How to assemble the JE407 citrus press?

Place the container on the base and turn to lock. First place the strainer filter, then the top filter. Finally, choose the appropriate cone (large for oranges/grapefruits, small for lemons/limes) and place it on the filter.

How to use the citrus press?

Cut a citrus fruit in half, place one half on the cone, then put the lid on top. Plug in the appliance and press on the lid to start the motor. Release pressure to stop.

How to adjust the amount of pulp in the juice?

The top filter has a setting to choose the amount of pulp. Turn it according to your preference: more pulp or clearer juice.

What if the motor does not start?

Check that the appliance is properly plugged in and that pressure on the lid is sufficient. Make sure the container is correctly locked. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How to clean the citrus press?

Unplug the appliance. Disassemble the parts: lid, cones, filters, and container. Wash them with warm soapy water or in the dishwasher. Wipe the base with a damp cloth, never immerse it.

Can I put the parts in the dishwasher?

Can I use an extension cord with the JE407?

Yes, provided it is a grounded type, with a power rating at least equal to that of the appliance (40W) and no other appliance is plugged into the same extension cord. Place it securely.

How to store the citrus press?

Introduction

Nothing beats a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. With the JE407 electric citrus juicer, getting your daily dose of vitamin C has never been easier or quicker!

The powerful 40W motor juices your fruit quickly and efficiently, quickly filling up the 700ml juice jug. This model features a clever adjustable filter that you can change how much pulp goes into your juice.

Before First Use

1. Before first use, remove all packaging and set aside.
2. Clean the Jug(6), Juicing Cones(2+3) and Lid(1) for the first time as per the instructions in the ‘Cleaning and Maintenance’ section.
3. Wipe clean the Base Unit(8) and dry.
4. Place the base unit on a flat, dry surface and located close to an electrical mains socket.

How to Use

1. Assemble the juicer. Place the jug onto the base unit and turn it to lock it into place.
2. Place the Filter Bottom(5) first onto the top of the jug, then the Filter Top (4).
3. Select which juicing cone you need and place it on top of the filter assembly.
4. Prepare your fruit by cutting your citrus fruits in half. Place one half onto the juicing cone.

3. Switch the juicer on at the mains socket. Then to start juicing, place your hand onto the lid and press the lid down to apply pressure. The pressure activates the motor and juicing will commence.

4. To stop juicing, stop applying pressure and lift the lid off.

5. Continue to juice your fruit until you reach the amount of juice you want.

6. Remove the lid, cone and filter assembly. Pour the juice straight into a glass or decant into a container.

Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Switch the appliance off at the wall socket and unplug before cleaning.
2. Disassemble the juicer. Remove any remnants of pulp from the filter and dispose of.
3. Wash the jug, filter, lid and cones with warm soapy water. These parts can also be cleaned in a dishwasher.

! CAUTION: Do not get the base of the juicer wet at any time as this may damage the unit or create an electrical safety hazard

1. Dry all parts thoroughly before the next use or before storing away.

2. Do not use abrasive cleaning materials like scourers or scrubbing brushes on the juicer or its parts.

3. To clean the base unit, use a well-wrung damp cloth to wipe over the surface. Ensure you dry it thoroughly immediately afterwards.
4. Ensure the appliance is clean and dry before storage.
