Frequently Asked Questions - EC3016C Vevor

How to fill the water tank of the Vevor EC3016C iron?
Open the water inlet cover, tilt the iron and pour water using the provided measuring cup. Do not exceed the maximum water level mark. Preferably use distilled or purified water.
How to use the burst steam function?
Press the burst steam button (No.3) to produce a powerful steam jet. It is recommended to use it at maximum temperature for best results.
What to do if the indicator light stays on continuously?
The light comes on during preheating and turns off once the temperature is reached. If it stays on continuously, it indicates that the iron is heating. Wait for it to turn off before ironing. If the problem persists, contact technical support.
How to clean the soleplate after use?
Unplug the iron and let it cool completely. Wipe the soleplate with a non-abrasive damp cloth. Never use a scouring pad or chemicals like vinegar.
How to activate auto-off?
Auto-off is enabled by default. The iron turns off after 30 seconds in horizontal position or 8 minutes in vertical position. To wake it up, move the iron.
Can I use tap water?
Yes, but the use of distilled water or purified water is recommended to reduce scale and prolong the life of the iron. Never use hot water, perfume, or chemicals.
How to descale the iron with the Clean function?
Ensure the water tank contains enough water. Place a container under the soleplate, turn the steam knob to the Clean position and hold it down. Steam and impurities will be expelled.
Why does water drip from the soleplate?
This can happen if the temperature is too low. The anti-drip function prevents water dripping below 115 °C. Wait for the iron to heat sufficiently or increase the temperature setting.
How to store the iron properly?
After use, turn off and unplug the iron. Empty any remaining water, let it cool completely, then store it horizontally on a stable surface, preferably with a protective mat under the soleplate.
What to do in case of malfunction?
Refer to the TROUBLESHOOTING section of the manual. If the problem persists, contact technical support at www.vevor.com/support. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
