Intended Use
This telescoping wand is intended for cleaning typical house siding, gutters, and windows.
DO NOT let children come into contact with the tool. Supervision is required when inexperienced operators use this tool.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
DANGER: To reduce the risk of injury, the user must need and understand this instruction manual as well as the instruction manual for their pressure washer before using this product. Failure to follow all warnings and precautions may result in death, serious personal injury, or property damage.
WARNING: Risk of Injection or Severe Injury – Keep Clear of Nozzle – Do Not Direct Discharge Stream at Persons – This Product Is To Be Used Only By Trained Operators.
- Beware of overhead power lines. Contacting these lines may result in electrocution, injury, or even death.
- Keep at least 30 feet (10 meters) away from power lines. Do not touch or aim spray at electrical wiring of any kind.
• Always operate the telescoping wand from the ground. Do not stand on ladders, scaffolding, chairs, etc. - Do not overreach. Keep good footing and balance at all times.
- Read all the instructions before using the product.
- For use with electric pressure washers only.
- Keep children, bystanders and animals away from the work area a minimum of 30 feet (10 meters) when operating the telescoping wand.
• To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when a product is used near children.
- Do not operate the product when fatigued or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Keep operating area clear of all persons.
- Risk of injection or severe injury. Do not direct spray at people, pets, or electrical apparatus and wiring.
- Do not extend or retract the telescoping pole while in use.
- Know how to stop the product and bleed pressures quickly. Be thoroughly familiar with the controls.
- Stay alert – watch what you are doing.
- Disconnect power source prior to the detaching of the high pressure hose.
- Before removing or cleaning accessories and nozzles, shut down the pressure washer, turn off the water supply and depressurize the system.
- Telescoping wand kicks back – hold with both hands.
- To prevent accidental discharge from the gun always use the trigger lock when you've finished spraying.
- Make sure all connections are secure. Hold the gun securely while starting pressure washer unit.
- Risk of explosion. Do not spray flammable liquids.
- When using the telescoping wand at any position less than fully extended, make sure the high pressure hose is located so that it will not be stepped on, tripped over, or otherwise subjected to damage or stress. Keep the hose clear of the working area.
- Always wear appropriate safety glasses when telescoping wand.
• Always wear the shoulder harness when operating the telescoping wand.
- For cold water use only.
- For outdoor use only - store indoors.

ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENTS
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, turn unit off and disconnect it from power source before making any adjustments or removing/installing attachments or accessories. An accidental start-up can cause injury.
Assembling Curved Spray Wands and the T-Shape Brush (Fig. B)
- To connect the 30^ curved rod 19, 120^ curved rod 20 or T-shape brush 18 to the telescoping wand 1, insert the threaded end 17 of the curved rod/T-shape brush into the threaded collar 9 of the telescoping wand 1.
NOTE: Avoid cross threading when installing the curved rod/T-shape brush. Cross threading will cause leaks. - Rotate the threaded collar 9 clockwise until fully tightened.
Attaching High Pressure Hose (Fig. C)
CAUTION: NEVER PULL WATER SUPPLY HOSE TO MOVE pressure washer. This could damage hose and/or pump inlet.
NOTE: Uncoil the high pressure hose 22 before installation to prevent kinks.
NOTE: Avoid cross threading when installing the hose. Cross threading will cause leaks.
- To connect the high pressure hose 22 to the handle grip 5, thread the hose collar 23 onto the inlet coupler 10.
Attaching Quick Connect Nozzles (Fig. D)
DANGER: Risk of fluid injection. Do not direct discharge stream toward persons, unprotected skin, eyes or any pets or animals. Serious injury will occur.
WARNING: Flying objects could cause risk of serious injury. DO NOT attempt to change nozzles while pressure washer is running. Turn pressure washer unit OFF before changing nozzles.

To connect a nozzle 21 to the 30° curved rod 19 or 120° curved rod 20, pull the quick connect collar 24 toward the telescoping wand 1 and insert the appropriate nozzle 21.

