1. INTRODUCCION

Attention! Read all safety warnings and all instructions.

Failure to observe all warnings and instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and / or serious injury. Use this pressure washer only in the domestic

environment to clean objects such as chairs, tables, vehicles, facades, terraces, floors, etc. Do not use this machine to clean people or animals. Do not use this machine to clean fragile objects or objects that do not support water.

Save all warnings and all instructions for a future reference. If you sell this machine in the future, remember to give this manual to the new owner.

The expression "machine" in the warnings refers to this electrical machine connected to the electrical network. Remember that the user is responsible for accidents and damages caused to himself, to third parties and to things. The manufacturer will not be liable for damages caused by improper or incorrect use of this machine.

VAR600 is a high-performance patented machine to collect olives. Handy and light, it allows collecting olives easily without the use of stepladders. This manual includes all necessary information for a proper use and maintenance of the machine. Besides it includes important safety notes, so it always has to be kept with the machine for a quick reference.

2. SAFETY RULES AND PRECAUTIONS

To avoid incorrect handling of this machine, read all instructions in this manual before using it for the first time. All the information included in this manual is relevant to your personal safety and that of the people, animals and things that are around you. If you

have any questions regarding the information included in this manual, ask a professional or go to the point of sale where you purchased this machine to solve it.

2.1. USERS

This machine has been designed to be manipulated by users of legal age and who have read and understood these instructions.

Attention! Do not allow minors to use this machine.

Attention! Do not allow people who do not understand these instructions to use this machine.

Attention! Do not allow people with limited physical, sensory or intellectual abilities to use this machine.

Before using this machine familiarize yourself with the same one assuring that you know perfectly where all the controls are, the security devices and the way they should be used. If you are an inexperienced user, we recommend that you perform a minimum practice doing simple jobs and, if possible, in the company of an experienced person.

Attention! Just loan this machine to people who are familiar with this type of machine and know how to use it. Always provide the instruction manual with the machine so that the user can read it carefully and understand it. This machine is dangerous in the

hands of untrained users.

2.2. PERSONAL SAFETY

Be alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating this machine. Do not use this machine when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.

A moment of distraction while operating this machine can cause serious personal injury. Avoid accidental starting of the machine. Make sure the switch is in the "open" position before connecting to the network, picking up or transporting this machine. Transport electrical machines with your finger on the switch or plug Electrical machines that have a switch in the "OFF" position can put your safety at risk and cause accidents.

Remove all keys or hand tools from the machine and from the work area before starting this machine. A key or tool left near the machine can be touched by a part of the moving machine and be projected causing personal injury.

2.3. SAFETY WORK AREA

Ensure that all current carrying elements (plugs, switches, light bulbs,

etc.) are protected against jets of water in the work area. Unprotected conductive elements can short-circuit the system or cause a cramp to the user.

Keep the work area clean and work in good lighting. The disordered areas and

Darkness causes accidents.

Do not operate this machine in explosive atmospheres as well as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases and dust. Electric machines create sparks that can ignite dust or fumes.

Keep children and curious people away while operating this machine. Distractions can cause you to lose control. Keep children, people or animals from entering your work area.

Do not use this device when there are other people in the work area who are not protected by protective clothing, boots and goggles.

2.4. BASIC SECURITY

The user must use VAR600 knowing the security measures according to the regulations in force.

In particular, you must:

• ALWAYS use protective glasses
• NEVER use VAR600 near electric cables
- NEVER use VAR600 in case of rain or storm, anyway work in a dry environment
- Before any cleaning and/or maintenance action disconnect the electric cables
- After using the shaker, disconnect the electric cables and store VAR600 in a dry and cool place

3. INSTALLATION: HOW TO START

In its standard configuration the machine is equipped as follows:

100-cm extension

15-mt power supply cable with PCB

VAR600 works with a standard 12V car battery. In order to have an operating autonomy of 8 hours we suggest using a 80-100Ah battery at least.

Connect the VAR600 connector to the power supply cable; connect the cable terminals to the battery as follows:

Red terminal to positive pole (+)

Black terminal to negative pole (-)

Extension assembly:

a) Switch off the machine
b) Unloose the handle on the handgrip
c) Take off the tube inside handgrip
d) Plug in the extension up to the end
e) Fasten the handle again

4. TROUBLESHOOTING - CASE HISTORY

5. MAINTENANCE

Before any cleaning/maintenance action the operator has to absolutely disconnect the electric cables.

Maintenance has to be made by skilled personnel only, with the sole use of original spare parts. In order to assure a high performance for a long time operator has to make a simple maintenance work as mentioned in the following table.

NOTE: Do not use air compressors

Replacement of carbon rods

Carbon rods can be easily replaced when damaged or worn. Follow the steps below:

a) disconnect the electric cable
b) unscrew the nut
c) take off the rod
d) plug in the new rod
e) fasten again the screw again with the nut

NOTE: : The inside mechanisms of VAR600 are protected for a lifetime with a special grease. DO NOT OPEN THE MACHINE UPPER PART. Any tampering will invalidate the manufacturer warranty.

6. WARRANTY

VAR600 is manufactured with top quality materials, it is 100% tested and covered by warranty according to the law.

The warranty does not apply to damages caused by an incorrect use of the machine; the proper use of VAR600 is mentioned in this manual.

The warranty doesn't apply to any direct or indirect damage arising from the use and/or the keeping of the machine, nor from its malfunctioning, and it will in no case exceed the value of the machine. The warranty does not apply to the following cases:

• An erroneous action by the operator
- Damages caused by incorrect maintenance or the lack thereof
- Damages caused by the assembly of non-original parts or by repair operations performed without the authorization of the manufacturer
- Failure to comply with the instructions provided in this manual
