Frequently Asked Questions - 301149 Arendo

How to use the Arendo 301149 coffee grinder?
Choose the desired blade unit (2 compartments for fine grind, 4 for coarse). Install it by turning clockwise until it clicks. Fill the bowl up to the MAX mark (65 g), close the lid, and hold down the On/Off button until the desired grind is achieved. The appliance only operates when the lid is properly closed thanks to the safety circuit.
What types of food can I grind?
This appliance is designed for grinding dry foods, mainly coffee beans, but also nuts, spices, etc. Avoid foods with high liquid content to prevent overflow. Use the 2-blade unit for fine grinding and the 4-blade unit for coarser grinding.
How to clean the blades and the appliance?
Unplug the appliance and let it cool. Clean the body with a soft damp cloth and a mild detergent. For the blades, clean very gently as they are very sharp. Never immerse the appliance, cable, or plug in water.
What to do if the appliance does not work?
Check that the lid is properly closed: the safety circuit prevents operation if the lid is not correctly engaged. Also ensure the plug is connected and the voltage matches. If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer.
Can I grind liquid foods?
It is not recommended to grind foods with high liquid content. The manual recommends grinding only dry or low-moisture foods to avoid spills. If you must grind moist foods, do not overfill and be careful.
What is the maximum operating time?
The maximum operating cycle is 30 seconds. After each use, let the appliance cool for at least 2 minutes before using it again to avoid motor overheating.
How to replace the blades?
The blade units are removable: remove them by turning counterclockwise and install the new unit by turning clockwise until it clicks. Be careful not to touch the blades as they are very sharp.
Is the appliance suitable for children?
Children aged 8 and above can use the appliance under adult supervision. Children must not play with the appliance. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
What are the important safety precautions?
Never touch the plug with wet hands, do not immerse the appliance, keep it out of reach of children, do not use near heat sources, and unplug after use. The blades are very sharp: handle with care.
How to store the appliance?
Store the coffee grinder in a dry place away from dust. Make sure it is completely cool and clean before storing. Avoid high temperatures and humidity.
