Before use, please read these instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place for future reference. When passing on the appliance to a third party, make sure to include these instructions for use.

Intended Use

This appliance is only intended for making popcorn. All other use or modification of the appliance is not intended by the manufacturer and might entail a risk of damage or injury. This appliance is not intended for commercial use!

General Safety Instructions

  • Manufacturer takes no responsibility for any damage caused by incorrect use.
  • Incorrect or improper use can damage the appliance and cause injuries to the user.
  • Before connecting this appliance to the mains, make sure your local voltage matches the technical data of the appliance. Otherwise the appliance may overheat and get damaged.

Warning! To avoid the possibility of injury/damage to the appliance, electric shock, risk of fire and burns!

  • Only use the appliance for its intended purpose and as described in this manual.
  • Place the appliance on an even and heat-resistant surface. Do not place it on top of a metal surface.
  • Do not add any oil or butter, this will cause damage to the appliance.
  • Do not use the appliance without corn kernels.
  • Do not use ready made popcorn mix which contain fat or oil.
  • Do not insert additional corn kernels while the appliance is already in operation
  • Attention: The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high during operation. Therefore, do not touch the appliance during and/or immediately after operation. Danger of serious burns!

  • Do not move the appliance during operation.

  • Do not exceed max of measuring cup.
  • Always unplug the appliance after use and let it completely cool down before cleaning.
  • Do not use the appliance close to or under inflammable objects, e.g. curtains, wall cabinets.
    • During operation, never leave the appliance unattended
    • Adhere to a minimum wall distance of 5 cm.
  • CAUTION: This appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as an external timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
  • The appliance also features a Thermal safety cut-out which will switch off the appliance, should it accidentally overheat. In the event of such a safety cut-out switch off the appliance immediately, unplug it and let it cool down for approx. 10 minutes. Afterwards, the appliance is ready for use again.

Before First Use

Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete.

Fully unwind the power cord (8) and connect the appliance to a properly installed wall socket.

Do not use the appliance if it shows any signs of damage.

Clean the appliance as described under Cleaning and Care.

Warning: Plastic bags are a danger to toddlers and babies, therefore keep them away to avoid

suffocation.

OPERATION

Make sure that the appliance is fully assembled!

The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high during operation. Therefore, do not e appliance during and/or immediately after operation.

The appliance is operated with hot air and does not need any oil or butter.

  1. Place the appliance on an even and heat-resistant surface. Do not place it on top of a metal surface.
  2. Fill the measuring cup (1) up to the rim with popcorn kernels and pour them through the opening of the top cover (2) into the popcorn chamber (5).

Do not add any oil, butter, salt or other condiments as this might damage the appliance.

  1. Close the appliance with the measuring cup (1) which also acts as a lid.
  2. Place a bowl underneath the popcorn outlet (4).
  3. Connect the appliance to a properly installed and easily accessible socket.
  4. Switch the appliance on by pressing the On/Off (7) switch.
  5. After approx. 2 - 4 minutes you can enjoy your freshly made popcorn.
  6. Once the kernels have popped, switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains.

Warning: DO NOT operate the appliance longer than 5 minutes (CO-time) at a time, to avoid ing of the appliance.

Before continuing to make more popcorn, let the appliance cool down for approx. 10 minutes.

Popcorn varieties

Once the popcorn is done create your own favorite varieties!

Sweet / Salty

30 g butter

20 g sugar or salt

(or use less acc. to your liking)

1 tbsp water

Combine the butter, sugar/salt, water and heat gently until combined. Leave to cool and stir. Pour the mixture over the popcorn and coat thoroughly.

Chocolate

90 g butter

40 g sugar

2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

Combine the butter, sugar, cocoa powder and heat gently until melted.

Leave to cool and stir. Pour the mixture over the popcorn and coat thoroughly.

Chili Lime

30 g butter

1 tbsp of chilli pepper

12 tbsp. salt

Zest of 2 limes

Heat the butter until melted. Combine the chilli pepper, salt and lime zest.

Pour the melted butter over the popcorn, add the chili lime mixture and coat thoroughly.

These are only a few options, create your popcorn variety to your own liking!

CLEANING AND CARE

Due to hygienic reasons clean your appliance on a regular basis, best after each use, and remove any food residues. Not doing so could possibly result in a hazardous situation.

Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance, disconnect it from the mains and let it

completely cool down.

Never immerse the appliance in water. Danger! Electric Shock!

When cleaning the appliance or accessories never use any aggressive cleaning agents and/or other hard objects.

Clean the body (6) and popcorn chamber (5) with a moistened soft cloth.

The Popcorn kernel measuring cup (1), top cover (3) can be cleaned in warm water using some dishwashing detergent. They are not dishwasher safe.

Make sure that all parts are thoroughly dried, before using the appliance again.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

STORAGE

Disconnect the appliance from the mains after each use and let it completely cool down.

Keep the appliance away from children and store it in a clean and dry place.
