Thank you for purchasing a Concept product. We wish you much joy with your new appliance every day you use it. Please read the Instruction manual carefully before initial use. To refer to this manual any time you need to, we recommend you to keep it in a safe place. And please pass it to any future owner of the appliance.

When connected to the mains or when operation is complete, the device switches off automatically without any visual indicator.
IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Do not use the appliance in any other way than as described in this manual.
- Remove all the covering and marketing materials from the appliance before the first use.
- Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the values on the rating plate of the appliance.
- For additional protection, it is recommended to install a residual current device (RCD) with a rated trip current not exceeding 30mA in the bathroom electrical circuit. Contact an electrician for advice.
- The appliance is hot during operation and for some time after switching off. Therefore, do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles and buttons. There is risk of serious burns!
- Do not clean, store or cover the appliance until it has cooled completely.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on or connected to the mains.
- If you lay the appliance down during use, always place it on a non-flammable surface, but do not leave the appliance unattended.
- Make sure the appliance is switched off before unplugging it from the mains socket.
- When disconnecting the unit from the wall outlet, never pull the power cord, grasp the plug end and disconnect it by removing it from the receptacle.

- Do not allow children or unauthorized people to handle the appliance, use it out of their reach.

- Do not use the appliance with a damaged cord or plug and have it repaired immediately by an authorized service centre.
- Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance body.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- The appliance is only suitable for home use and is not intended for commercial use.
- Do not immerse the power cord, plug or appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use any accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

Do not repair the appliance yourself. Contact an authorized service centre.

Check the appliance and the power cord regularly for damage. Do not switch on a damaged appliance.
- Warning: the appliance will quickly reach a high temperature. Avoid contact between the heating surface of the appliance and your skin.
- Use the appliance only on dry or damp hair.
- Do not leave the heating plates (tongs) on the hair for more than a few seconds, damage to the hair could occur.
- The heating plates have a ceramic coating that will wear off over time. However, the appliance will still function normally.
- You may smell a slight odour when using the appliance, this is not a fault.
- The appliance is equipped with an automatic safety shut-off - after 30 minutes of operation, an audible signal will sound and the appliance will shut off.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be carried out by children unless they are 8 years old and under supervision. Children aged under 8 years of age must be kept away from the appliance and its power cord. Do not let children play with the appliance.
Damages from failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions are not covered by the warranty.

CAUTION:
Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, washbasins and other containers filled with water. If you use the appliance in the bathroom, be sure to switch it off and unplug it immediately after use, as the proximity of water and the appliance's contact with water is very dangerous, even when the appliance is turned off.
Do not touch the appliance with wet hands and do not handle it if you have wet feet or if you are barefoot.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Do not use the appliance to treat wigs or animals.
- After washing, dry your hair with a towel or hair dryer.
- Use the appliance only on dry or damp hair. Make sure hair is detangled and free of tangles.
- Do not use hairspray or other flammable substances
- Unwind the power cord completely
- Unlock the tongs of the tricycle by sliding the tong lock to the unlocked position.
- Plug the appliance plug into the mains.
- Switch on the appliance by pressing the off/on button.
- The temperature is automatically set to a minimum temperature of 120^ when the triple bulb is switched on. Use the temperature setting button to select a temperature suitable for your hair between 120-200°C. The temperature is switched in 10^ increments by pressing or holding the temperature setting button. The temperature flashes on the display during heating.
- After approx. 6 seconds, the lock symbol appears on the display and an audible signal sounds - the buttons are inactive.
- After the triplex has been heated to the desired temperature, the beep will sound twice and the temperature will be permanently lit on the display.
- Insert the strand of hair between the heating plates (tongs), at the point where you want the wave to start (working from top to bottom). firmly grip the tongs of the triclamp and hold them for a few seconds. Note: After clamping the pliers for 8 seconds, the display will flash "8". After 8 seconds, an audible signal sounds 3 times to alert you to the recommended release of the strand (timer against damage to hair from overheating).
- Open the tongs of the tricycle and slide them down the hair strand to the point where you want the next wave to start.
- Repeat the same process for other strands of hair until you achieve the desired style. Tip: Let your hair cool before finishing (brushing).

Never place a hot appliance or appliance on a surface that is not heat resistant during heating.

After use, press and hold the off/on button for 2 seconds - this will deactivate the button lock (an audible signal will sound and the lock icon will disappear from the display).
- To switch off the appliance, press the off/on button again.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
- Allow the appliance to cool on a heat-resistant surface and store it in a clean, dry place once it has cooled completely.
Remark:
- The temperature can be increased/decreased as required at any time during operation. First disable the button lock by pressing the off/on button for 2 seconds, then press the temperature setting button to adjust the temperature setting.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on or plugged into a power outlet.

Before each cleaning of the appliance, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet
Allow the appliance to cool completely on a heat resistant surface.
Make sure the appliance has cooled before handling it
To clean the surface of the appliance, use only a damp cloth, no detergents or hard objects, as they can damage the surface of the appliance!
Never clean the appliance under running water, do not rinse it or immerse it in water!
Do not wrap the power cord around the body of the appliance.
To store the appliance, use the pliers lock - grasp the pliers of the triclamp and switch the lock button to the locked position.
SERVICE CENTRE
Extensive maintenance or repair, which requires access to internal parts of the product, has to be performed by a qualified service centre.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS
- Packaging materials and old appliances should be recycled.
- Packaging materials may be disposed of as sorted waste.
- Dispose the plastic bags made of polyethylene (PE) of as sorted waste.
