Important safety guidelines for this appliance

  • Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it, or disconnect the power plug from the socket.

3. Functions

The Brandon pedestal fan has a powerful motor and 37cm rotor blades which ensure optimum ventilation even on hot days. Thanks to the three speed levels, adjustable angle of inclination and oscillation, you can adapt the fan to your individual requirements.

5. Assembly

Note: Screws, if not in the packaging bag, are usually all pre-assembled in the intended location.

  1. Take the fan out of the package and check the appliance as well as the scope of delivery mentioned in the table above. Please contact the supplier if any part is missing or has been damaged. Place the rear protective cage (5) on the rotor axis (6). Make sure that the handle is facing up.
  2. Tighten the protective cage firmly using the mounting nut (4).
  3. Then insert the rotor blade (3) onto the rotor axis (6) and fasten it using the appropriate mounting nut (2).
  4. Caution: The mounting nut needs to be tightened counter-clockwise.
  5. Mount the front protective cage (1) onto the rear protective cage. A hole is provided for a locking screw (13) at the bottom of the two protective cages.
  6. Insert the locking screw (13) through the hole of the front and rear guards and fasten it using the locking nut. Then connect the four mounting brackets to the side.
  7. Take the pedestal (13) and connect the outer pipe (10) to the pedestal.
  8. Fix the outer pipe (10) to the pedestal (11) from below using the mounting screw with washer (12).
  9. Pull the inner pipe (8) from the pedestal outer pipe (10), and fix it by tightening the height adjustment screw (9)

Note: The inner tube is inside the outer tube and can be pulled out with your finger. Make sure you loosen the nut before you can pull out the inner tube.

  1. The fan and pedestal have to be finally assembled.

  2. Attach the fan to the pedestal by placing the motor unit (6) on the inner pipe (8) and secure the fan using the locking screw (7).

6. Usage

Keep the fan in an appropriate location and connect the appliance to a properly installed 220-240V AC socket.

By tipping the protective cage, you can change the angle of inclination according to your needs.

Press the "SWING" button on the remote control or the "OSC" button on the fan, to enable the oscillation.

Press the "Power" button on the fan control panel or the "ON/OFF" button on the remote control to switch the fan on.

7. Timer function

You have the option of enabling a timer function (the appliance switches off automatically after the time elapses). The fan can set a timer between 1 hour and 9 hours. Press the "Timer" button for this purpose. The timer increases by one hour each time you press the button, up to a maximum of 9 hours. The display shows the current timer setting.

To disable the timer ahead of time, just press the timer button repeatedly until a "0" appears in the display.

8. Speed levels

Press the "ON / OFF" button on the remote control to switch on the fan. Alternatively, you can press the "Speed" button on the control panel to adjust the speed. The display shows the current speed level. The following speed levels are available:

  • Speed level 3

9. Cleaning

Caution! Pull out the power plug from the socket before starting the cleaning process!

Use a slightly moist cloth for cleaning (wetted with water).

Never immerse the appliance in water for cleaning. This could lead to electric shock or fire!

10. Safety instructions and disclaimer

Please do not try to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications by yourself. Avoid contact with the mains supply. The appliance does not carry current only when disconnected. Please do not short-circuit the product. Do not forget to disconnect the power cord when the appliance is not being used or during thunderstorms.
