How to turn the earbuds on and off?

To turn on the earbuds, open the charging case. They will turn on automatically. To turn them off, put both earbuds back into the case and close it.

How to connect the earbuds to my phone for the first time?

Enable Bluetooth on your phone, remove the earbuds from the case, then select SOGO SS-8185 from the list of available devices to pair them.

How to control volume and playback?

To increase volume, click once on the MFB button of the right earbud. To decrease, click once on the left. Double-click on either to play/pause.

How to activate noise cancellation (ANC)?

Press and hold the MFB button on the left earbud for 2 seconds to switch between normal mode, ANC on, and transparency.

How to use the Siri voice assistant?

Press and hold the MFB button on the right earbud for 2 seconds to activate Siri or your phone's voice assistant.

How to recharge the earbuds and case?

Place the earbuds in the charging case. Connect the case with a USB Type-C cable to a 5V/500mA-1A charger. Charging time is about 1.5 to 2 hours.

What to do if the earbuds do not connect?

Make sure the earbuds are charged and your phone's Bluetooth is on. If the problem persists, forget the device in Bluetooth settings and re-pair.

What is the battery life of the earbuds?

The earbuds provide 6 hours of playback per charge. With the charging case, you get a total battery life of 24 hours.

How to clean and maintain the earbuds?

Clean the earbuds with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners. Avoid contact with water.

2. GENERAL PRECAUTIONS

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER

I. Restrictions

• Never immerse the device or the charging cable in water or any other liquid. In the event of the speaker falling in water, take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.
• Do not place or operate the device on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.
• In case of hardware problems, do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified technicians.
• Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
• The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or irreparable damage to the product.
• Do not use the device for any purpose other than described in this manual.
• Do not leave the device charging longer than recommended by the manufacturer, as this may damage the battery or the device itself.
• Do not use the device while it is charging, as this may also damage the device.
• Do not drop, disassemble, deform, modify, or insert any objects into this product, as this may result in damage.
• Do not attempt to repair, modify, or disassemble the product yourself. This product does not contain any user-serviceable components, and doing so may void the warranty.
• Do not clean the product with alcohol, ammonia-based cleaners, or abrasive cleaners.
• Do not place this product in contact with any sharp objects, as this may cause scratches and damage.
• Do not attempt to replace the product battery; it is built-in and not user-replaceable.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be performed by children.

II. Precautions while using this device

• Earbuds should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment to avoid contact with oil, steam, moisture, dust, etc., to avoid affecting product performance.
• Avoid using irritating organic solvents or items containing these ingredients to clean the earbuds.
• Earbuds should be used correctly and in a standardized manner as required, and attention should be paid to the impact of their use on the surrounding environment. To ensure a smooth connection, the distance between the phone and the earbuds should not exceed 10 meters.
• If the earbuds have other problems such as poor connection or communication, please do not

disassemble the earbuds body and accessories without permission, otherwise the warranty will not be granted.

• Please choose a standard charger to charge the earbuds.
• To ensure your normal use of the earbuds, please ensure that the earbuds have sufficient power.
• Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, moisture, sand, dust, or mechanical shock; never leave the products directly in the sun.
• In case of lightning, immediately take off the earphones.
• You may not hear some warning sounds while wearing these earphones.
• Prolonged exposure to high sound levels may permanently damage your hearing.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

- To avoid possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume for long periods of time. Please set the volume to a safe level and understand that the louder the volume is, the shorter the safe listening time.

- Do not turn up the volume so high that you cannot hear the ambient sound.

- You should temporarily refrain from using it in potentially hazardous situations (such as lightning, rain, extreme heat).

4. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

BEFORE FIRST USE:

In order to have a good experience, please charge the charging case and the earbuds before using them. The screen will light up to exit the storage mode.

Charging LED:

When we connect the charger, the LED display will light up and battery symbol turns to yellow colour. It shows battery level percentage.

Note:

You must select a qualified charger from a regular manufacturer. (Charging Voltage: 5V Charging Current: 500mAh to 1A for charging case). A fully charged earbud will lose its power automatically if left unused. It is recommended to charge the headset each three months. Do no leave the headset in a too hot or too cold condition (best between – 10°C and 55°C) which may affect the headset's operations although it is fully charged. Please take out of the headsets from the charging base and store it separately if not to use for a long time. Do not dispose of the earbud into fire or water.

HOW TO USE:

Power On:

Open the charging case, the earbuds will power on automatically.

Power OFF:

Put both the earbuds back into the charging case and as soon as you close the charging case, earbuds will be turned off automatically.

Connecting Earbuds to your Phone:

1. Turn the Bluetooth of your mobile phone ON and then take the earbuds out from the charging case.
2. When connecting the earbuds to a phone for the first time, search for the Bluetooth name (SOGO SS-8185) in the list of available Bluetooth devices on the phone. Tap this name to pair the earbuds with the phone.
3. To connect the earbuds to a previously connected phone, simply take them out of the charging case, and they will automatically connect to the last paired device.

HOW TO OPERATE:

1- Previous Song: Tap the MFB (Multi-function button) 3 times on the left earbud. 2- Next Song: Tap the MFB 3 times on the right earbud. 3- Reject Call: Press and hold the MFB for 2 seconds on either earbud. 4- Voice Assistant / Siri: Press and hold the MFB for 2 seconds on the right earbud. 5- ANC Mode: Press and hold the MFB for 2 seconds on the

left earbud to cycle through Normal Mode, ANC On, and Transparency Mode.

6- Volume +/-: Single tap the MFB on the right earbud to increase volume, and on the left earbud to decrease volume. 7- Play/Pause: Double tap the MFB on either earbud to pause or play the song. 8- Answer Call: Double tap the MFB on either earbud to answer a call. 9- End Call: Double tap the MFB on either earbud to end a call.

5. DISPOSAL OF ELECTRONIC GOODS

Do not dispose the battery-operated units as normal rubbish, always these should be recycled in proper manner and according to the local municipal laws.
