Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the appliance marking and that the wall outlet is earthed.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service or similar qualified personnel to avoid risks.
- Do not immerse the cord or any part of the product in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
- If the appliance falls accidentally into water, unplug it immediately. Do not touch the water!

Do not operate the device if any fault or unusual sign is detected.

Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and other parts of the body away from the openings and moving parts of the device.
- Make sure the appliance is placed on a flat and stable surface during operation.
- Do not use the device next to windows, as exposure to rain could cause electric shock.
- Do not operate the product under or next to curtains.
- Do not cover the grilles and do not place the product cord under carpets or other objects during operation. Keep the sides, front, and back of the appliance at a minimum safety distance of 20 cm from any object or wall.
- Always turn off and unplug the device when not in use and before moving it to a new location. Pull from the plug, not the cable, to disconnect it from the outlet.
Battery instructions
- Do not allow children to replace the battery without adult supervision.
- Do not disassemble, open, or break secondary batteries.
- Keep the batteries out of the reach of children. Pay particular attention to small batteries. In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately.
- Do not expose batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.

Batteries may leak under extreme conditions. In the event of a battery leak, keep your skin and eyes away from the liquid. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.

Children must be supervised if they handle the battery.
- In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately.
- Secondary batteries must be charged before use. Always use the specified charger and refer to these instructions.
- Do not leave the battery on prolonged charge when not in use.
- After long periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.
- Keep this instruction manual for future reference.
- Use the battery only for its intended purpose, i.e., for use with this appliance.
- Dispose of the battery properly.
- Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

- The fan is folded, pull from the support tube to unfold it.
- Move the fan in the direction of the arrow shown in figure 2.
- The clamping system shall be adjusted automatically. The fan angle shall be 90°.
- You can move the fan 180^ to the left/right and up/down.
- Press the oscillation button to activate/deactivate the oscillation function. If you press the power button, the indicator light will show the battery level; if you press it again, the fan will switch on. Pressing it a third time will allow you to set the speed (1-4). If you have selected speed 4 and then press the button again, the fan will switch off.
- The fan height can be adjusted.
- To fold up the fan again, raise the clamping system as shown in figure 2.
- Then, fold down the support tube and fold the fan as shown in the figure.
- Finally, press the fan grille with both hands. To open, press it and turn it counterclockwise.
Battery removal
To facilitate proper recycling of the product, follow these steps to remove the battery:
- Remove the centre piece from the base as shown in figure 3.
- Remove the four screws that are exposed by removing the previous part.
- Remove the base.
- Remove the two screws holding the battery.
- Disconnect the battery using pliers and remove the battery for proper recycling.
NOTE:
Removal of the battery should only be done for the purpose of recycling the appliance.
Replacing the remote-control battery
The remote control requires 1 x CR2025 battery.
- Open the battery compartment.
- Insert the battery into the battery compartment observing the polarity.
- Close the compartment.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the fan, make sure that it is not connected to the mains, that it is not running and that the blades are completely stopped.
Clean the external surface of the fan with a soft cloth.

- The grille can be removed for cleaning dust. The inside of the fan can be cleaned with a dry cloth, do not get it wet.
- After cleaning the grille, dry it and replace it by turning it clockwise.

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

This symbol indicates that, according to the applicable regulations, the product and/or batteries must be disposed of separately from household waste. When this product reaches the end of its shelf life, you should dispose of the cells/batteries/accumulators and take them to a collection point designated by the local authorities.
Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.
