SPECIFIC SAFETY PROVISIONS

• This equipment may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by people with reduced physical and mental capabilities and lack of familiarity with the equipment, if supervision or instruction is provided on how to use the equipment safely so that the associated risks are understood. Children should not play with the equipment. Unsupervised children should not carry out cleaning or maintenance of the equipment
• The unit is used for occasional operation.

NOTE

• To avoid overheating, do not cover the unit.
• Keep children under 3 years of age away from the appliance unless under constant supervision.
• Children between the ages of 3 and 8 can switch the appliance on/off provided it has been placed or installed in the intended normal operating position. Children should be supervised at all times unless they have received instructions on how to operate the appliance safely. Children between 3 and 8 years of age may not connect the appliance to the power supply, adjust or clean the appliance or perform maintenance.
• Caution - some parts of the appliance can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention should be paid to the presence of children and vulnerable persons.

INTRODUCTION

• The unit is intended for use in homes, and small premises. It is not intended for use in greenhouses or construction sites. The heater is equipped with a safety device which will switch off the heater in the event of accidental overheating (e.g. air inlet and outlet grilles clogged, motor speed too slow, no motor at all). To reset, disconnect the plug from the power supply for a few minutes, remove the cause of overheating and reconnect the device
• During initial start-up, there may be a slight emission of smoke. This is normal and will disappear after a few minutes of operation.

Basic precautions should always be observed when using the device:

• The unit must not be used outdoors in damp weather, in bathrooms or other wet or damp environments.
• Please note that the appliance can become very hot. Therefore, the appliance should be placed at a safe distance from flammable objects such as: furniture, curtains, etc.
• Do not cover the unit with, for example, a towel.
• The appliance must not be located directly under a wall socket.
• The appliance must not be connected to the mains via a timer or programmable switch.
• The appliance must not be placed in rooms where flammable dusts, liquids or gases are used or present.
• If the appliance is connected via an extension cord, ensure that the extension cord is as short as possible and fully extended
• The unit should not be used in the immediate vicinity of a bath, shower or swimming pool.
• If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its representative, service or a qualified person in order to avoid danger.
• Do not connect other devices to the same mains socket to which the device is connected
• The appliance should not be left unattended. Keep children and pets away from the appliance.
• Do not place the unit on unstable, moving surfaces or where the unit can be knocked over.
• If the appliance is not used for a long time, unplug it from the power supply. Do not leave the appliance switched on unattended. When disconnecting the appliance from the mains, pull out the plug, never pull on the power cord.
• Keep the unit away from curtains, curtains or places where the air inlet is easily blocked.
• To prevent possible electric shock, never operate the appliance with wet hands or when there is water on the power cord.
• Do not dispose of electrical appliances with unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection points. Contact your local authorities for information on available collection systems. If electrical appliances are disposed in landfill sites, hazardous substances can seep into the groundwater and enter the food chain, damaging your health.
• This equipment is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical or mental capabilities or lack of experience unless supervision or instruction is provided regarding the safe use of the equipment so that the associated risks are understood
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.

USE OF THE FAN HEATER

ATTENTION! Do not use the unit in rooms with a surface area of less than 4 m^2 .

• Position the appliance so that it stands on a stable surface, at a safe distance from damp areas and flammable objects.
• Connect the device to the network.
  • NOTE: Always use the heater in an upright position.
• Make sure there is a safe space between the radiator and furniture, curtains, etc. - 50 cm at the top and sides and 120 cm at the front.
• Move the control knob fig. A4 to position fig. B2 the front panel fig. A1 will be illuminated. Setting the knob to position fig. B1 will start heating at 50% of the appliance power, turning the knob to position fig. B4 allows the heater to operate at full power.

ATTENTION! After the heater is switched off, the fan continues to run for a few tens of seconds to allow the heaters to cool down. This is a normal phenomenon the appliance is not faulty.

- The user can adjust the temperature in gears I and II within a certain range using the thermostat In Fig. A6 to the desired temperature.

• The thermostat switch will automatically maintain the desired room temperature.
• When the room temperature rises to the required value, the thermostat switches off the heating element. When the temperature drops, the thermostat will restart the heating element. The unit automatically switches the heating element on and off, thus maintaining a constant room temperature.
• When you feel that the room temperature is comfortable, slowly turn the thermostat switch Fig. B3 counterclockwise in the minimum direction until the unit switches off.
• You can also turn the thermostat switch Fig. B3 counterclockwise to the minimum position or turn the thermostat switch clockwise to the maximum position to lower or raise the temperature.

SECURITY

The heater is equipped with an overheating protection which automatically switches off the unit in the event of overheating, e.g. due to the grilles being completely or partially blocked. In this case, unplug the unit from the power supply, wait about 30 minutes for it to cool down and remove the object obstructing the grilles. Then switch the appliance back on as described above. The unit should operate normally. If the problem persists, contact the service department.

The second safety feature is to cut off the power supply if the radiator falls over. Once the radiator is in the correct position, the radiator restarts.

CONSERVATION

• Unplug the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning. The housing of the appliance gets dirty easily, so wipe it frequently with a soft sponge. Wipe any soiled part with a sponge soaked in warm water with detergent. Then wipe the washed element with a dry cloth. Take care that water does not get inside the unit. To protect the housing, do not use solvents or strong detergents for cleaning.
• Clean the power cord and plug, then dry and pack in a plastic bag.
• Store the unit in a dry ventilated room away from children.
• Allow sufficient time for the heater to dry before restarting.

- Regularly clean the air inlets and outlets with a hoover (with regular use, at least twice a year).
