About this appliance
The 01.182476.01.001 Princess is an air fryer for grilling, baking, and roasting food using hot air without the use of oil.
Intended use
This appliance is intended for indoor use only.
This appliance is intended exclusively for domestic, non-commercial use.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
This appliance shall not be used by children aged less than 8 years. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless older than 8 and supervised.
The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.
Any use of the appliance other than described in this user manual is regarded as misuse and may cause injury or damage to the appliance and void the warranty.

Safety precautions
WARNING
Safety hazard due to unintended use:
- Only use the appliance as described in this user manual.
- By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage.
- Never use the appliance if there are visible signs of damage or defects. Always replace a damaged or defective appliance immediately.
- Never make any adjustments to the appliance. Adjustments may affect safety, warranty and proper operation.
Electric shock hazard due to short-circuiting:
- Never use the appliance if there are visible signs of damage or defects to the appliance or power cable. Always replace a damaged or defective appliance or power cable immediately or contact customer service.
• Always avoid spillage on the power cable. - To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in the water or any other liquid.
- Never open the appliance. The appliance may only be opened for maintenance by an authorised technician.
- Never replace the power cable yourself. Always let the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person replace the power cable.
- Never lift the appliance by the power cable. Lifting the appliance by the power cable may damage the power cable. Only lift the appliance by holding the base.
• Always unplug the power cable when the appliance is not in use or unattended, and before cleaning.

Fire hazard due to overheating:
- Never leave the appliance unattended when in use. Only use the appliance under supervision. Switch off the appliance and remove the power cable from the power outlet when you leave the room.
- Never use the appliance with a programmer, timer, separate remote control system or any other device that switches the appliance on automatically.
- Never place the appliance directly underneath a power outlet. The appliance may become hot during use. Always keep the back of the appliance clear of any objects.
- In order to prevent disruptions of the airflow do not put anything on top of the appliance and make sure there is always 10 centimeter of free space around the appliance.
- Never place the appliance near a heat source.
- Never fill the basket with oil.
Fire hazard due to short-circuiting:
- Never drop the appliance and avoid bumping. Excessive vibrations can lead to loosened connections and can influence proper functioning of the appliance. Stop using the appliance if the appliance has been dropped.
- Never use the appliance with an extension cable.
- Never connect any other appliance with high power consumption to the same group.
Fire hazard due to burnt food:
- Always clean all parts that come into contact with food after use.
- Never exceed the maximum level indicated on the inside of the basket.
Burning hazard due to hot liquids:
- Never use the appliance on recreational vehicles or boats. Hot liquid may spill out of the appliance.
- Always ensure the basket is fully closed. Hot liquid may splatter out of the appliance.
- Never move the appliance during use. Hot liquid may spill out of the appliance.
Choking hazard due to plastic packaging:
- Never let children play with the packaging material. Always keep the packaging material out of the reach of children.
CAUTION
Burning hazard due to heat:
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Never touch the hot surfaces during or shortly after use. The hot surfaces may be subject to residual heat. Let the appliance cool down completely before handling the appliance.
Tripping hazard due to loose cables:
- Never leave the power cable hanging out in a way that someone might trip over it or accidentally pull it.
NOTICE
Risk of damaging the appliance:
• The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
- Never use aggressive chemical cleaning agents that can damage the appliance when cleaning the appliance.
- Only use the appliance with the provided accessories or accessories recommended by Princess.
- Never fill the appliance above the MAX indicator.
- Never place the appliance near the edge of a countertop during use. Vibrations may occur during use which may cause the appliance to move. Always place the appliance on a stable, flat, heat, and moisture resistant surface.
- Never use metal utensils to remove food from the pan. Metal utensils may damage the non-stick coating.
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device
- Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
- When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odour will occur. This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This fragrance is only temporary and will disappear soon.
- Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal and level surface, do not place the appliance on non-heat-resistant surfaces.
- Place the device in a well ventilated space.
- Connect the power cable to the socket. Note: Make sure the indicated voltage on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device.
USE
Using the appliance
- Put the main plug in an earthed wall socket.
• Pull the basket A 3 out of the airfryer - Put the frying plate in the basket.
Note: Never use the appliance without frying plate.
- Put the ingredients into the basket A 3
- Do not use oil or any other liquids in the air fryer. (Maximum 12 teaspoon of oil may be added when cooking fries or steak).
- Slide the basket A ③ into the airfryer
- Press the on/off switch. The display B 22 will become active.
- Select a program or manually adjust the desired temperature and time of cooking.
- The appliance features an automatic shake reminder when ingredients need shaking during the cooking process. This feature ensures optimal results by prompting timely intervention, ensuring thorough mixing and even cooking.
- When you hear the timer beep, the set preparation time has elapsed. The device will shut off after 20 seconds. Pull the basket A3 out of the appliance and place it on a heat-resistant surface.
- Check if the ingredients are ready. If the ingredients are not ready yet, simply slide the basket back into the appliance and set the timer to a few extra minutes.
• To turn off the device, press the on/off button until the display turns off
MANUAL SETTING:
- Press the time + B ^23 and time - B ^24 icon to set the desired cooking time. The time will increase or decrease in 1-minute increments.
- Press the temperature + B 16 or temperature - B17 icon to program to the desired cooking temperature. The temperature will increase or decrease in 5°C increments.
- The temperature can be set between 80^ and 200^ .
- The timer can be set between 1 and 60 minutes.
Note: It is not necessary to preheat the device.

