Operating and Safety Instructions
FOR INDOOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
When using this or any other electrical product, always follow these basic safety precautions, especially when children are present.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious personal injury, and property damage, please note the following:
- Keep the kettle out of reach of children and pets. The kettle and its components can become very hot during use.
- Before use, check the kettle for any visible damage, cracks, or defects. Do not use it if damaged.
- Ensure the power cord is in good condition and not frayed or damaged. Never use it if the cord is defective.
- If the kettle malfunctions, stops working, or shows signs of wear and tear, disconnect it from the power. Do not attempt to repair it yourself. Refer to the Warranty Policy on Page 10 for guidance.
- Ensure the kettle is plugged into a grounded, appropriately rated outlet. Do not use an extension cord to power the kettle, as this can be a fire hazard.
- Only use clean, potable water in the kettle. Avoid using water with high levels of minerals (hard water) to prevent mineral buildup.
- Always fill the kettle with the recommended amount of water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line to avoid overflow or malfunction.
- Do not overfill the kettle, as this can lead to boiling over and burns.
- Never operate the kettle without water inside. Boiling an empty kettle can cause overheating and damage the heating element.
- Place the kettle on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure that the kettle is placed away from the edge of countertops to avoid accidental spills.
- Keep hands, utensils, or other objects away from the spout or opening during operation to avoid burns.
- The kettle is designed only for boiling water. Do not use it for any other purpose, such as cooking food or heating non-water liquids unless specified in the manufacturer's instructions.
-
Upon initial use, a smoky odor may occur as protective coatings or films on the kettle's parts burn off. This is normal and ensures the proper functioning and safety of the product. It is also recommended to boil water once without adding any substances (such as tea or coffee) to help remove any manufacturing oils or residues. After the first boil, discard the water and rinse the kettle.
-
Do not use the electric kettle to boil anything other than water (such as milk or soup).
- The kettle and its base may become hot during operation. Use the handle to lift or pour and avoid touching the kettle's body or the heating element.
- Keep the spout directed away from your face or hands to prevent hot water from splashing or spilling.
- Do not attempt to open the lid while the kettle is in operation or immediately after it has boiled, as hot steam may escape, causing burns or injury.
- Do not leave the kettle unattended while boiling. This will help prevent overheating or accidental spills.
Always unplug the kettle when not in use, especially after boiling water. - Avoid pulling on the power cord when unplugging the kettle. Always grip the plug firmly to avoid damaging the cord or the electrical components.
- Allow the kettle to cool completely before cleaning or storing. Never attempt to clean the kettle while it's still hot.
- After each use, empty the kettle and wipe the interior to prevent mineral buildup from hard water.
- Clean the kettle regularly. Typically, you can wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and clean the inside with a vinegar solution if necessary.
Depending on the hardness of your water, descale the kettle every few months using a descending solution or vinegar to prevent mineral buildup on the heating element. - Never immerse the kettle or its base in water or any other liquid. Always unplug the kettle before cleaning the base and electrical parts.
- When not in use, store the kettle in a dry, cool place, and ensure the power cord is safely coiled and not damaged.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Using an extension cord with the product is not recommended. However, if one must be used:
The marked electrical rating of the extension cord must be at least as great as that of the product.
○ Arrange the extension cord so that it does not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.
WARNING: This product is equipped with a 3-prong grounding plug as a safety feature. The plug will fit into an outlet in only one orientation. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the
extension cord, and the extension cord must be a 3-wire grounding-type cord. Do not attempt to bypass the safety purpose of the plug.
- The kettle is equipped with protection against dry boiling. If it is operated without water, it will automatically stop heating to prevent damage. If this occurs, unplug it from the power outlet and allow it to cool naturally before using it again. Do not use cold water to cool it directly, as this may reduce the lifespan of the heating system.

BEFORE USING THE ELECTRIC KETTLE
- Unbox the kettle carefully and inspect it for any visible damage. Ensure that all parts, including the kettle, lid, base, and power cord, are intact.
- Check that the kettle is compatible with your electrical outlet. Verify that the voltage on the kettle matches your local power supply.
- Inspect the power cord for any signs of damage, such as fraying or exposed wires. The plug should be securely attached to the cord, and the kettle should only be plugged into a grounded outlet.
- Before first use, ensure the kettle is free from packaging material, debris, or manufacturing dust. You can rinse the interior with clean water, if necessary, but avoid using any detergent.
WARNING: The kettle is not dishwasher safe.
