How to install my Pando I-894 hood?

Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional. Make sure the hood is firmly attached to the wall, the exhaust duct is correctly connected, and the electrical supply is compliant (220-240 V). Follow the instructions in the provided installation manual.

How to connect the hood to the Pando app?

Download the Pando Cooking app on your smartphone. Make sure the hood is in standby (motor and lights off). Choose the connection mode: WPS (via router) or direct mode (access point). Follow the steps in the app and manual.

What to do if the app cannot find the hood?

Check that the hood is in pairing mode (press ▽ for 4 seconds). Make sure your smartphone is connected to the home Wi-Fi network. Restart the app and try again. If the problem persists, reset the hood by unplugging it for 10 seconds.

How to clean the grease filters?

The metal grease filters can be cleaned in the dishwasher or by hand with warm soapy water. Let them dry completely before reinstalling. Regular cleaning (every 2-3 months) ensures good performance.

When to replace the charcoal filters?

Charcoal filters must be replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage. The app indicates the remaining hours. Use only original Pando filters (references FCA, FCRL-AE, FCCR-AE).

How to adjust the light brightness?

Via the Pando app, you can adjust the brightness from 10 to 100% and change the color temperature from 2700 K (warm white) to 6000 K (cool white). On the remote control, use the dedicated buttons.

Is the hood compatible with Alexa or Google Home?

Yes. After connecting the hood to the app, link your Pando account to Alexa or Google Home. You can then control the hood by voice command (on/off, speed, light). Configuration is done in the respective app.

How to activate the Air Clean function?

In the app, press the Air Clean button. The hood automatically starts at minimum speed for 10 minutes every hour to purify the air. You can activate/deactivate it at any time.

What to do if the hood does not turn on?

Check the circuit breaker and that the hood is plugged in. Try to reset by unplugging for 10 seconds. If nothing happens, contact the authorized Pando technical service (contact details on pando.es/fr). The warranty covers manufacturing defects.

Can I use the hood without the app?

Yes, the hood has a touch control panel with buttons to turn the motor on/off, adjust speed, and control the light. It also comes with a remote control. The app offers additional features (timer, Air Clean, filter monitoring).

INOXPAN S.L., thanks you for choosing and placing your trust in a product of our brand Pando, which is distinguished by its Quality, Design and Innovation, being faithful to its origins and commitments.

PANDO WARRANTY CONDITIONS:

This appliance is guaranteed for 3 years from the date of purchase. This warranty exclusively covers the Pando product against any manufacturing defect that affects its proper functioning. In order for the warranty to be valid, it is essential to present the invoice or purchase receipt together with a photo of the label or registration number of the product to the Pando Authorised Service technician.

During this period, the Company undertakes to replace or repair free of charge any defective part due to a defect or manufacturing defect in the appliance, until it is in proper working order, as well as the necessary labour and expenses incurred as a result of such repair or replacement.

EXCLUSIONS FROM THE PANDO WARRANTY:

The following cases will not be covered by the guarantee or could be cause for cancellation of the same, in which case the user will be responsible for the cost of materials, labour and travel expenses of the technical service:

• Installation or operation checks, cleaning or maintenance of the hood and ducts.
• Breakdowns or damage caused by not respecting or following the safety instructions, recommendations for use and maintenance in the appliance's manuals.
• When the appliance is intended for commercial or non-domestic use, for which it is not intended.
• Malfunctioning of the hood due to non-compliance with the standards, instructions and recommendations indicated in the appliance manuals.
• Problems caused by an inadequate installation of the hood or fume extraction duct.
• Breakdowns or damage caused by transport or transfer, and handling of the appliance by unauthorised personnel not authorised by this company or the Pando brand.
• Bumps, dents, scratches or scrapes, broken glass.
• Presence of foreign bodies foreign to the device, inside or outside the product.
• The hood or peripheral parts such as the external motor are not accessible because there are elements that prevent easy and safe access. The means required for the authorised Pando technician to access the appliance will be the responsibility of the user.
• Tampering with the wiring and connections of the indoor, outdoor or roof motor and the hood.
• Aesthetic, wear and tear components such as light shields, filters and lamps.
• Rust, stains, discolouration caused by improper application or unprotected exposure to corrosive elements such as cleaning products not recommended by the manufacturer and unsuitable cleaning agents, such as those containing corrosive chemicals, and exposure to sea breeze (saltpetre).
• Breakdowns or damage caused by variations in the electricity supply or fortuitous and natural causes of atmospheric or geological origin such as storms, lightning, earthquakes, floods, etc.
• Appliances from resale, second hand, trade-in or exhibitions that are more than three years old from the date of manufacture.

INOXPAN, S.L., is expressly excluded from any liability for any direct or indirect damage to persons or things caused by a product improperly installed, handled, used and/or maintained.
