When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully before you use the appliance.
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only. No responsibility is accepted for damage resulting from use non-compatible with the instructions.
- To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put the HAND MIXER in water or other liquid.
- Do not operate the hand mixer with wet hands.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Keep children away from the appliance.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
- Unplug before inserting or removing parts.
- Avoid contacting moving parts.
- Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from the beaters during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons, and/or damaged to the mixer.

Remove the beaters or dough hooks from the hand mixer before washing them.

Do not continuously operate the hand mixer for too long. The motor may over heat.
For 1 – 5 speed continuous working time must be less than 5 minutes. For Turbo speed the continuous working time must be less than 1 minute. - Do not use the beaters to mix very hard ingredients.
- Do not let the electric cable come in contact with any hot surface (like a heated stove).
- Do not let cord contact hot surface, including the stove.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
- Do not put it in water.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Household use only.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- Switch off the appliance before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
- The unit should not be used with individual timer or remote control.
- Do not press eject button while the mixer is in operation.
IMPORTANT
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. - This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children
CAUTION
- Before using your appliance for the first time, clean the various accessories carefully with hot soapy water.
• After 5 minutes of continuous use, allow a few minutes rest before next use. - Do not operate more than 5 minutes at one time (and with Turbo switch not more than 1 min at one time).

HOW TO PREPARE FOR USE
- Check that the hand mixer cord and plug is not connected to any power outlet and the speed switch is in the "0" (OFF) position, then holding each beater /dough hook by the stem gently push into sockets on the underside of unit. If necessary, rotate the beater /dough hook by hand until both lock firmly into place. Looking at the underside of the mixer unit, pls make sure that the beater/dough hook with the gear mechanism goes in the left hand position (viewed from the back).
- Fit the hand mixer on to the stand by sliding the front of the mixer onto the tab at the front of the stand, push down gently on the top of the mixer to clip into the locking mechanism.
- Push the tilt control button on the side of stand and pull the mixer head back.
- Then put the plastic bowl in place.
- Lower the mixer back into its horizontal position by pushing the tilt control button.
- When the beaters are firmly located inside the bowl, plug the unit into the power outlet.
- If using the unit as a hand mixer only, first remove the plug from the power outlet. Then press the tilt stand button on the side to lift it away from the bowl and then remove the mixer head from the stand by pressing the mixer release button located on the back of the stand.

- Once the ingredients are in the bowl, select the speed required by moving the speed selector with your thumb. The speed may be changed at any time even while the mixer is operating.
- The bowl will rotate automatically for hands free operation.
- To ensure all ingredients are thoroughly mixed, use a spatula to scrape the sides of the mixing bowl from time to time.
- To prevent spattering keep the beaters dipped into the mixture and always switch the mixer off before lifting the beaters from the mixture.
¡IMPORTANT!
To avoid unnecessary strain on the motor, do not use the mixer for any mixture in which the beaters/dough hooks do not revolve freely.
REMOVING THE BEATERS AND DOUGH HOOKS
Disconnect the unit from the power outlet. Raise the hand mixer by pressing the tilt control button (on the side of stand). Push the beater /dough hook ejector button down fully with your thumb, unlocking and ejecting both beaters / dough hooks.
CLEANING
- Unplug the appliance.
- Clean the body of the appliance using only a damp cloth.
- Clean the beaters or dough hooks under running water or in the dishwasher. Rinse and dry.
- On completion of using your appliance it is strongly recommended that you clean the accessories immediately. This will remove any clinging food from the accessories, preventing drying up of the residual food. It makes cleaning easier and to avoid the possibility of bacterial growth.
