193.100.008- Multi vegetable slicer/shredder set with glass container, 'PRO GLASS' TAVIALO.
1. Assignment:
A vegetable cutter or grater is a kitchen tool designed to chop or slice vegetables and other foods. Their main functions include:
-Slicing. Vegetables can be cut into thin or thick slices, strips.
-Grating. Grinding food into small pieces or shavings, such as carrots, cheese or potatoes.
-Time saving. Allows you to quickly prepare ingredients for salads, soups, stews and other dishes.
-Uniformity of cutting. Provides uniform slices, which is important for aesthetics and even cooking.
The vegetable slicer helps you prepare fries, salads, Mediterranean dishes, sauces, etc. The grater is ideal for cutting slices, grating cheese, courgette chips, etc.
2. Main parameters of the tool:
The main advantages of the TAVIALO vegetable slicer are:
-The container for collecting chopped vegetables is made of heat-resistant glass and has a volume of 1.5 litres. It is suitable for use in microwaves, ovens (for baking at temperatures up to 400°C) and freezers (for freezing food at temperatures down to -18°C). You can do all the steps in one container - prepare, bake and serve. It can also store all the parts included in the set when not in use.

300 400°C -18°C-Comes with 8 interchangeable blade attachments for cutting vegetables/fruits. The metal parts are made of stainless steel, so they stay sharp for a long time.
-The top plastic parts and the glass container are dishwasher safe.
-It is equipped with a heat-resistant silicone mat that is designed to fit the glass container. The mat prevents the glass jar from slipping when cutting vegetables and provides
additional protection against mechanical damage. The silicone mat can also be used to protect the surface from hot dishes.

3. Safety precautions when working with the tool:
Blades are extremely sharp, handle with care and keep out of the reach of children!
3.1. When working with the vegetable slicer and shredder, it is important to observe the safety instructions to avoid injury. Wear protective equipment to avoid contact between your fingers and the blades. Cut-resistant gloves can be used for additional hand protection.
3.2. Make sure that the vegetable cutter or grater is firmly placed on the surface and does not slip during operation.
3.3. Take your time, especially when working with sharp blades. Chop the food gradually to avoid injury.
3.4. When washing, hold on to non-edged parts and do not use too much force to avoid cutting yourself.
3.5. If vegetables are round or unstable, cut one side first to make the product more stable on the grater or vegetable slicer.
3.6. After use, always put the vegetable slicer or grater in a safe place, out of the reach of children.
3.7. Clean all blades under running water immediately after use to extend the life of the blades and keep them sharp for a long time.
3.8. Always place the glass container on the wire rack, never place it directly on the bottom of the oven or stove.
3.9. Use gloves or a cloth to remove the glass container from the oven - there is a risk of burns!
3.10. Do not pour cold liquid into a hot glass container, as this may damage it. Also, never pour boiling liquid into a cold glass container. Always heat the container together with the contents.
3.11. Work slowly and slowly.
3.12. Not intended for use by children.
3.13. Use the tool only for its intended purpose.
3.14. Before each use, check the tool for chips, cracks or wear.
3.15. If the tool has been physically impacted, deformed or worn during use, further use may result in injury. The tool must not be used again.
3.16. Improper use of the tool may result in injury to hands, eyes, face or other parts of the body.
The company is not liable for misuse of the tool, improper use of the tool or use of a damaged or worn tool.

4. Preparation of the tool for use:
Preparing your vegetable slicer or shredder for use is an important step in ensuring that it works effectively and safely. Here are the basic preparation steps:

Read the instructions. Before using the tool for the first time, read the manufacturer's instructions carefully to understand how to use the tool correctly.
-
Check the cleanliness. Wash the vegetable slicer or grater thoroughly before use, even if it is new, as it may contain residues of factory dust or packaging. Use lukewarm water and detergent and be careful to wash the sharp parts.

Check the blades. Make sure all blades are sharp, clean, and free of damage. Dull blades can be dangerous because they require more force, increasing the risk of injury.

Make sure that all parts are correctly assembled and securely fastened. Before operating, make sure that the vegetable cutter or shredder is firmly placed on the work surface and does not slip.
-
Prepare the vegetables by washing, peeling and trimming them to a size that is easy to grate or chop.
5. How to use:
Use a vegetable cutter:
Important: Ensure that the vegetable cutter attachment is correctly installed with the 'THIS SIDE UP' label facing up.
-
Place the glass container (1) on the silicone mat (9) (see Fig. 1).
-
Place the base of the vegetable slicer (3) on the container (1).
-
Open the lid of the vegetable slicer (4), select the attachment (17 or 18) and insert it into the base (3).
-
Place the food on the centre of the vegetable slicer blade (17 or 18) with the flat or larger side down (see Fig. 2).
-
Press the lid (4) on the surface with both hands to cut the food (see Fig. 3).
-
Use the cleaning scraper (7) to clean any excess or food residue on the vegetable slicer push rod (5) (see Fig. 4).

Large vegetable cutter attachment (17).
Application:
-Potatoes. For example, raw for frying or boiling.
-Carrots, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, onions, celery.
-Boiled eggs, boiled ham or sausage.
-Soft cheese, such as mozzarella.
-Do not use on hard fruits and vegetables such as beetroot or sweet potatoes. Also not suitable for tomatoes.

Remove the vegetable slicer base (3) from the glass container (1) and place the slicer base (6) on the glass container (1).
-
Select a slicer blade (one of 11-16) and insert it into the slicer base (6) - press it down until you hear a click.
-
Place the food in the holder (8) (see Fig. 5).
-
Make longitudinal movements over the blade back and forth to shred the food (see Fig. 6).
-
To replace the blade, gently press with two thumbs as shown in Fig. 7.
-
The slicer base (6) can also be used separately on any flat surface (see Fig. 8).

6.1. Thorough washing after each use.
Rinse the vegetable cutter or grater immediately after use to prevent food residues from drying out. This will facilitate the cleaning process and prevent the accumulation of bacteria.
Use lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Clean the blades carefully to avoid cutting yourself.
6.2. Cleaning hard-to-reach areas.
For a thorough cleaning, you can use a small brush or toothbrush to reach hard-to-reach areas.
In case of dried food residues, you can soak the instrument in warm water for a few minutes before washing.
6.3. Drying.
After washing, dry the tool thoroughly with a soft towel, especially the metal parts, to prevent rusting.
Store the vegetable slicer or grater in a dry place, away from moisture.
6.4. Check the blades regularly.
Do not use the vegetable slicer or shredder with damaged or cracked blades.
7.Storage and transportation:
7.1. If the vegetable slicer/shredder has sharp blades, it is important to store it in a place where the blades are protected from contact with other objects. This will help to avoid accidental cuts and maintain sharpness.
7.2. Store the tool in a dry place to prevent rusting of metal parts. After washing the vegetable slicer and dicer, make sure it is completely dry before storing it.
7.3. Keep tools out of the reach of children to avoid accidental injury.
7.4. When transporting, use protective blade covers or wrap sharp parts in a cloth or towel to avoid cuts.
If the original box or packaging is available, this is also ideal for transport.
7.5. Transport the vegetable slicer/shredder in a separate compartment in a bag or container so that it does not come into contact with other items or tools that could damage it or be damaged by the blades.
7.6. When transported in a vehicle, blades and sharp parts must be protected from accidental damage. You can use foam or cloth for wrapping.
8. Disposal:
Dispose of the product and its packaging in accordance with national legislation or in accordance with local regulations.
