Safety Information

Failure to follow all warnings and instructions could result in SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.

Read these instructions carefully before using this product. To ensure proper use, store this user guide in a convenient place so it can be consulted often.

• Never leave child unattended in the stroller or infant car seat.
• Always follow the infant car seat manufacturer's instructions. Do not exceed the manufacturer's instructions for maximum load carrying capacity of the infant car seat. Exceeding carrying capacity may cause the stroller to become unstable and tip resulting in serious injury.
• Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use harness to secure child.
• Avoid finger entrapment or injury. Always ensure any child occupants or bystanders are away from the stroller while attaching infant car seat adapter.
• Do not modify the infant car seat adapter or remove any labels. Doing so voids the warranty and could lead to a dangerous condition.
• Do not fold stroller with infant car seat adapter (ICSA), arm bar, or arm bar receiver attached.
  Periodically check attachment by lifting up on ICSA, arm bar, or car seat.

• Only use Britax infant car seats with this product. See page 5. For your child's safety, ensure that the infant car seat you are using is securely attached to the infant car seat adapter.

• All infant car seats MUST be installed rear facing.

• Failure to regularly inspect this product and its components to make sure they are in good condition and good working order can result in injury. Discontinue use of infant car seat adapter, receivers, arm bar, or child tray if damaged or any parts are missing.

Important Notes

• Always keep your infant car seat carry handle locked in the vertical/carry position while in stroller, as extra protection for your child.
• Do not place children directly in the stroller seat with the infant car seat adapter installed. Remove infant car seat adapter from stroller prior to placing a child directly into the stroller seat.

Compatibility

This infant car seat adapter is designed for use with Britax B-Lively Double strollers only.

This infant car seat adapter is designed for use with Britax/BOB infant car seats.

Do not use with infant car seats other than those specifically mentioned. See us.britax.com for additional information.

Installing Your ICSA

Attaching ICSA to Stroller

WARNING!

Failure to attach ICSA securely to stroller may result in serious injury or death.

NOTE: Adapter is for right side of stroller only, from the position of the occupant.

1. Set parking brake (see stroller user guide if necessary).
2. Remove canopy.

a. Disconnect hook and loop fasteners on sides of canopy.

b. Unfasten straps on both sides at back of canopy.

c. Twist canopy brackets to remove canopy from stroller frame.
3. Align ICSA receivers with the mounts on the inside of the stroller frame and push down until a click is heard.
4. Pull up on front tube of ICSA to verify ICSA is securely locked into place.

Installing the Arm Bar

1. Slide receiver into the mount on the inside of the left side of stroller.
2. Insert arm bar into receiver sockets. A click will be heard. Pull on arm bar to verify it is securely attached.

Attach Child Tray

1. Push child tray onto exposed area of arm bar until it locks into place. A click will be heard.

1. Pull up on child tray to verify it is secure.

Installing the Infant Car Seat

WARNING!

Failure to securely attach infant car seat and properly secure infant with seat harness of infant car seat may result in serious injury or death.

NOTE: When attaching infant car seat to ICSA for the first time, practice attaching and removing unoccupied infant car seat several times until the function becomes familiar.

1. Place infant into infant car seat. Fasten harness securely (see infant car seat user guide if necessary).
2. Move infant car seat carry handle into upright, carrying position.
3. Set parking brake (see stroller user guide if necessary).
4. Place infant car seat rear facing, align infant car seat with ICSA, and push down until the infant car seat locks into place. A click will be heard on both sides.
5. Lift up on both sides of the infant car seat to verify that it is securely attached.

Removing Infant Car Seat from Stroller

1. Set parking brake (see stroller user guide if necessary).
2. Activate Click & Go release handle on infant car seat then lift infant car seat straight up and off stroller with infant car seat carry handle.

Removing ICSA and Arm Bar from Stroller

1. Set parking brake (see stroller user guide if necessary).

2. Remove arm bar by pushing buttons under receivers and pulling arm bar away from stroller.

3. Press the release levers on the sides of the ICSA receivers and the arm bar receiver, and pull receivers up and out of mounting brackets.

NOTE: The release lever on the arm bar receiver is on the inside of the receiver.

1. Install canopy.

a. Place the canopy stay bracket over the mounting pin on the side of the stroller frame and rotate until the canopy stay bracket locks into place NOTE: There is a left and a right canopy. Install each canopy so that the canopy brackets face the outside of the stroller frame.
b. Snap the outer support strap to the frame on the outside of the stroller handle, and tighten the support strap by connecting it to the hook and loop fastener under the canopy flap.
c. Insert the inner support strap through the slot at the center of the stroller handlebar. Tighten the support strap by connecting them to the hook and loop fasteners under the canopy flap.
d. Attach the hook and loop fasteners around the outer edge of the canopy and hood to the stroller.

Warranty

This product is distributed by Britax Child Safety, Inc. ("Britax"). To the extent allowed by law, Britax warrants this product to the original retail purchaser as follows:

Limited Two-Year Warranty

This product is warranted against defective materials or workmanship for two years from the date of original purchase. Proof of purchase is required. Your exclusive remedy for this warranty is that Britax will, at its option, provide repair or replacement components to the original purchaser for this product or replace the product. Britax reserves the right to discontinue or change fabrics, parts, models or products, or to make substitutions. Labor and shipping costs for returns are not included. Britax products purchased from unauthorized retailers, online auction sites, or as second hand items are not covered under warranty.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty does not include damages which arise from negligence, misuse, salt corrosion, or use not in accordance with the user guide.

The use of non-Britax accessories is not approved by Britax. The use of unapproved accessories could cause this product to become damaged or dangerous. Their use may void the Britax warranty.

Limitations of Damages

The warranty and remedies as set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, express or implied. In no event will Britax or the retailer selling this product be liable for any damages, including incidental or consequential damages, arising out of the use or inability to use this product.

Limitations of Warranties and Other Warranty Terms and State Law Rights

Any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall be limited to the duration and terms of the express written warranty. Some states do not allow certain exclusions or limitations on warranties, so the above may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state. Neither Britax, nor the retailer selling this product, authorizes any person to create for it any other warranty, obligation, or liability in connection with this product.
