Important safety information

• Use the device only for private and intended purposes. The product is not intended for commercial use.
• Do not place the product near water sources such as bathtubs, showers, washbasins, or swimming pools.
• Do not use this product with wet hands.
• Protect the product from moisture, sharp edges, or large sources of dust. Never immerse the product in liquid.
• Choose a suitable surface to prevent the device from tipping over.

• Never leave the fan unattended and select a place where animals or children cannot be within reach.

• This device may be used by children 8 years of age and older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the resulting hazards.

• Children are not allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
• For the safety of your children, do not leave any parts of the packaging (plastic bags, foils, cardboard or polystyrene) within reach.

• Do not let young children play with foil or plastic bags. There is a danger of choking!

• The fan and the rotation control must not be blocked!

• Never insert body parts (e.g. fingers) or objects into the fan.
• Make sure that no hairs are within reach of the fan. These can be sucked in by the air flow.
• Allow the device to cool down completely before touching or cleaning it.
• Wipe the cabinet with a damp cloth and then dry it with a clean, dry cloth. Never immerse it in water for cleaning.
• ATTENTION: Danger of burns! Always make sure that you only touch the device when it has cooled down completely.

• Only use this device with a free-standing fireplace or stove. The device is not suitable for built-in stoves, fireplaces or other fireplaces.
• If you want to move the fan, be sure to lift it from above. Protect yourself from high temperatures, e.g. with heat-resistant gloves.
• Important: The surface temperature where the stove fan is placed must be more than 50^ C , as the stove fan needs the heat to generate electricity and turn it.
• The fan must not be exposed to temperatures above 350^ C !

5. Start-up

Take the device out of its packaging and remove any packaging material. Place the fan on a suitable, level surface. Ensure correct positioning (see chapter 4.) You can use the included thermometer as a reference for an optimal position.

Attention! The thermometer gets hot as the fan when you put it on an oven!

The optimal temperature for the fan is between 130^ and 240^ .

6. Cleaning

Allow the device to cool down completely before cleaning! Use a cloth slightly moistened with water for cleaning. Never immerse the device in water to clean it.

7. Safety instructions and liability disclaimer

Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not certified for use in the open air; only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the device to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibration as this might damage electronic components. Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instructions. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or alteration to the device not carried out by the original supplier, will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The product may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instructions. The device specifications may change without any separate prior notice to this effect.

8. Disposal instructions

Electrical and electronic devices may only be disposed of in accordance with the European WEEE Directive and not with household rubbish. Components must be disposed of or recycled separately as dangerous, toxic elements can inflict sustained damage on the environment if they are disposed of incorrectly.
