Important safety guidelines for this appli- ance

• Use the appliance for private and intended purpose only. This appliance is not intended for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors and keep it away from heat and direct sunlight.
• Please do not keep the appliance near water sources such as bathtub, shower, washbasin or swimming pool.

• If the product becomes moist or wet, pull out the power plug immediately. Pay attention to your own safety and do not touch any conductive material on the appliance. Excluding containers intended for water, and their immediate surroundings in the housing

• Protect the product from sharp edges, or coarse sources of dust. It should never be immersed in water.

• Do not keep the appliance near heat sources (e.g., ovens or heating system).
• Keep it on an suitable surface so that it does not tip over.
• Unplug the power plug when the appliance is not in use, during transport or during cleaning.
• Never leave the appliance unattended and choose a location so that the appliance is out of the reach of pets or children
• Operate the appliance exclusively with the voltage specified on the type plate.

- This appliance can be used by children above the age of 8 years and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have been instructed by the person concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved.

- Children should not play with the appliance.

- For the safety of your children, keep packaging parts out of their reach (plastic bag, foils, carton or polystyrene).

- Do not allow small children to play with the foil or plastic bags! Danger of suffocation!

• Never insert your body parts (e.g., fingers) or objects through the protective cage
• Ensure that your hair is not within the range of the protective cage. It may get caught in the air current
• If the power cable of this appliance is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, his after-sales service personnel, or by an equally qualified person, so as to prevent any risk.
• Children may carry out cleaning and maintenance work only when supervised.

• The water tank should only be filled with fresh water, or ice cubes made of fresh water.

• Avoid using extension cables

• Do not allow water to remain in the tank for a long time.
• Never place anything on the appliance.
• Never drink the water from the appliance or the water tank.
• When using ice packs or ice cubes, condensation may form on the outside of the tank. Wipe it regularly to avoid the risk of slipping.
• Never cover the appliance during use.
• Make sure that the area around the humidifier does not become damp or wet. If dampness occurs, turn down the humidifier's output. If the humidifier's output cannot be reduced, use the humidifier intermittently.

Make sure that absorbent materials are not used. Such as carpets, curtains, drapes or tablecloths that become damp.

• Be aware that high humidity can promote the growth of biological organisms in the environment.
• Never leave water in the container when the appliance is not in use.
• Empty and clean the unit before storing it. Clean it before the next use.
• Caution. Microorganisms that may be present in the water or in the environment where the appliance is used or stored can grow in the water tank and be blown into the air, causing serious health risks if the water is not renewed and the tank is not properly cleaned every 3 days.

4. Key functions

Button Description
"OSC" button	Switches the oscillation on and off
"ON/OFF" button Switches the appliance on and off
"TIMER" button Activates the timer function (1-7 hrs)
"MODE" button Switches modes between "natural" and "night"
"Air cooling ON / OFF" button	Activates the air cooling (the water tank should not be removed in cooling mode.
"SPEED" button (+" / "-")	Adjusting the speed between the 3 available levels

5. Initial use

Take the appliance out of the package and check the appliance as well as the scope of delivery mentioned above. Please contact the supplier if any part is missing or has been damaged. Insert two AAA batteries into the remote control. Pay attention to the correct polarity of the contacts.

Connect the power cable to a properly installed socket and make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage indicated on the type plate.

6. Usage

Keep the appliance in an appropriate location and connect it to a properly installed power socket.

Caution! The cooling effect of the air cooler is only present in the immediate air stream of the appliance.

6.1 Adjusting the speed levels

You can choose between three different speed levels. Press the "SPEED" button (+/ "-" on the remote control) on the remote control or the control panel of the air cooler adjust to the speed of the fan.

6.2 Mode selection

You can choose between natural and night modes. You can change the mode using the "MODE" button. If you want to use the normal mode, press the button till both the mode indicator lights stop glowing.

Night mode

The fan speed is set at medium level and the speed decreases by one level after 15 minutes to reduce the power consumption.

Note: The fan speed cannot be adjusted manually when the appliance is in night mode.

Natural mode

The fan speed automatically changes between the available speeds and switches off in between to ensure natural airflow.

6.3 Timer function

The air cooler offers various timer levels that can be adjusted hourly up to a maximum time of 7 hours.

