WARNING

The unit is only intended for domestic/private use, not for commercial use.
This device may be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the device safely, and are fully aware of the consequent risks of use.
Children must not play with the device.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless supervised.
- If the mains connection cable of this device is damaged, it must be disposed of. If it cannot be removed, the device must be disposed of.

Important safety notes - before use

Warning

• The device is only intended for the purpose described in these instructions for use. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper or careless use. This device is not suitable for commercial use or for use in the medical domain. Only use the device in the private domain.
• Repairs may only be conducted by authorised service centres, as special tools and/or parts are necessary for repair, otherwise the guarantee is invalidated.
• Do not use the device if you suffer from/exhibit heart disease, flushed skin, inflammations,
  swelling, sensitive areas, diabetes, wounds, burns, eczema or psoriasis
• If you are pregnant or suffer from health problems, please consult your doctor before using the device.
  Children do not recognise the danger posed by electrical devices. Make sure that the device
  cannot be used by children without supervision.
• Check that the device and the mains cable are in perfect working order before each usage. In the event of damage, the device must not be used.
• Before connecting the device to the mains, check whether the local mains voltage corresponds to the voltage specified on the device.
• Do not use the device near to water (e.g. bath, wash basin etc.).
• Do not use the device while bathing, showering or sleeping.
• Never place the device in water or other liquids. Store the device in a safe place.
• Never place the device on surfaces that are sensitive to water.
• Keep the device and mains cable away from hot surfaces.

Important safety notes - during use

Warning

• Should a fault occur during use, switch off the device immediately and remove the mains plug from the socket.
• During the treatment, do not position your face closer than 25~cm to the nozzle, otherwise the hot steam could cause burn injuries. Close your eyes during the treatment and protect heat-sensitive zones.
• Do not use the device for periods of longer than 15 minutes.
• Never shake the device during use. You could sustain scald or burn injuries.
  If pain or discomfort occurs, terminate the treatment and consult your doctor.
• Never use the device under a blanket or towel etc.
• Remove jewellery from the face and neck before use.
• Should the device accidentally fall into water, disconnect the mains plug immediately. Have the device checked by a qualified electrician before it is used again.

Important safety notes - after use

Important

• Switch off the device after use and remove the mains plug from the socket.
• Never remove the mains plug from the socket by pulling on the cable or with damp hands.
• The device must be cleaned after use to prevent the accumulation of grease and other residues. This ensures optimum effectiveness and increases the service life of the device.
• Allow the device to cool down completely before using again.

3. Getting to know your instrument

The ionic facial sauna ionic Sauna offers the perfect basis for facial beauty treatment. The skin on your face is optimally prepared for further treatments, such as deep cleansing, face masks etc. At beauty salons, the professionals often begin facial treatments with a steam treatment. The steam stimulates blood circulation and opens pores, allowing impurities to be removed more easily.

This creates the perfect starting point for all types of facial care. Because the pores are open, they allow the beauty products to penetrate deep into the skin and optimise their effectiveness. Furthermore, the ionic Sauna ionic facial sauna features an integrated ion generator, which enriches the emitted water molecules with ions, making the steam even finer. Ions therefore result in hydration of the face that penetrates even deeper, creating a smoother top layer of skin and improving the structure of the dermal tissue.

4. Intended use

This device is intended exclusively for use on the face of humans. Do not use the device on animals!

6. Initial use

·Place the device on a flat, secure, even and water-resistant surface or table. Under no circumstances should you hold the device in your hand during operation.
Important ·Only operate the device with distilled water! Do not use tap water, as this can cause the build-up of limescale in the device and impair its functionality and service life. Do not use any oils, herbs or other flavouring agents instead of water. ·Fill the supplied measuring jug with distilled water.	Distilled water ↓
·Remove the tank and open the screwed plug.
·Using the measuring jug, pour the distilled water slowly and carefully into the water tank until it at least reaches the "min" level but no further than the "max" mark.When filled to the maximum level, the amount of water is sufficient for a treatment lasting approximately 15 minutes. Close the water tank securely with the screwed plug.

• Insert the water tank back into the device until it audibly clicks into place.
• Adjust the angle of the nozzle to the required height. Important Do not adjust the nozzle when the device is in use! You could sustain burn injuries to the hand.
• Wash your face with a damp cloth before using the device.

7. Operation

Do not use the ionic facial sauna for more than 15 minutes per day. It is recommended that two to three treatments are performed per week.

After you have made the necessary preparations described in "Section 6. Initial use", you may start the treatment.

To start the treatment, carry out the following steps:

·Connect the mains plug to the socket and press the ON/OFF button. The indicator lamp begins to light up blue and the ion function is activated. The device starts to heat the distilled water. After approximately 30 seconds, steam begins to flow from the nozzle. After approximately 1 minute, the steam is strong enough and you can begin the treatment. ·By pressing the ON/OFF button again, the indicator lamp lights up red and the ion function is deactivated.

·Move your face slowly towards the flow of steam so that the steam covers your entire face. The steam should feel pleasant and not too hot. If you feel the steam is too hot, move further away from the nozzle to prevent burn injuries. Warning Ensure that your face does not get closer than 25 cm to the nozzle. Otherwise there is a danger of your facial skin becoming red or sustaining burn injuries.

The device shuts off automatically if there is no water left in the device or after 15 minutes. Remove the mains plug from the socket.
- After the treatment, wash your face with cold water. Now apply a facial cream or face mask. The open pores allow the active agents to penetrate deep into the skin.
- Allow the device to cool down for 10 minutes. Afterwards, clean the device as described in Section "8. Cleaning".

8. Cleaning

Prior to cleaning, make sure that the mains plug has been removed from the socket.
After each use, empty and clean the water tank and remove any grease or other residue.
- The water tank is dishwasher-safe and can be cleaned in a dishwasher if required.
After cleaning, place the water tank back in the device.
Clean the nozzle and the base device with a soft, slightly damp cloth and then wipe dry.

9. Disposal

For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at all of its useful life. Dispose of the unit at a suitable local collection or recycling point. It is
of the device in accordance with EC Directive - WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.