Release the quick connect collar to lock the nozzle into place.

Give the nozzle a firm tug after the quick connect collar has locked into place to ensure the nozzle is locked into place.
NOTE: The nozzles listed below might not be included with your pressure washer but are available for purchase at an additional cost.

25° Green Nozzle For vinyl siding.
40° White Nozzle For automotive washing.
Black Turbo Nozzle For abrasive cleaning.
Adjusting the Telescoping Wand Length (Fig. A, E)
WARNING: Always check to make sure that the pole adjust levers are completely locked and that the telescoping pole does not move before using or transporting the telescoping wand. Not locking the pole adjust lever could result in the telescoping pole unexpectedly moving, creating a hazardous condition. Periodically check the pole adjust levers to ensure that they are completely locked.
The telescoping wand 1 can be used retracted, extended, or at any position in between.

Unlock the pole adjust lever(s) 7 as shown in Fig. E.

With one hand firmly grasping the telescoping assembly 24, slide the telescoping pole(s) 8 out with
the other hand as shown in Fig. E. This will reveal the stored telescoping pole(s) 8.
- Ensure the telescoping wand hose 6 slides freely into the telescoping pole to prevent kinks.
- Once you have reached the desired telescoping length, lock the pole adjust lever(s) 7 to secure the telescoping pole in place. Ensure the telescoping pole(s) 8 are secured into position before use.
Adjusting the Harness (Fig. F—I)
- Place the harness 11 over your shoulders.
- Adjust the straps 14 as desired.
- Wrap the waist belt 15 around your waist and fasten the buckle 12. Adjust the waist belt straps to tighten or loosen the waist belt 15 as desired.
- Connect the harness buckle 13 to the wand buckle 16 on the telescoping wand 1.

Proper Hand Position (Fig. A, J)
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, ANDYS use proper hand position as shown.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, ALWAYS hold securely in anticipation of a sudden reaction.
Proper hand position requires one hand on the telescoping handle grip 5 and the other hand on the spray handle 2.
NOTE: Always wear the harness 11 and have the harness buckle 13 connected to the wand buckle 16 on the telescoping wand 1.
Preparing Surface for Cleaning
CAUTION: Before operation:
- Remove objects from the area which could create a hazard such as children's toys or outdoor furniture.
- Ensure that all doors and windows are closed tight. Protect all plants and trees in the adjacent area with a drop cloth ensuring that they will not be harmed by any overspray.
• Pre-rinse cleaning area with fresh water.
• Always test detergent in an inconspicuous area before use.
Usage
- Once the telescoping wand is set up, connect the hose to the pressure washer as described in your pressure washer manual.
- Start the pressure washer as described in your pressure washer manual.
WARNING: Only extend the telescoping wand as long as necessary for the work you are attempting to do and remain in full control of the telescoping wand at all times. Loss of control could result in serious personal injury
Using Telescoping Wand (Fig. A, J)
IMPORTANT: Before turning on the pressure washer unit, disengage the trigger lock-off 4 and squeeze the trigger 3.
- Before attempting to use the telescoping wand 1 extend the telescoping pole(s) 8 to approximately half of its available length:
a. Ensure you are wearing the harness 11 with the harness buckle 13 buckled to the wand buckle 16.
b. Ensure the telescoping wand is connected to a high pressure hose and the pressure washer is running, depress the trigger 3 to release a stream of water to get a feel for how the telescoping wand 1 will perform during use.
NOTE: The telescoping wand will kickback when the trigger is squeezed and released. Before releasing the trigger, move the nozzle at least 10 feet (3 meters) away from the work surface.

Raise the telescoping wand 1 and aim towards the area to be cleaned.

Disengage the trigger lock-off 4.
-
Squeeze the trigger 3.
-
When finished, place the telescoping wand 1 gently on the ground, to avoid damaging any components or accessories.
MAINTENANCE

Storage
- Store in a dry, covered location above freezing temperature. STORE INDOORS.
• Always completely empty water from high pressure hose, pressure washer unit, nozzles, and spray wand.
