets are in place and nuts are tightened properly. Use the supplied plumbing tape on threads for optimal sealing. Test with water before finalizing.

What to do if the cut hole is too big?

If the hole is too big, use a reducing ring or fill the gap with appropriate silicone sealant. Ensure the kit remains well centered and stable.

Does the kit include a detailed installation guide?

Yes, the kit comes with an illustrated user manual. You can also download the PDF manual from Vevor's website (www.vevor.com/support) for more details.

Installation kit

Connect to drainpipes:

Step 1:Cut 5 inch hole into sub	Step 2:Remove the surface layer appropriately.Place components and trace points.
Step 3:Drill holes.	Step 4:Put the Nylon Bolt Cap hole.
Step 5:Tighten the screws.	Step 6:Fill the surface and remo center tab.
Step 7:Put protective film cover
to avoid clogging from falling impurities.

Don't cut the supplied brass tailpieceDoing so may cause a leak.

Final step:

Remove the protective film cover. Carefully lower the tub with installed brass tailpiece into the red collar drainassembly Ensure tailpiece is fully en-gaged with seal.
