How to connect my smartphone to the speaker?

Turn on the speaker with the Power button. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for devices. Select SOGO SS-8790 from the list. Once connected, the LED lights flash quickly. You can now listen to your music.

What to do if the speaker does not turn on?

Check that the battery is charged. Plug in the provided power adapter (15V, 2A) and wait a few minutes. If the red charging indicator does not light up, try another outlet. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.

How to use the TWS function to connect two speakers?

Turn on both speakers of the same model (SS-8790). On one of them, press and hold the Play/Pause button (about 3 seconds). The two speakers will pair automatically. Then connect your smartphone to the first speaker: sound will be played in stereo on both.

How to charge the battery and how long?

Turn off the speaker. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet and connect it to the DC 15V input on the back. The indicator turns red during charging and green when the battery is full. Charging time is approximately 6 hours. Do not charge for more than 8 consecutive hours.

Can I use the speaker while charging?

It is not recommended to use the speaker while charging, as this may reduce battery life. Additionally, the device may heat up. Use it only when unplugged.

How to listen to FM radio?

Turn on the speaker and press the Mode button to switch to FM mode. Briefly press Play to start automatic station search. Found stations are saved. Use the Previous/Next buttons to navigate. For better reception, plug an audio cable into the AUX input (it acts as antenna).

What to do if the sound is distorted?

Reduce the volume of the audio source or the speaker. Check that you are not in excessive equalization mode. Press the EQ button on the remote to choose a suitable preset (Flat, Classic). If distortion persists, move the Bluetooth source away from possible interference.

How to clean the speaker?

Use a soft dry cloth. For stubborn stains, slightly dampen the cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or ammonia. Make sure the device is unplugged before cleaning.

Can I use a USB flash drive or SD card?

Yes, insert a USB flash drive or TF card (microSD) up to 64 GB into the corresponding slots. The speaker automatically switches to player mode and starts playback. Use the Previous/Next buttons to change tracks and Play/Pause to control playback.

How to use the microphone and karaoke function?

Plug the provided microphone into the MIC input on the panel. Adjust the microphone volume with the corresponding rotary knob. Press ECHO to add an echo effect. You can also connect a guitar via the GUITAR input for accompaniment. The karaoke function is active as soon as the microphone is plugged in.

II. Precautions during the usage of the product

• This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial and only for household use. Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.
• The unit must be used only for the intended purposes. No liability is accepted for damages arising from improper use or wrong handling.

7. Product and Panel Overview

Top panel

This panel is located on the top part of the speaker, with multiple buttons and functions we can manage multiple things.

1. DC INPUT 15 V: To connect the Power adaptor to charge the speaker.
2. Guitar Input: This speaker has Guitar input, with the help of this we can connect the guitar to the speaker and play our own creations.
3. Mic Input: To connect wired microphone.
4. Guitar Volume: With the help of Guitar volume rotating knob we can increase and decrease the

mic volume. Rotating it in clockwise direction increase the volume and anticlockwise decreases it.

1. Echo: Press the ECHO button on unit turn on or off the microphone echo effect.
2. Bass: Press the SUPER BASS button on unit to increase the bass effect.

