Frequently Asked Questions - IDEAL IZ8901 Eldom

How to charge the IDEAL IZ8901 toothbrush?
Connect the provided USB cable to the charging port at the bottom of the toothbrush, then plug the other end into a wall adapter 5V, 1A (not included). The light turns on during charging and turns off when the battery is full. Charging time is approximately 4 hours. The device cannot be used while charging.
What is the battery life of the toothbrush?
Once fully charged, the toothbrush can operate for up to 30 days with standard use (2 brushings of 2 minutes per day).
How to know if the battery is low?
When the battery is low, the charging indicator flashes 10 times to remind you to recharge the device.
What are the available brushing modes and how to select them?
Five modes are available: Whitening (White), Cleaning (Clean), Sensitive (Sensitive), Polish (Polish) and Massage (Massage). Press the switch button to turn on the toothbrush and continue pressing to cycle through modes. The last selected mode is memorized.
How to replace the brush head?
Make sure the toothbrush is off. Pull the used head upward and insert the new replacement head IZK8901 (original) until it clicks. Ensure a minimal gap between the head and body to avoid damaging the device. Replace the head every 3 months or as soon as the bristles are deformed.
Is the toothbrush waterproof?
Yes, the toothbrush body is rated IPX7, meaning it can be immersed in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes. However, the USB cable should not be immersed.
How to clean and maintain the toothbrush?
After each use, rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water without pulling on the bristles. Wipe the toothbrush body with a damp cloth and the USB cable in the same way. Do not use abrasive or corrosive products.
What to do if the toothbrush does not work?
First check that the toothbrush is charged: plug it in and wait for the light to turn on. If the problem persists, check the USB cable connection and try a different power adapter. If nothing works, contact the manufacturer's customer service.
Why does the toothbrush vibrate less strongly?
This may be due to excessive pressure on the teeth. Reduce pressure to allow the toothbrush to vibrate normally. A worn brush head can also reduce efficiency; replace it if necessary.
How to recycle the toothbrush at the end of its life?
Do not dispose of the device with household waste. Take it to a collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) to be recycled in an environmentally friendly way. Remove the battery if possible before depositing.