Switch-on timer

1. Make sure that the unit is connected to the mains and is in standby.
2. Press the timer button to select the desired time (one to seven hours).
3. The timer indicator lights flash while you are entering the time. After successful setting and / or inactivity of 10 seconds, the status LEDs stop flashing and your entry is accepted.
4. While the timer control lights are still flashing, select the desired additional functions such as air cooling or oscillation.
5. To deactivate the switch-on timer, press the main switch twice.

Switch-off timer

To do this, press the “Timer” key on the remote control or on the control panel of the fan. Press it repeatedly to increase the duration of the timer.

To switch off the timer function, press the "ON/OFF" key twice.

6.4 Cooling mode

Fill the cooling packs with water and place them in a freezer compartment. When the cold packs (3) are sufficiently cold, place them in the water tank to increase the cooling effect. The appliance runs in normal mode like a fan. If you also want to switch on the air cooling, press the "Air cooling ON/OFF button on the remote control or the control panel.Once the air cooling is switched on, the indicator light on the control panel starts glowing.

Attention! For maximum effect, we recommend staying in the area of the air flow.

Make sure that there is water in the water tank and that you do not remove the water tank during operation.

7. Filling the water tank

1. Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains.
2. Turn the water tank lock by 90^ in the clockwise direction and remove the water tank carefully.

1. Turn the water pump lock by 90^ in the clockwise direction and remove the water pump from its holder. Then remove the water tank completely.

1. Fill the water tank with fresh water upto the maximum mark. To increase the cooling, add ice cubes or ice packs to the water tank.

2. Slide the water tank back into position, and fix the water pump in its holder, and turn the water pump lock by 90^ in the counter-clockwise direction to keep the water pump firmly in position.

1. Then push the water tank back in and turn the water tank lock by 90^ in the counter-clockwise direction to keep the water tank firmly in position.

Note: If the water level is too low, you will hear three beeps and the air cooling indicator lamps flashes till the air cooling is switched off, or the water tank is refilled.

Make sure that you always empty the appliance completely when it is not being used.

8. Cleaning and Care

Caution! Pull out the power plug from the socket before starting the cleaning process!

Use a slightly moist cloth for cleaning (wetted with water). Never immerse the appliance in water for cleaning. This could lead to electric shock or fire!

8.1 Cleaning the filter

1. Clean the air filter of the appliance once every two weeks. The air filter is located inside the filter housing (6) / the filter flap.

2. Remove the filter housing carefully from the front of the appliance.

Note: The fan cannot be switched on without the filter housing!

1. Remove the filter and take the filter out of the filter housing.

1. Use a brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust or particles from the dry filter.

2. Then replace the air filter and the honeycomb filter into the filter housing and mount it at the back of the appliance.

8.2 Cleaning the water tank

1. The water tank has to be cleaned at the latest after 2 weeks to prevent any the formation of mould or bacteria.
2. Remove the water tank and clean it with a mild cleaning agent and warm water.
3. Then dry the water tank with a soft cloth.
4. Replace the water tank.

Caution! Do not use boiling water to clean the tank.

8.3 Storage

Empty the water tank completely if you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time and want to store it.

Allow the appliance to run in fan mode for four hours at low speed, so that the inside of the appliance dries completely.

Then store the appliance in a dry place.

9. Safety instructions and disclaimer

Never try to open the appliance to repair or make modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The appliance is not waterproof, therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures.

Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance for any damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it was subject to impact or has been damaged in some other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy.

Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repairs or modifications to the appliance not carried out by the original supplier will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The appliance should only be used by those who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the appliance may be changed without any special prior notification.

10. Disposal instructions

In line with the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic appliances should not be disposed of along with domestic waste. Their components have to be separately sent for recycling or disposal, because improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment. According to the electrical and electronic equipment act (ElektroG), you are obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) electrical and electronic appliances to the manufacturer, the point of sale or public collection points at the end of their service life. The relevant local laws regulate the details in this regard. The symbol displayed on the product, in the user manual or/and on the packaging refers to these regulations. With this manner of sorting, recycling and disposal of used appliances, you make an important contribution towards protecting our environment.

11. Instructions for battery disposal

In conjunction with the sale of batteries along with the supply of appliance that include batteries, the supplier is obliged to point out the following to the customer: The customer is legally obliged to return used batteries. He can return used batteries which the supplier offers or has offered as new batteries in his assortment free of charge to the supplier's dispatch warehouse (shipping address). The symbols shown on the batteries indicate the following: Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 percent lead by weight, Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 percent cadmium by weight, Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005 percent mercury by weight.

The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin means that the battery should not be disposed of in household waste.