4. AUX input: With the help of an auxiliary cable, you can connect any device like an MP4 player, radio, or any other device and enjoy the content.
5. USB Input: Supports up to 64GB USB drive. Once you insert the USB drive into the slot, you can listen to the music and songs saved on the USB drive.
6. TF card: Supports up to 64GB TF card. To listen to the music saved on the TF card, simply insert the TF card into the available slot and enjoy the music.
7. Power on/off: With the help of this button, you can switch the unit on or off.
8. Mic Volume: This rotating knob helps increase and decrease the microphone volume. Rotating it clockwise increases the volume, and rotating it counterclockwise decreases it.
9. LED Display: Located on the top part of the speaker, it shows the speaker's functional mode and other sound setting details.
10. Mode / LED switch: This button has dual functions. To change the speaker's functional mode, press it briefly (short press) and you can choose any mode (FM/BLUETOOTH/AUX). To use this switch as an LED light switch, press it for a longer time (long press) to turn the LED lights on or off.
11. REC / Play: This button also has dual functions; with a short press you can play the music, and with a long press you can start the recording function.
12. MIC / REPEAT: With the help of this button, we can choose between mic priority and repeat song. With a short press we can choose the Mic priority mode and with a long press of this button we can listen to our favorite music or song multiple times.
13. Previous Song/Previous Channel: To move to the previous song, hold the button and press it once and it will move to the previous song and the same way, keep pressing the button until you get the desired song from the playlist. The same button we can use in FM mode to switch the FM channel.
14. PLAY-PAUSE / TWS PAIRING: With the help of this button we can play/pause the music at any time and also the same button we can use for TWS pairing function. With a short press we can play/Pause and a long press helps us in TWS pairing.
15. Next Song/Next Channel: To change to the next song, hold the button and press it and it will move to the next song and the same way, keep pressing the button until you get the desired song from the playlist. The same button we can use in FM mode to switch the FM channel.
16. Music Volume: This rotating knob helps to increase and decrease the music volume. Rotating it in the clockwise direction increases the volume and anticlockwise decreases it.

8. Remote control buttons overview

1. Standby state: With the help of this button the unit can be switched on and put in the standby mode; to switch it off permanently, need to switch off with the button located on the back part of the speaker.
2. Mute: To mute or unmute speaker sound.
3. Volume increase: To increase the volume.
4. Repeat a song in audio mode: With the help of this button you can listen to your favorite song multiple times and tirelessly.
5. (Fast rewind): In Bluetooth audio mode, this button helps to move on to the previous song or video. In FM mode, it moves to the next channel when searching manually.
6. Play/pause: This button helps to play or pause the music in any mode. In FM mode, with a short press, it can be moved to the next saved channel. If we press this same button once in FM mode, this same button starts searching different FM channels and keeps saving them automatically.
7. (Fast forward): In Bluetooth audio mode, this button helps to move on to the next song or video. In FM mode, it moves to the next channel when searching manually.
8. Stop: With the help of this button, we can stop the music at any time.
9. Volume reduce: To reduce the volume.
10. For audio mode, change EQ adjustment with short press: This unit has a built-in equalizer system. Press the EQ button on the unit to select a setting that best matches the music style: FLAT, CLASSIC.

11 SCAN: This button can be used when the speaker is in FM mode. It helps to automatically search for FM channels and once it finds a channel, it saves it automatically in the system.

The Bluetooth mode is the default mode. When the speaker does not have any memory card inserted, it works only in the default mode. However, when a memory card is inserted, it enters into the Memory SD card / USB drive mode.

This button helps to change and select from Bluetooth to Auxiliary or FM mode.

9. Bluetooth Speaker functions

Before starting

Make sure to fully charge the battery of the speaker before first use, as it enhances the battery lifespan. The default mode is Bluetooth mode, and later you can change it to any mode with the help of the mode button.

IPX4 PROTECTION:

This unit provides IPX4 protection, meaning it is protected from water splashes.

However, make sure that while using it near any water source, the button panels are kept away from direct water contact. Also, ensure that the charging input does not get wet.

How to connect a device with the Bluetooth speaker?

To connect your electronic device, turn on the speaker using the On/Off button located on the back panel. The speaker automatically enters pairing mode. Also, turn on the Bluetooth mode of your electronic device and make sure it is visible to all nearby devices.

Search for the Bluetooth pairing name SOGO SS-8790 on your device screen. Once it appears, press it to connect with the speaker and wait until connected.

Once your device is connected to the speaker, the RGB lights start to move fast.

Now you can play any music or song on your device to listen through the Bluetooth speakers.

With the help of the Play/Pause button, you can play and stop the music anytime.

With the Prev. and Next buttons, you can choose songs from the song list.

NOTE: Once your device is connected with the Bluetooth speaker, there is no need to reconnect it. Whenever you turn on the Bluetooth of your device, it automatically connects with the speaker.

