How to use the UFESA Persei heater?

Remove the device from its packaging. Plug it into a compatible mains socket. Turn it on by selecting one of the 3 speeds using the selector (C). Set the desired temperature with the thermostat (D). The device automatically stops when the temperature is reached and restarts if it drops.

What are the important safety instructions?

Never cover the device. Do not use it in a bathroom, under a shower, or near a swimming pool. Keep children under 3 years away. Children aged 3 to 8 can only use the On/Off button under supervision. Some parts can become very hot: beware of burns. Do not use the device in a room smaller than 4 m².

What to do if the device does not work?

First check that the device is powered on (the speed selector must be on a position other than 0). Make sure the temperature set on the thermostat is higher than the room temperature. How to adjust the temperature?

Turn the thermostat knob (D) to select the desired temperature. The device heats up until it reaches this temperature, then stops automatically. When the room temperature drops, it restarts to maintain the setpoint.

What does the 'do not cover' symbol mean?

The symbol (a crossed-out square) means it is forbidden to cover the device. Covering it could cause overheating and fire. Never place clothes, towels, or other objects on the heater.

How can I repair the device if it breaks down?

Only specialized and authorized technicians are qualified to repair this device. Any unauthorized repair voids the warranty and may be dangerous. Contact the B&B TRENDS after-sales service or the point of sale to be directed to an authorized center.

GENERAL INFORMATION

First check that the appliance is complete and undamaged. Contact the store where you purchased the product in the event of any doubt.

With your purchase you have acquired:

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

If the cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service department or by qualified persons to avoid a hazard.

WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not co-

ver the heater. Heater must be not located immediately below socket outlet. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

Children under 3 should be kept away from the appliance unless they are constantly supervised.

Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulated and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

CAUTION: Some parts of the appliance can become very hot and cause burns. When children and vulnerable people are present special attention should be paid.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The safety instructions marked at the beginning of this manual must be followed at all times when using this product.

Follow the instructions below in order to switch on the appliance:

1. Remove the product from its original packaging taking special care not to damage any of its parts. Do not use excessive force to remove the product from the box.
2. Switch on the appliance by selecting from the three speed settings (C).
3. Adjust the temperature using the thermostat control (D). The unit will be turned off automatically once it has reached the selected temperature. If the temperature of the room drops the product will turn back on, thus keeping the temperature selected by the thermostat.

Repair:

- Only specialized personnel should perform repairs to this electrical appliance. Any incorrectly performed repair can lead to considerable hazards for the user. In the event of repair, please always contact our aftersales service. Failure to observe these instructions will lead to the total loss of the product warranty.

CLEANING AND MANTENANCE

Unplug the device when you do not intend to use the product for an extended period of time to prolong its shelflife.

Let it cool down before storing it. This product can only be cleaned by hand, using a soft damp cloth and mild soap. The use of abrasive cleaning products or brushes, solvents, benzine, thinner or alcohol is completely prohibited. Never immerse the appliance or any of its parts in water or excessively moisten it in order to clean it. Do not reuse the appliance until it is completely dry. Make sure there are no obstructions or dirt build-up on the air inlet or outlet of the device.

PRODUCT DISPOSAL

This product complies with European Directive 2012/19/EU on electrical and electronic devices, known as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), provides the legal framework applicable in the European Union for the disposal and reuse of waste electronic and electrical devices.
