Before first use

▶ Make sure there is no transport damage. Remove all packaging and keep out of children's reach. ▶ Wait at least two hours before installing the appliance in order to ensure the refrigerant circuit is fully efficient. ▶ Handle the appliance always with at least two persons because it is heavy.

Installation

The appliance should be placed in a well-ventilated place. Ensure a space of at least 10 cm above and around the appliance. ▶ Never place the appliance in a damp area or location where it might be splashed with water. Clean and dry water splashes and stains with a soft clean cloth. - Do not install the appliance in direct sunlight or in the near of heat sources (e.g. stoves, heaters). ▶ Install and level the appliance in an area suitable for its size and use. - Keep ventilation openings in the appliance or in the in-built structure clear of obstruction. ▶ Make sure that the electrical information on the rating plate agrees with the power supply. If it does not, contact an electrician. The appliance is operated by a 220-240 VAC/50 Hz power supply. Abnormal voltage fluctuation may cause the appliance to fail to start, or damage to the temperature control or compressor, or there may be an abnormal noise when operating. In such case, an automatic regulator shall be mounted. ▶ Do not use multi-plug adapters and extension cables. - Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear of the appliance. ▶ Ensure that the power cable is not trapped by the refrigerator. Do not step on the power cable.

Daily use

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. ▶ Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload, but not allowed to clean or install the refrigerating appliances. - Keep away children under 3 years of age from the appliance unless they are constantly supervised. ▶ Children shall not play with the appliance. If cool gas or other inflammable gas is leaking in the vicinity of the appliance, turn off the valve of the leaking gas, open the doors and windows and do not unplug a plug in the power cable of the refrigerator or any other appliance. ▶ Notice that the appliance is set for operation at a specific ambient range between 10 and 43°C. The appliance may not work properly if it is left for a long period at a temperature above or below the indicated range. ▶ Do not place unstable articles (heavy objects, containers filled with water) on top of the refrigerator, to avoid personal injury caused by falling or electric shock caused by contact with water. ▶ Do not pull on the door shelves. The door may be pulled slant, the bottle rack may be pulled away, or the appliance may topple. ▶ Open and close the doors only with the handles. The gap between the doors and between the doors and the cabinet is very narrow. Do not extend your hands in these areas to avoid pinching your fingers. Open or close the refrigerator doors only when there are no children standing within the range of door movement.

  • Do not store or use inflammable, explosive or corrosive materials in the appliance or in the vicinity. ▶ Do not store medicines, bacteria or chemical agents in the appliance. This appliance is a household appliance. It is not recommended to store materials that require strict temperatures. ▶ Never store liquids in bottles or cans (besides high percentage spirits) especially carbonated beverages in the freezer, as these will burst during freezing. ▶ Check the condition of food if a warming in the freezer has taken place. ▶ Do not set unnecessarily low temperature in the refrigerator compartment. Minus temperatures may occur at high settings. Attention: Bottles can burst ▶ Do not touch frozen goods with wet hands (wear gloves). Especially do not eat ice lollies immediately after removal from the freezer compartment. There is the risk to freeze or the formation of frost blisters. FIRST aid: keep immediately under running cold water. Do not pull away! ▶ Do not touch the inside surface of the freezer storage compartment when in operation, especially with wet hands, as your hands may freeze onto the surface. ▶ Unplug the appliance in the event of a power interruption or before cleaning. Allow at least 7 minutes before restarting the appliance, as frequent starting may damage the compressor. ▶ Do not use electrical devices inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer. Maintenance / cleaning ▶ Make sure children are supervised if they carry out cleaning and maintenance. ▶ Disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply before undertaking any routine maintenance. Allow at least 5 minutes before restarting the appliance, as frequent starting may damage the compressor.

