1 Scope of supply

• Espresso machine including measuring spoon
• User manual

4 Additional information about this appliance

• Carry out the first two rounds with hot water only. Do not use coffee powder.
• Be careful when using hot water. There is a risk of burns!
• Do not press the coffee powder too firmly into the filter. You can use the back of the measuring spoon for this purpose. Ensure that you do not overfill the filter.

5 Setting up

Remove the cup from the espresso machine.
Unscrew the spout. Then remove the filter.

Unscrew the water tank. Remove the measuring spoon from the water tank.
Fill the measuring spoon with the desired coffee powder.

Place the filter on the measuring spoon.

Turn both the parts in order to get the coffee powder in the filter.

Then, insert the filter into the base. Ensure that you clean the base of any coffee powder residues.

Screw the spout to the base unit.

Pour boiled water into the water tank up to the maximum mark.

Then carefully screw the base onto the water tank. Be careful not to scald yourself!

Unlock the pump by turning in the appropriate direction.

Position the espresso machine with the spout facing down over the cup and start pumping.

The filter fills with water after pumping for about 6 times. Pump until the espresso fills the cup completely.

6 Cleaning and Maintenance

Never clean the appliance in the dishwasher. Clean the parts of the espresso machine under running water to remove dirt and coffee residues. Clean the outside of the espresso machine with a damp and soft cloth.

• Do not clean the espresso machine and accessories in a dishwasher.
• Ensure that you do not fill water in the marked area!

This appliance is suitable only for personal use. Do not apply a lot of pressure if the pump is stuck. Be careful when using hot water to avoid burns! Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not certified for use in the open air; only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the device to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibration as this might damage electronic components. Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instructions. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or alteration to the device not carried out by the original supplier, will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The product may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instructions. The device specifications may change without any separate prior notice to this effect.

8 Disposal instructions

Electrical and electronic devices may only be disposed of in accordance with the European WEEE Directive and not with household rubbish.
