2. Safety instructions for the user

General precautions during the use of electrical equipment

• Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
• Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
  • Always place the appliance on to the flat and even surface.
• This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial and only for household use.
• Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.
• The unit must be used only for the intended purposes. No liability is accepted for damages arising from improper use or wrong handling.
• Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
• Always remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children.
• Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply and let it cool down.
• The device is not completely disconnected from the power source, even after it has been turned off. To disconnect it completely, disconnect it from the mains plug.
• The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as
• Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;

Restrictions on use to avoid personal injury

• Do not let the appliance operate unattended.
• Do not place or operate this appliance near water sources.
• Do not place or operate the appliance and its power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.
• Do not leave the power cord hanging from sharp edges and keep away from hot objects and flames. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
• Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
• The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
• When you want to remove the plug from the wall contact, please do this at the plug itself and not by pulling on the cable or the appliance itself.
• To avoid electric shock, make sure your hands are dry before plugging or unplugging.
• Do not use the device with wet hands, on damp floors or when the atmosphere is humid, there is a risk of electric shock.
• While using the appliance, make sure that the power cord must not be caught or crushed.
• Be careful, while handling electrical appliances, as the surface of the heating element is subject to residual heat after use. Any misuse may cause potential injury to the user and may
• damage the appliance.
• Do not touch the outer surface of the appliance as it can get very hot during operation. Instead, use the handle or mitts.
• Never immerse the appliance or the plug-in water or any other liquid. In the event of the appliance
• falling in water, disconnect immediately from the mains supply and take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.
• Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
• Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. In case of the cord be damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid Hazard.
• In case of appliance malfunction, or if it has been damaged in any manner, return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

Restrictions on use when used with children and elders

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with re-duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

Instructions to follow when using the appliance

• Your supply socket must be properly earthed.
• Clean the water container before the first usage.
• During use, the product must be located in a position, which is not easily reached by children, and the cover should be securely closed to avoid spillage of boiling water.
• This product should only be used to boil water. Please do not boil other liquids such as milk and coffee.
• Fill with water according to the pre-set water level with minimum level at "MIN" and maximum level at "MAX".
• Switch off and unplug from the outlet before filling, emptying or cleaning, or when not in use.
• If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
• Do not operate or place any part of this appliance on or near hot surfaces (such as gas or electric burner or in a heated oven).
• Avoid touching the surface of the hot kettle, use the handle and knobs.
• To avoid possible steam damage, do not face the spout when operating the kettle.
• If operated on wood furniture, use a protective pad to prevent damage to delicate finishes.

• To avoid scalding, always ensure the lid is correctly positioned before operation.

• Scalding may occur if the lid is removed while heating.

• Carefully open the lid when it is hot.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving the kettle containing hot water. Never lift the kettle by its lid. Always use the body handle.

- Do not switch your kettle on if it is empty.

- To protect from electrical hazard, do not immerse this kettle, power base or cord set in any liquid.

- To protect against fire, do not operate it in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.

- Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water; the boil-dry protection will automatically switch it off. If this should occur, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.

- Avoid spillage on the connector.

- To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit.

- A short power supply cord is provided with this product. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:

- The marked electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as that of the product.

- Arrange the extension cord so that it does not hang where it can be tripped over or pulled unintentionally.

Kindly refer to the cleaning and maintenance section for details on how to clean surfaces which comes in the contact of food.

5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. This product display is a combination of touch buttons and LED lights.
2. Every time there is a prompt sound when any button is pressed and Two prompts of finishing the function.
3. We can press “+” and “-” buttons to change the menu function displayed in the digital panel. There are 8 menu functions. 7 menu function can be selected with the help of these buttons and Keep warm function if default function for all the menu functions.
   Note: In Keep warm function the only button can be used is Start /Stop button. 4. While boiling water, digital display shows change in the temperature by 1°C or 1°F.
4. Once the water gets boiled and reached at boiling temperature unit emits prompt sound and enters automatically into the Keep Warm function.
5. Start / Stop button: Start and stop button can be used to start and stop any menu function.
6. Temperature calibration: While heating to a certain temperature, menu function stop heating for 0 – 60 seconds to calibrate the temperature and to give the accurate temperature information.
7. Change in Temperature unit: To change the temperature unit from °C to °F or Vice versa, Press and hold "+" and "-" button simultaneously for 3 seconds.

BEFORE USING YOUR KETTLE

If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you should clean your kettle before use by boiling the water and then discarding twice with max. quantity. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.

