Important safety instructions for this device

• Choose a suitable underlay to prevent the unit from tipping over.
• Do not place the coffee grinder directly next to heat sources (e.g. electric cooker).
• Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet when not in use or for cleaning.
• Switch off the device and let it cool down completely before cleaning.
• Do not move the product while it is in use.
• Make sure that the power cord does not touch any hot surfaces.
• If you want to pull the plug out of the socket, please pull the plug and not the cable.
• Never handle the plug with wet hands.
• Protect the device from fire.

• This product is intended for household use only.
• The coffee grinder is not designed for commercial use.
• Check whether the mains voltage indicated on the type plate corresponds to that of your household.
• Connect the device only to properly connected sockets.
• To avoid overheating of the motor, the device must cool down for 10 minutes after 1 minute of use.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its dealer or a similarly qualified person to avoid danger.
• Do not put any body parts or hair into the knife unit!

4. Start-up

Take the device out of its packaging and remove any packaging material. Clean the grinder and the lid as described in the 5th section "Cleaning and Care".

Place the machine on a straight and level surface and ensure that the grinder has a secure standing position.

• Open the lid by turning it counterclockwise and fill the grinder with approx. 50g coffee beans. Take care not to overfill the grinder.
• You must replace the cover by unscrewing it clockwise. A safety circuit will prevent the device from starting if the cover is not fitted correctly. If the cover is correctly seated, connect the mains plug to a properly connected socket.
• Press the on/off button until the material to be ground has achieved the desired result. In the next step, all you have to do is open the mill and remove the ground material.

Note: If you want to grind again immediately after the grinding process, we recommend that you allow the device to cool down completely before the next use in order to avoid possible damage. To prevent the motor from overheating, the machine should cool down for 10 minutes after 1 minute of use.

- After use, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and wrap the cable in the cable compartment if necessary. This is located on the underside of the device.

5. Cleaning and care

1. Make sure that the device is disconnected from the power supply for cleaning and when not in use.
2. Clean the device and the lid with a soft, damp cloth. Use a mild detergent only. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents! Dry the device thoroughly after cleaning
3. Use a soft brush to clean stubborn dirt.

Attention! Clean the grinding chamber particularly carefully, because the knife element is very sharp! Do not immerse the device in water!

6. Safety instructions and liability disclaimer

Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not certified for use in the open air; only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the device to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibration as this might damage electronic components. Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instructions. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or alteration to the device not carried out by the original supplier, will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The product may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instructions. The device specifications may change without any separate prior notice to this effect.

7. Disposal instructions

Electrical and electronic devices may only be disposed of in accordance with the European WEEE Directive and not with household rubbish. Components must be disposed of or recycled separately as dangerous, toxic elements can inflict sustained damage on the environment if they are disposed of incorrectly.
