GENERAL INFORMATION

For optimal performance of your dehumidifier:

Place the dehumidifier on a solid and level surface in an area with at least 50 cm (20 in) of open space on all sides to allow for adequate air flow.

Do not place near a radiator or any other heat source.

Ensure that all windows are closed for maximum efficiency.

Ensure that the filter is kept clean. This prevents excess electricity consumption and ensures optimal efficiency.

To prevent noise and/or vibration, do not place the appliance on a soft or irregular surface while in operation.

To prevent damage, never insert any kind of rod or other soft or hard object into the structure of the appliance.

The capacity of the dehumidifier depends on the temperature and the humidity of the room.

At lower temperatures, less humidity will be removed.

If there is an interruption to the power supply, the dehumidifier will restart after 3 minutes (depending on the model).

This automatic interval period protects the compressor.

ATTENTION:

The dehumidifier must be placed in a vertical position for at least 12 hours before use.

Do not attempt to replace the power cord or plug, as this is a dangerous operation. Have them replaced immediately by a Flama-authorized technical assistance service or by similarly qualified technicians to prevent danger.

Humidity control button SET (11)

Press the SET button to set the desired humidity level in the room, adjustable from 40% to 80% in 5% increments.

After a period of operation, when the ambient humidity is lower than the selected humidity by 2%, the compressor will stop, and the fan will stop 3 minutes later. When the ambient humidity is equal to or higher than the selected humidity by 2%, the compressor will restart after a 3-minute protection period.

Draining Collected Water

When the water tank is full, the full tank indicator light will turn on, the operation will stop automatically, and an alarm will sound 15 times to alert the user to empty the water tank.

Emptying the Water Tank

Press the sides of the tank gently with both hands and pull out smoothly.

Discard the collected water.

Place the water tank back in place.

NOTE: Do not remove the float from the water tank. The full tank sensor will not detect the water level correctly without the float, and water may leak from the tank.

If the water tank is dirty, wash it with cold or warm water. Do not use detergents, scrubbers, chemically treated cloths, gasoline, benzene, thinners, or other solvents as they can scratch and damage the tank, causing water leakage.

When replacing the water tank, press firmly into place with both hands. If the tank is not positioned correctly, the “FULL TANK” sensor will be activated, and the dehumidifier will not operate.

Continuous Water Drainage

The device has a continuous drainage port. Using a plastic tube (with an inner diameter of 10 mm), insert it into the drainage hole (on the intermediate plate), pull it out from the side of the water tank, install it in place, and arrange the drainage tube.

The water in the tank can be continuously drained through the continuous drainage port on the device.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

IMPORTANT: Before cleaning or maintenance, turn off the dehumidifier and unplug it from the electrical outlet.

Cleaning the Exterior of the Dehumidifier

Clean the exterior with a dry, clean cloth.

If the dehumidifier is very dirty, clean it with a neutral detergent and then remove the detergent with a damp cloth.

Do not wash the device with a hose as it will cause electrical leakage and risk of electric shock.

Cleaning the Air Filter

Dust accumulates in the filter and restricts airflow. Restricted airflow reduces system efficiency and, if blocked, can damage the dehumidifier.

The air filter requires regular cleaning. The air filter is removable for easy cleaning.

Do not operate the dehumidifier without the air filter, or the dehumidifier may become contaminated.

Remove the filter from the filter compartment.

Use a vacuum cleaner to gently absorb dust on the surface.

If the filter is very dirty, wash it with water and mild detergent and dry it well.

Reinstall the filter.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

Empty the water from the water tank when it is full or when the full tank indicator appears on the panel. After emptying the removable water tank, place it back in its original position. The device will resume operation.

Whenever the device stops, wait at least 3 minutes before restarting it to prevent damage to the compressor.

If the device does not start or stops intermittently for unknown reasons, check the extension cord and the power outlet. If they are in normal condition, unplug the device and wait 10 minutes before restarting.

If after 10 minutes the device does not restart, contact FLAMA (customer support line) or an Authorized Technical Service.

While the device is operating, the compressor produces heat, which may increase the room temperature. This is normal and does not affect the device's operation.

STORAGE

If you will not be using the device for an extended period, follow these steps:

Unplug the power cord and empty the water tank. Allow the water tank and dehumidifier to dry completely.

Clean the air filter.

Store the device upright in a dust-free location, preferably covered with a plastic cover.
