cleaning & caring
The once over
Check your buggy for cuts & bruises. If it is damaged in any way, or you're not sure how to use it, contact your retailer immediately.
Caring for explorer, hammerhead & classic.
Unlike children, your explorer, hammerhead or classic likes to stay clean.
- Brush dirt off frame and wheels regularly.
- Clean with non-abrasive household cleaner and a soft cloth.
- Wash off sand and salt after visiting the beach.
• Always dry frame if wet. - Fabric can be washed with warm water, using mild natural soap.
- Do not use detergents or bleach. Air dry.
- Take care to avoid damage to foam rubber (foam rubber is not under warranty).
Excessive wear can reduce effectiveness and safety. Parts may need lubrication. Inspect essential components for:
fraying – especially webbing straps and safety harnesses wear – locks, snap fasteners, tyres, plastic parts and moving parts safety – locks must not be loose
rights & remedies
*Consumers may have extra rights in some countries or states.
Our products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. If the product has a manufacturing fault we will repair it free of charge. If not practical to repair it, we will, at our discretion, replace the part in question. If the product fails due to wear and tear, accident, neglect or negligence, or is outside the warranty, we will happily repair it for a reasonable charge.*
Who is covered? The original purchaser buying product from an authorised dealer in the same country as the purchaser. Proof of purchase is required.
What is covered? Workmanship or materials that are deemed by us to be faulty, providing the product has at all times been used in normal conditions in accordance with instructions, and has been properly maintained.
What is not covered? Second hand product, modified product, poorly maintained product, normal wear, fading and fabric cuts, improper use
(by way of example): abnormal use; not following instructions; child left unattended; excessive load; transport damage i.e. airline or freight damage.
Customer costs within warranty. The customer is responsible for any inwards freight charge to return the product to the manufacturer or its representative for warranty and/or service.
Customer costs outside warranty. Where proof of purchase is not provided or the product is outside of the one year warranty period, the manufacturer (or agent) reserves the right to charge a service fee and/or charge for parts replaced/ repaired. A return freight charge will also apply.
Exclusions. Any consequential loss or damage to any person or property directly or indirectly as a result of using the product.

European Safety Standard (EN 1888:2005) states:
WARNING

This vehicle is intended for children from newborn to 6 years and up to a maximum weight of 20kg/44lbs.
WARNING

It may be dangerous to leave your child unattended.
WARNING

Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use.
WARNING

Use a harness as soon as your child can sit unaided.
WARNING

The parking device shall be engaged during the loading and unloading of children.
WARNING

The buggy shall only be used for a maximum of 2 children.
WARNING

Accessories or replacement parts that are not approved by the manufacturer or distributor should not be used.
WARNING

Any load attached to the handle affects the stability of the stroller.
WARNING

Do not place more than 5kg/11lbs in the parcel tray.
WARNING

Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt.
WARNING

Check that the stroller body or seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.
WARNING

This product is not suitable for running or skating.
WARNING

Maximum pressure of tyres is 22psi. Only inflate with a hand pump, do not inflate with an air compressor or similar intended for car tyres.
American Safety Standard (ASTM: F833-08/10) states:
WARNING

Never leave your child unattended in the stroller.
WARNING

This vehicle is intended for children from newborn to 6 years and up to a maximum weight of 20kg/44lbs.
WARNING

To prevent the stroller from becoming unstable, do not place parcels or accessory items anywhere except in the storage basket and pockets provided. Do not hang items such as shopping bags from the frame.
WARNING

Do not place more than 5kg/11lbs in the parcel tray. Excessive weight may cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist.
WARNING

Always use the safety harness to avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always secure all safety harness straps and ensure it's correctly fitted and adjusted to secure the child firmly.
Australia / New Zealand Safety Standard (AS/NZS: 2088:2009 +CPN8) states:
WARNING

To avoid injury or death:
Always apply the breaks whenever the stroller is stationary.
- Do not leave children unattended.
- Secure the child in the harness at all times.
- Do not carry extra children or bags on this stroller.
• Make sure children are clear of any moving parts if you adjust the stroller.
WARNING

Use the harness at all times.
WARNING

When not in use disconnect shoulder straps from the waist strap or buckle, as they may be a strangulation hazard.
WARNING

It is unsafe to use accessories other than those approved by the vehicles manufacturer.
WARNING

Care should be taken if the stroller is used on stairs or escalators.
WARNING

The stroller should not be used near an open fire or exposed flame.
WARNING
