To ensure that you can enjoy your newly purchased device for a long time, please read the following abbreviated instructions for use attentively. Before using the delivered product, check that it is complete, faultless and undamaged.

3. Installation
Please unplug your computer entirely from the power grid before starting the installation process. Avoid touching any of the sensitive components of your computer. When the device is put into operation for the first time, check the intactness of the product or components and their function again.

Pure electrical circuit lines without any symbolsOpen the housing of your computer. Remove the cover from the drive bay.
Insert the card reader into the 3.5" drive bay provided and then connect it to the PC housing, using suitable attachment screws.
Now look for a free USB 30 and USB 2.0 socket on the main board or on your controller expansion card. Usually such a socket will be labelled "USB XX". Please make use of your main board manual to help you. The next step is to connect the USB cable of the card reader to the free sockets.
The cable can only be connected in one direction. Please do not use force.
4. Driver installation
Driver installation takes place fully automatically. The card reader is ready for use within a few minutes after the system starts up. Please carry out a Windows update if the card reader is not detected/installed.

VPlease never try to perform repairs or conversions of your device yourself. Avoid contact with the power grid. The product is only voltage-free once it has been unplugged. Always ensure that you are grounded before you touch electronic components. This will prevent damage caused by electrostatic discharge from your body.
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can cause irreparable damage to your device and to all the connected hardware components!
Installation of the product takes place at your own risk.

Check the device for possible damage before using it. The device should not be used if it has been subjected to an impact or damaged in any other way.
Please also take the national regulations and restrictions into account.
Do not use the device for any purposes other than those described in these instructions.
This product is not a toy. Store it outside the reach of children or intellectually disabled persons.
Any repairs or changes to the device not carried out by the original supplier will result in the expiry of any warranty or guarantee claims.
The device specifications may change without any specific prior notice.

6. Instructions for disposal
Electrical and electronic devices may not be disposed of together with domestic waste, in accordance with the European WEEE directive. Their components must be separately sent for recycling or disposal, as toxic and hazardous components may do long-term damage to the environment in the event of improper disposal.
