4 Getting started

At first, you have to connect your digital player to the audio converter. You can optionally use the Toslink or coaxial socket. Afterwards connect the audio converter to the signal input of your playback and recording device (e.g. hi-fi system, mixer, or line-in port on a recording device).

Finally, connect the USB to hollow plug cable to the converter and plug it with a suitable USB port. Alternatively, it is possible to use an USB power supply with an output voltage of 5V.

Note: Please pay attention of an sufficiently shielding of analog cables. External disturbances can affect significantly the sound when using poorly grounded RCA connector cables. Do not put analog audio connection cables parallelly to power cables or next to power sources and power supplies. This is especially important if you use long connecting cables.
