3. Functions
The Brandon pedestal fan has an efficient DC motor and large 35 cm rotor blades which ensure optimum ventilation even on hot days. Thanks to the 9 speed levels, adjustable angle of inclination and oscillation function, you can adapt the fan to your individual requirements. Compared to conventional AC fans, up to 60% can be saved on energy costs with the DC motor fan with an identical air flow in ^3 . The input voltage of 220-240 VAC is converted to the 24V DC required by the DC motor by an external power supply unit.

5.1 Stand assembly
Align the stand (10) and the stand rod (9) and fasten them using the stand nut (11) and the stand mounting screw (12).

5.2 Assembling the motor unit to the stand

First align the motor rod (7) with the hole position of the stand assembled earlier (see 5.1 Stand assembly). Then rotate it clockwise to fix the motor unit to the stand.
5.3 Assembling and locking the rear protective cage
Align the motor unit (6) with the rear protective cage (3). Mount it and secure it using the plastic nut (1).

ate hole.

5.4 Assembling and locking the rotor blade
Align the rotor blade with the motor unit (6), insert it completely, and then attach the rotor blade using the mounting screw (2).

5.5 Assembling and fixing the front protective cage
Lock the front protective cage (5) to the rear protective cage (3) so that the logo is seen correctly.

Mount the front protective cage onto the rear protective cage using the provided assembly aid (hook).

6. Usage
Keep the fan in an appropriate location and connect the appliance to a properly installed 220-240V AC socket.
By tipping the protective cage, you can change the angle of inclination according to your needs by up to 90^ .
Press the "Oscillation" button ( ) on the control unit or on the remote control to turn on the oscillation.
The fan has 9 different speed levels, which you can change using the "Speed level" buttons ( ,) on the control unit or on the remote control.
6.1 Control panel

| Control panel Function | |
| POWER ON/OFF // Function On/Off | |
| OSC | Press the "OSC" button to turn on the oscillation of the fan. By pressing the button repeatedly, you can shift through the various oscillation modes. The following cycle: Angle: 60°→ Switch off → 90°→ Switch off → 120°→ Switch off → 60° etc. |
| SPEED | This button can be pressed briefly to change the wind speed. The button can be pressed for long time to change the mode. (cycle: Normal -> Turbo -> Sleep -> Normal etc). |
| 8 | Display of the current speed |
| TURBO | This button can be pressed briefly to enable and disable the turbo mode. The "Turbo" button - provides an extra boost of power. The button can be pressed for a long time to turn the temperature-dependent mode on and off. |
| In the turbo mode, the display is turned on and "H" is shown on the screen. The turbo mode switches the fan speed to maximum. | |
| In the sleep mode, this display is turned on, and the wind speed of the fan can be automatically adjusted as per the selected program. There are three speed levels, i.e. "1, 2, 3". And the required sleep wind speed can be adjusted by pressing the "SPEED" button. | |
| E | This display starts glowing in temperature-dependent mode. (ECO-Mode) This mode can automatically adjust the wind speed in a smart way according to the change in ambient temperature. |
| L | The timer function of the appliance can be adjusted only via the remote control and and this symbol is shown in the display. |
6.2 Remote control

6.3 Timer function
The appliance can be switched off at the set time using the timer function.
After pressing the "Timer" button, the time can be set by pressing the "+" and "-" buttons on the remote control. (Cycle: 0-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-0 Hours) The time is enabled once the indicator flashes 3 times.
If the set time shows 0, it means that the "Timer" function is disabled.
Example: If you want to set the timer to 5 hours, press the "Timer" button and then the "+" button until the number "5" is shown on the display.
6.4 Temperature-dependent mode
| Working range 10°C-40°C | |
| Measuring interval every 11 seconds | |
| Temperature tolerance | +/- 1°C |
When this function is switched on, the speed level changes based on the current ambient temperature measured at the time this function was started.
For example, if the fan is switched to ECO mode with speed level 6, then the speed level is changed based on level 6. If the speed level is manually changed to level 8 with this function, then further speed adjustments are made based on level 8 instead.
The automatic speed level adjustments now made are also based on the temperature at which this function was started.
If, for example, the ambient temperature is 24^ when ECO mode is switched on, it will henceforth be checked whether the ambient temperature has still remained at 24^ . If the temperature now increases by 1^ according to the reference ambient temperature (24^) , the speed also increases by 1 step.
In the same way, if the temperature drops by -1^ according to the original reference ambient temperature, the speed level is lowered by 1 level.
Example:
At an ambient temperature of 26^ and speed level 6, ECO mode is activated. If the temperature rises to 28^ , the speed increases to level 8; if, on the other hand, the ambient temperature changes to 22^ , the speed decreases to level 2. This function works at a temperature range of 10^ to 40^ . When the ambient temperature reaches 40^ , the automatic switches to TURBO MODE; below 10^ , speed level 1 is activated.
6.5 Height adjustment
To adjust the height of the fan, first loosen the height adjustment nut (13). You can then adjust the height of the fan and slide the appliance upwards. Once the desired height is reached, tighten the height adjustment nut (13) again.
Caution! Please do not forget to switch off the appliance before adjusting the height!

Pull out the power plug from the socket before starting the cleaning process! Use a slightly moist cloth for cleaning (wetted with water). Never immerse the appliance in water for cleaning. This could lead to electric shock or fire!
