3. Getting started

Take the device out of its packaging and remove any packaging material. Connect the SmartCard Reader to an available USB port on your computer or notebook. The driver installation is fully automatic. The device is then ready for operation.

To check whether the device is displayed in your device manager, go to the "Smartcard reader" tab. This device is displayed as "Microsoft Usbccid Smartcard Reader (WUDF)".