⚠NOTE: The max capacity of kettle is 1.7L.

BOIL-DRY PROTECTION

Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the function of boil-dry protection will automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool prior to filling with cold water before re-boiling.

USING YOUR ELECTRIC KETTLE

1. Place the kettle on the flat surface.
2. To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and remove the lid handle to open the lid, then fill the kettle with the desired amount of water and close the lid. The water level must be within the Min and the Max level. Too little water will cause the kettle switching off before the water has boiled.
   NOTE: Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before plugging the power outlet.

3. Position the kettle on the power base.

4. Once the water arrives at boing temperature, lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water.

NOTE: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scald, besides, don't open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.

1. The kettle will not re-boil until the switch is pressed again. The kettle may be stored on the power base when not in use.

NOTE: Always disconnect the power supply when not use.

1. In order to operate the kettle, select the menu function, by pressing "+" And "-" buttons other than keep warm function
2. To start the heating process press, start button and kettle start heating according to the temperatures of selected functions.
3. In the process of boiling water and heating, press button + and - to switch between different teas function. The buzzer will emit prompt sound for 3 seconds after pressing the buttons and tea function get changes.
4. Keep warm: After the water temperature of tea reaches the final temperature, the unit automatically enters into the keep warm function mode as default function and the duration of keep warm will last 60min. to cancel the keep warm function press Start / Stop function and kettle enters into normal working mode.
5. Memory function: This kettle has memory function under uninterrupted power supply.
6. Standby mode: In stand by state all the lights and digital display turns off. Also, in following conditions unit enters into the standby mode automatically.

1) After 60min of keep warm model, kettle enters standby state automatically.
2) If there is not any operation for 60 seconds, kettle enters into standby state.
3) When in standby mode, press any button to bring the kettle into to active state;

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and cool it down completely before cleaning.

1. Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts.
2. Wipe the appearance of body with a damp cloth or cleaner, never use a poisonous cleaner.

CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle to prevent the gloss loss.

REMOVAL OF MINERAL DEPOSITS

Your kettle should be periodically descaled as the mineral deposits in tap water may form scale on the bottom of kettle so as to cause the operation less efficiency. You can use the commercially available de-scaler and follow the instructions on the package of de-scaler. Alternatively, you may follow below instructions using the white vinegar.

1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then adding water to the amount so as to cover the bottom of kettle completely. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
2. Then discard the mixture in the kettle, then filling the kettle with clean water to the maximum position, boiling and then discard the water. Repeat several times until the odour of vinegar has been flushes away. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.

Cleaning the filter

Remember to clean the filter with a wild and damp cloth at intervals.

Storage

When not in use or storage, the power cord may be wound around the cord storage under the base of kettle. Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.

1. Ovaj proizvod ima kombinaciju tipki na dodir i LED svjetala.
2. Svaki put kad se pritisne bilo koji gumb, čuje se zvučni signal, a dva zvučna signala se emitiraju kada se funkcija završi.
3. Pomoću gumba “+” i “-” možemo promijeniti funkciju izbornika prikazanu na digitalnom panelu. Postoji 8 funkcija izbornika. 7 funkcija izbornika može se odabrati pomoću ovih gumba, dok je funkcija održavanja topline zadana funkcija za sve funkcije izbornika.
   Napomena: U funkciji održavanja topline jedini gumb koji se može koristiti je gumb za početak/zaustavljanje.
4. Tijekom vrenja vode, digitalni zaslon prikazuje promjenu temperature za 1°C ili 1°F.
5. Kada voda zavrije i dosegne temperaturu vrenja, uređaj emitira zvučni signal i automatski prelazi u funkciju održavanja topline.
6. Gumb za početak/zaustavljanje: Ovaj gumb može se koristiti za pokretanje i zaustavljanje bilo koje funkcije izbornika.
7. Kalibracija temperature: Tijekom zagrijavanja do određene temperature, funkcija izbornika zaustavlja zagrijavanje na 0 – 60 sekundi radi kalibracije temperature i pružanja točnih informacija o temperaturi.
8. Promjena jedinice temperature: Za promjenu jedinice temperature s °C na °F ili obrnuto, pritisnite i držite gumbe "+" i "-" istovremeno 3 sekunde.

PRIJE KORIŠTENJA VAŠEG ČAJNIKA

Ako koristite čajnik prvi put, preporučuje se da ga očistite prije upotrebe tako što ćete dva puta prokuhati vodu s maksimalnom količinom, a zatim je izliti. Obrišite površinu vlažnom krpom.