USING THE ELECTRIC KETTLE
IMPORTANT: Upon initial use, a smoky odor may occur as protective coatings or films on the kettle's parts burn off. This is normal and ensures the proper functioning and safety of the product. It is also recommended to boil water once without adding any substances (such as tea or coffee) to help remove any manufacturing oils or residues. After the first boil, discard the water and rinse the kettle.
NOTE: You can use the tea infuser to brew tea. Simply pull the infuser out of the inner lid to the side (there is a mark indicating where to pull it out), place the dried tea leaves in the infuser, and then place the infuser back into the inner lid before turning on the kettle.
- Fill the kettle with cold, fresh water through the hole in the center of the lid. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line indicated inside the kettle, as overfilling may prevent it from functioning properly.
- Place the kettle securely on its base, ensuring it is properly seated and aligned with the electrical contacts.
- Plug the kettle into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the power cord is not tangled and is kept away from hot surfaces or water sources. Once the kettle is plugged in, a light on the control panel will turn on, and a beeping sound will be heard.
- There are 3 different steps to turning on the kettle:
a. Press the power button, and it will automatically begin heating the water to 212^ F ( 100^ C ). You can adjust the temperature while the water is heating.
b. Press the specific mode you desire, depending on what type of drink you want the water to be heated for, and the kettle will automatically begin heating the water to the specific temperature. You cannot adjust the temperature for these modes while the water is heating.
c. Press the keep warm button, then select the desired temperature. The kettle will automatically begin heating the water to the selected temperature and will enter keep-warm mode for 2 hours once that temperature is reached. After 2 hours, the kettle will automatically turn off.
- Monitor the kettle while it boils. The kettle will automatically switch off or enter keep-warm mode once the water reaches the desired temperature.
WARNING: Never attempt to open the lid or touch the kettle while it is boiling, as the steam and exterior may be very hot. Always use the handle to lift on pour.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn off the kettle and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Always ensure the kettle is turned off before unplugging.
IMPORTANT: If any water remains in the kettle, carefully pour it out. Do not leave standing water in the kettle, as it can lead to mineral buildup or bacteria growth if left for long periods.
- Let the kettle cool down before handling it. The body of the kettle and its base may be hot immediately after use. Wait a few minutes to ensure it has cooled enough for safe handling.
- Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a damp cloth to remove dust, fingerprints, or water stains. If needed, rinse the interior with clean water to remove any mineral deposits or debris. For a more thorough cleaning, refer to the descaling instructions in the manual.
- After cleaning, dry both the interior and exterior of the kettle with a clean, dry cloth. Ensure that no water remains inside the kettle before storing it.
- Store the cord neatly to prevent tangling or damage. Keep the kettle in a dry, cool place when not in use, and avoid storing it in damp areas or near heat sources.
DESCALING THE ELECTRIC KETTLE
- Descalining with vinegar
a. Mix a 1:1 ratio of white distilled vinegar and water. For example, use 1 cup of vinegar and 1 cup of water. This mixture helps break down mineral buildup.
b. Pour the vinegar-water mixture into the kettle, filling it up to the maximum fill line.
c. Turn the kettle on and allow the vinegar solution to come to a full boil. Once it reaches a boil, turn off the kettle and let the solution sit inside for about 15-30 minutes to loosen the mineral buildup.
d. After the soaking period, pour out the vinegar solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water. You may need to repeat the rinsing process a few times to remove any lingering vinegar smell.
e. For extra freshness, fill the kettle with clean water, boil it once, and discard the water to ensure no residues remain
- Descalining with citric acid
a. Dissolve 1-2 tablespoons of citric acid in about 2 cups of water. The exact amount may vary depending on the level of buildup.
b. Pour the citric acid solution into the kettle, filling it to the maximum fill line.
c. Turn the kettle on and allow the solution to come to a boil. Once it reaches a boil, turn off the kettle and let the solution sit for about 15-20 minutes.
d. After the solution has been set, pour it out and rinse the kettle with clean water. Repeat the rinsing process as necessary to remove any remaining citric acid.
e. Fill the kettle with fresh water, bring it to a boil, and discard the water to ensure there is no residual citric acid.
- Descalging with a commercial descending solution
a. Read and follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the commercial descaling product. Typically, you'll mix a specific amount of descaling solution with water.
b. Pour the prepared descending solution into the kettle, ensuring it does not exceed the maximum fill line.
c. Turn on the kettle and allow the descending solution to come to a boil. Once it reaches a boil, turn off the kettle and let the solution sit for the recommended time.
d. Once the solution has soaked and the mineral buildup has been loosened, pour out the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water.
e. To ensure the kettle is fully cleaned, fill it with fresh water, bring it to a boil, and discard the water.