This appliance is intended for cooling and freezing food. BUTTONS

K1. Refrigeration temperature adjustment button: short press to adjust the refrigeration temperature. K2. ECO function on/off button: long press 3 seconds to turn on/off ECO function. K3. Quick cooling function on/off button: short press to turn on/off quick cooling function. K4. Lock/Unlock button: press 3 seconds to lock/unlock the display panel.

All of the above buttons are one-touch pressed (short press) or held for 3 seconds. There will be a beep after each active key operation (adjustment tone, confirmation tone, null tone).

Notes:

After the refrigeration door is closed for 60 seconds, the indicator light will be off, and the display panel will be in lock state.

Before first use

Remove all packaging materials, keep them out of children's reach, and dispose of them in an environmentally friendly manner. ▶ Clean the inside and outside of the appliance with water and a mild detergent before putting any food in it. ▶ After the appliance has been leveled and cleaned, wait for at least 2-5 hours before connecting it to the power supply. See Section INSTALLATION. ▶ Precool the compartments at high settings before loading with food. The function Power-Freeze helps to cool down the compartments quickly. The refrigerator temperature and freezer temperature are automatically set to 5°C and -18°C respectively. These are the recommended settings. If desired, you can change these temperatures manually. Please see ADJUST THE TEMPERATURE.

NOTICE!

When the appliance is switched on after disconnection from the main power supply, it may take up to 12 hours for the correct temperatures to be reached. Empty the appliance before switching off. To switch off the appliance, pull the power cord out of the power socket.

1. First powered on

After the refrigerator is powered on for the first time, the refrigerator compartment is automatically set to 3°C; when the door is open, the temperature display icon and the "unlock" function icon light up.

Note: The following 3-7 functions are all operated in unlocked state. If you are in locked state when adjusting the following functions, please exit the locked state first.

2. LOCK / UNLOCK FUNCTION SETTING:

3s Unlock

This control panel can automatically enter the lock function: After the refrigerator door is closed, the display panel is locked. The display panel enters the lock state if there is no operation within 30 seconds.

In the locked state, press the "3s Unlock" button for 3 seconds, and the "lock function icon" D will go out to unlock. In the unlocked state, press the "3s Unlock" button for 3 seconds, the buzzer will sound, and the "lock function icon" D will light up, and the lock function will be entered. In the locked state, the display panel cannot adjust the refrigeration temperature, quick cooling function, ECO function etc.

3. REFRIGERATOR TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT

Adjusting the temperature of the Fridge compartment

When the display panel is lit and unlocked, press the "Temp.Set°C" button to enter the refrigeration temperature adjustment state. The refrigeration temperature becomes the current setting gear value and starts to flash. Then, each time you press the "Temp.Set°C" button, the refrigeration setting temperature gear will rise by one gear until the maximum value of the refrigeration gear is reached. Press it again to jump to the minimum value, and cycle in sequence. After stopping the button operation for 5 seconds, the current adjustment gear value stops flashing, and the current setting gear value is confirmed, and the current setting gear is displayed until the screen goes out; if other keys except the "Temp.Set°C" button are pressed within 5 seconds, the flashing stops, and the display state of the corresponding button operation is entered. At the same time, the current gear value is determined as the current setting gear, and the current setting gear is displayed until the screen goes out.

The gear adjustment order is: 1 - 2 - 3 - 5 - 8 - 1°C

4. QUICK COOLING: "Super Cool"

Super Cool

In the unlocked state, press the "Super Cool" button, the quick cooling function icon C lights up, the buzzer sounds once, and the quick cooling function is entered. In the unlocked state, press the "Super Cool" button again, the quick cooling function icon C goes out, the buzzer sounds once, and the quick cooling function is exited. After entering the quick cooling state, when the quick cooling function is completed, the quick cooling state is automatically exited.

Note: In the quick cooling state, the "Temp.Set°C" button cannot be used to adjust the temperature level. In the quick cooling state, entering the ECO function will exit the quick cooling function.

