Precautions when connecting only Type-C
- The monitor will not be displayed if the device is not sufficiently powered. In this case, please connect it to an external power source.
- If symptoms such as screen failure (no display) or flickering occur when using only Type-C connection, please connect immediately to the included adapter or an external power source of 5V/3A or more, reduce the brightness value, then connect Type-C again.
There may also be a power outage when DCR is activated. In this case, disable DCR and try again.
- Even with a Type-C connection only, the maximum screen brightness varies depending on the power capacity of the connected device. If you only use the Type-C connection without connecting an external power source, we recommend that you first check the maximum brightness that the screen can display. To check in advance the maximum brightness the screen can display with only a Type-C connection, set the brightness to 0 when connected to the supplied adapter or an external 5V/3A power supply or more. Then connect only Type-C (*1), increase the brightness value until the screen is no longer displayed, and check the numerical range of brightness that the screen can display.
(*1 Please be sure to try it in an environment where you can change the connection to the included adapter or an external power supply of 5V/3A or more.)
- On Mac and some models, the input source may not change when replacing the Type-C port. In this case, restart the monitor power and disconnect/connect the cable.
- Depending on Mac and some other models, switching the input source from HDMI to Type-C may not work. In this case, please unplug the HDMI cable and change the input source.
- You cannot connect a computer to two Type-C ports at the same time.