TWS functioning:

This speaker model has a special function known as TWS (True Wireless) function. With this function, you can connect 2 speakers at the same time with the same device without any wired connection.

This function helps to enhance the sound level and also helps to cover a big area for parties and functions.

To turn on the TWS function, switch on the 2 identical and same model speakers.

Press the play button for a long period (long press) and in no time both speakers will be connected to the device.

Now you can enjoy music and songs with enhanced quality.

NOTE: To make use of the TWS function, make sure both speakers are of the same model and also have the same Bluetooth pairing name.

Aux-In / Line-In

With the Aux-In input, you can connect various musical devices such as radios, laptops, televisions, and any other devices that do not have Bluetooth connectivity.

To connect devices, use an audio cable: plug one end into the speaker's Aux-In port and the other end into the device you wish to connect. The speaker will automatically enter Aux-In mode when the cable is inserted.

You can then play music and songs from the connected device.

NOTE: In this mode, all functions are controlled by the external device.

Music via USB drive and Micro TF/SD card:

This speaker has USB and Micro TF card slots, allowing you to play music saved on a pen drive or memory card.

To use USB drive or TF card mode, first turn on the speaker using the power button located on the back panel.

Insert the USB pen drive or micro-SD card into the corresponding slots. There is no need to select a mode manually; the speaker will automatically start playing the saved music once the card or drive is inserted.

In this mode, you can use the Play button to play or pause music at any time, and the Prev. and Next buttons to switch between songs saved on the external memory.

NOTE: Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth mode when inserting the USB drive or Micro SD card.

FM mode:

Press the power button to turn on the speaker, then use the Mode button to switch from Bluetooth mode to FM mode.

Press the "Play" button and the speaker will automatically search for FM channels, saving them as they are found.

Once all FM channels are saved, you can use the Prev./Next buttons to browse and select your favorite FM channels to listen to.

NOTE: In FM mode, to get a better FM signal, please insert the audio cable into the Aux-in input; it works as an antenna.

Recording function:

To use the recording function, make sure that the speaker has a USB pen drive or TF card inserted. Turn on the speaker and plug in the microphone. Once the microphone is connected, your device is ready to record your voice.

Press the REC button to start the recording procedure, and press the same button again to stop the recording.

RGB LED Light function

The default light color is multiple colors moving in rings. The rings continue moving with changing colors. Pressing the button once makes the rings appear in a single color and keep changing colors automatically. Pressing the button again makes the single-color rings revolve and constantly change color. This way, there are multiple-colored ring options that keep changing and flashing according to the music beat. You can also turn off the light by pressing and holding the button until it turns off on its own.

Microphone connection

This speaker has 1 microphone input available, and with that you can connect the microphone provided with the speaker unit.

With the help of the rotating Mic volume knob, you can increase or decrease the volume.

Guitar input

With the help of the available guitar input, you can connect the guitar and mix the guitar sound with any music to create your own musical creations.

10. Charging instructions

This unit has an inbuilt battery, and to charge it, this unit is provided with a power adapter of 15V, 2A. To charge the battery, turn off the unit, insert the power adapter into an electrical wall outlet, and connect it to the charging slot of the speaker. The indicator light will turn red, meaning the unit is charging.

Approximate charging time is 5-6 hours. Once the battery is fully charged, the indicator light turns green.

To extend battery life, make sure not to charge it for more than 8 hours at a time.

NOTE: Play time depends on the type of music and volume, with 50% volume and normal music or sound it works approx. 5 hours.

Inbuilt battery is not replaceable, do not remove it or replace it on your own and in case of any issue take it to the authorized service center to get repair.

Also make sure at the time of charging the battery charging adaptor input must be dry.

Do not use the speaker while in charge as it might reduce the life of battery.

11. Cleaning and maintenance

While cleaning the product, just use soft or dry cloth and in case of severe stains use the damp cloth.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, as it can damage the paint, plastic or even the speaker itself.

Keep it away from sun light and do not keep it in hot and humid atmosphere.

Make sure to remove the power adaptor cable and keep it in cool and dry place.
