USER MANUAL AEC2000 BESTRON

• This appliance is not intended for professional use, but is intended for domestic and similar use, such as in staff kitchens, in shops, offices and other working environments, by guests in hotels, motels and other residential environments, in Bed & Breakfast type environments and farms.
• Make sure that the mains voltage matches with the voltage shown on the rating plate.
• Always install the appliance on a stable and level surface where it cannot fall over.
• Parts of this appliance may become warm or hot. Avoid burning yourself. Do not touch.
• Your hands must be dry when you touch this appliance, it's cord and plug.
• This appliance must lose its heat so give it sufficient clearance around it. Also do not cover it.
• This appliance, it's cord and plug may not come into contact with water.
• Do not touch this appliance if it have been in contact with water. Immediately unplug it.
  This appliance, it's cord and plug may not come into contact with heat sources or open fire.
• Never let the cord hang over the edge of the sink, a worktop or a table.
• Always remove the plug from the socket when you are not using the electrical appliance.
• Remove the plug from the socket by pulling the plug itself and not the cord.
• Do not use the electrical appliance if the cord is damaged.
• Do not switch on this appliance with an external timer or a separate remote controlled system.
• If the appliance or cord is defective, do not attempt to repair it yourself. Always have repairs carried out by a qualified technician. It must be replaced by the manufacturer, a technical service provider or a person with equivalent qualifications, to avoid any danger.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards.
• Children are not allowed to clean and maintain the appliance, except if they are over the age of 8 years old and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and the cable out of reach of children under the age of 8 years old.
  Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Be careful not to burn yourself when steam escapes from the appliance.
• The lid must remain tightly closed while the appliance is in use.
• Handle the measuring cup carefully, it contains the egg piercer at the bottom.
• Never use the egg boiler without water. Only fill it with cold water.

ENVIRONMENT

Dispose of packaging material such as plastic and cardboard boxes in the designated containers.

Do not dispose of this product as normal domestic waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at a collection point for the reuse of electric and electronic equipment. Look for the symbol on the product, the user instructions or the packaging showing the type of waste.

OPERATION - General information

The following description is associated with the image on page 2:

FOR FIRSTUSE

Remove the packaging material and clean the device (see "Cleaning and maintenance").

BOILING EGGS

1. Fill the heating plate with 150ml water using the measuring cup.
2. Use the egg piercer on the bottom of the measuring cup to make a hole in the eggs. This is to prevent the egg from bursting.
3. Place the eggs on the egg stand and close the lid.
4. Insert the plug into the wall socket.

5. Use the on/off adjustment button to select the preferred type of boiled eggs. The indicator light will light up.

7. for a semi-soft-boiled egg

8. for a hard-boiled egg

9. When the eggs are ready, the device emits a signal and the indicator light goes out.

10. Remove the eggs and rinse them in cold water or under a cold tap.
11. Remove the plug from the wall socket.
12. Now the eggs can be served.

Attention:

After the cooking process, the remaining water in the cooking bowl should be removed.
- The egg piercer is sharp, be careful not to hurt yourself!

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Clean the lid, egg tray and stainless steel heating plate with a damp cloth.
2. Dry the device thoroughly.

Attention:

• Make sure that no moisture gets into the electrical connections.
• Never put the device in a dishwasher.
• Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects for cleaning.

Depending on the hardness of the water, limescale deposits can occur on the stainless steel heating plate. Therefore, clean the stainless steel heating plate regularly. Fill the measuring cup with some cleaning vinegar and add water until the measuring cup is full. Pour this mixture into the stainless steel heating plate. Let the mixture stand for 30 minutes without turning on the egg cooker. Pour the mixture from the stainless steel heating plate. Dry the stainless steel heating plate thoroughly.