- After the cooking time has elapsed, the appliance will beep 3 times before it switches off automatically. The fan will continue running for about 30 seconds to cool down the unit.
SHAKE FUNCTION
- When a program is halfway, the appliance will show the shake reminder icon.
- The Shake reminder function is only enabled if the set cooking time is equal to or more than 6 minutes.
- The shake reminder is indicated by the sound of 1 beep. The display will show a flashing "SHAKE".
- Pull the basket A 3 out of the airfryer
- Shake the basket a few times. Be careful to not shake too hard so that the hot ingredients will not fall out.
- Slide the basket A ③ into the airfryer
- For the Fries program B 8, the device will suggest to shake the fries every 5 minutes.
- The shake reminder will continue to flash if not completed, but will continue the program. After completion, the shake reminder will also turn off.
START/PAUSE BUTTON
- Press the start/pause button B 22 to pause the program.
- Pressing the start/pause button again will start the cooking process based on the shown settings on the display.
- When the basket is removed from the device, the device will automatically pause its program.
- When entering the pause mode, the heating tube will immediately stop working. The fan will work for 20 seconds before stopping. The digital screen displays the remaining time and the current temperature. It will flash synchronously with the currently working menu button. The two middle points of the display will not flash.
- When paused, press and hold the pause/start button to exit the pause state and enter the standby state.
- If there is no operation within 5 minutes in the pause state, the device will enter standby mode.
Note: The power button the "+" and "-" keys are always on and can be operated normally. All other buttons are off and inoperable.
PREHEAT FUNCTION
- Press the preheat button B 19. The button will start flashing, indicating that the preheat function is turned on.
- Press the power key to start the preheating process. The button light will stay on and the display will show "PrE"
- The display B 20 shows Add when preheating is complete.
Note: If the preheating function is turned on in the selected menu, the default heating time will be reduced by 2 minutes.
Note: The preheating function can be turned off or on before starting work. After starting, the operation will be invalid and the heating time will be updated accordingly.
KEEP WARM FUNCTION
- Press the keep warm button B 21. The keep warm button will start flashing, indicating that the function is selected.
- Press the pause/start button B 18 to start the function.
• The program lasts 15 minutes on 80°C.
- The display will show the remaining time and temperature. If the countdown time is less than 1 minute, it will be displayed in seconds and the "MIN" on the display will disappear.
Tips
- Add some oil to fresh potatoes for a crispy result. Fry your ingredients in the air fryer within a few minutes after you've added the oil.
- Do not prepare extremely greasy ingredients such as sausages in the air fryer.
- Place the baking tin in the basket if you want to bake a cake or quiche or if you want to fry fragile ingredients or filled ingredients.
- You can also use the air fryer to reheat ingredients. To reheat ingredients, set the temperature to 150^ C for up to 10 minutes.
Note: Please use fries which are suitable for the airfryer. In case of homemade fries, spray some oil on the fries. Baking times may vary based on amount of fries, type of fries, temperature and brand. Please following the instructions of the food supplier.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance after each use.
- Unplug the power cable from the power outlet.
- Let the appliance cool down.
- Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher proof.
- Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the appliance.
- If dirt is stuck to the basket or the bottom of the basket, put the frying rack in the basket and let it soak for about 10 minutes.
- Clean the base unit A① of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth.
Note: The airfryer rack and basket are both dishwasher-proof.
STORAGE
Store the appliance in a dry and enclosed space.