5. POWER SAVING FUNCTION: "ECO"

3s ECO

In the unlocked state, long press the "3S ECO" button, the ECO function icon B is displayed, the buzzer sounds once, and the ECO function is entered. In the unlocked state, long press the "3S ECO" button again, the ECO function icon B goes out, the buzzer sounds once, and the ECO function is exited.

Note: In ECO mode, entering the quick cooling function will exit the ECO function.

6. DOOR OPENING ALARM FUNCTION

When the refrigerator door is open for 3 minutes without closing, the buzzer starts to alarm with an open door alarm tone.

When the refrigerator is powered off, the working status at the moment of power outage is memorized. After power is restored, the refrigerator continues to work according to the gear position and functional status set before the power outage.

Note: The partition surface of the freezer will stick small ice particles when the door is opened many times, when making ice a lot, or when using hot water to make ice. This is normal and not a problem. You just need to clean it thoroughly.

COOLING METHOD

  1. This refrigerator uses indirect cooling method.
  2. The cool air from the freezer will flow by fan and will cool all interior room of the refrigerator.
  3. The refrigerator has frost on the evaporator or frost on the freezer compartment, but it reduces when it is defrosted automatically periodically.

HOW TO DEFROST

The defrosting of the refrigerator is done automatically, no manual operation is needed.

FOOD STORAGE

  1. Wrap fish and smoked meats in moisture-vapor-proof material to prevent transfer of odors.
  2. Pre-cool hot foods, wrap them with plastic film or put them in an airtight receptacle.
  3. Wipe the water on the surface of the bottles before storing them.
  4. Be sure not to store bottles such as beer, cokes, etc. in the freezer compartment.
  5. Do not put vegetables which are liable to freeze at the rear part of the shelves.
  6. If planning to keep fresh fish and meats for a long period, wrap them in freezer paper and store in the freezer compartment.

DEODORIZER FEATURE

The refrigerator has the deodorizing feature. However, for foods stored in the refrigerator that have a special odor such as durian, jackfruit, rotten eggs, etc., the odor removal function may be lost.

Adjustable shelves

▶ Always keep the door gasket clean. ▶ Clean the inside and housing of the appliance with a sponge dampened in warm water and neutral detergent. ▶ 1. Please scrub the interior and exterior of the refrigerator, including door sealing, door rack, glass shelves, boxes and so on, with a soft towel or sponge dipped in warm water (you may add neutral detergent into the warm water).

▶ 2. If there is liquid spilled, remove all the contaminated parts, directly rinse with the flow water, dry and place it back into the fridge.

  1. If there is spilled cream (such as the cream, melting ice cream), please remove all the contaminated parts, put into the warm water with about 40\ °C for some time, then rinse with the flow water, dry and place it back into the fridge.

▶ 4. In case some small part or component gets stuck inside of the fridge (between shelves or drawers), use small soft brush to release it. If you could not reach the part, please contact Haier service

If the appliance is not used for an extended period of time, and you will not use the Holiday function for the refrigerator:

Take out the food.

Unplug the power cord.

  1. Use the same method to remove the middle hinge ① and the refrigerator door ②.
  2. Rotate the removed middle hinge ① 180° and install it on the left side of the box.

  1. To prevent scratches, it is recommended to remove the door stopper ① on the right side of the bottom of the freezer door and refrigerator door, and keep it together with the upper and lower hinges on the right side for future use.
  2. Remove the lower right hinge ① and left foot ② at the bottom of the box. Keep the lower right hinge for use, and install the left foot to the right side.

  1. Install the left door stopper 1 from the accessory bag on the left side of the freezer door and the refrigerator door according to the sequence shown in the figure. At the same time, remove the lower trim support 2 of the refrigerator door and install it to the indicated position on the right side of the door.
  2. Install the refrigerated door 1 to the cabinet along the middle hinge axis, install the lower left hinge 2 in the accessory bag to the left side of the cabinet, and adjust the side of the door to be flush with the side of the cabinet.
