  • This device is suitable only for domestic use. Use the scales only to check your body weight!
  • Do not use the device on carpets or similar surfaces. Always use the scales on a flat and hard surface. This ensures consistent measurement.

3. Initial use

Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Before using the weighing scales, insert three AAA batteries into the battery compartment at the bottom of the scales. Pay attention to the correct polarity of the contacts. Place the product only on a firm, even and dry surface.

4. Usage and function

Tap the scales with your foot to turn on the device. The display shows "0.0". Then stand with your feet evenly apart on the scales and do not move. Your weight is shown on the display after a few seconds. Wait until the display stops flashing. Press the "Unit" button at the bottom of the device to change the displayed unit. You can choose between the following units:

The scales has an "Auto-OFF" function. It automatically switches off after about 10 seconds of inactivity.

5. Parameter settings for body fat

You can store up to 10 personal parameters on the scales. Make sure that you set the correct parameters to ensure accurate measurement.

The parameters have the following setting range:

  1. Press the "SET" button once briefly to turn on the scales. Press and hold the "SET" button on the scales for about 3 seconds.
  2. The profile number starts flashing. Select the desired profile number using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons and confirm with "SET".
  3. Select your gender using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons and confirm with "SET".
  4. Select your height using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons and confirm with "SET".
  5. Select your age using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons and confirm with "SET".

Note:

If you do not press any button for 6 seconds when setting the parameter, the configured value is automatically saved.

If the setting mode is cancelled when setting the parameter and the display shows the number "0", press the "SET" button for about 3 seconds to return to the setting mode.

Always remember your profile number!

6. Measuring body fat

An example of how to measure body fat using the scales is shown below.

Example:

Profile number 3, Female, 163 cm, 27 years old.

  1. Press the "SET" button to turn on the scales.
  2. Press the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to select the appropriate profile number.
  3. Press the scales once your profile number starts flashing.
  4. Then step on the scales. Make sure that both feet touch the electrode at the top of the scales.
  5. Wait until the weight display stops flashing and is "locked".
  6. The display shows "0000". This means that the additional readings are being taken. Remain standing on the scales!
  7. The readings are now displayed in the following order:

5. Replacing the batteries

Open the battery compartment at the back of the device. Remove the discharged battery from the battery compartment and dispose of it properly.

Then insert a new AAA battery into the battery compartment and pay attention to the correct polarity of the contacts. Remove the battery if you have not used the device for a long period.

Note: Do not use rechargeable batteries as far as possible since this may eventually lead to restrictions in the functioning of the device!

6. Warning display

"Err" display:

The "Err" display implies that the device is overloaded. Step off to avoid any damage to the product.

"Lo" display:

The "Lo" display signals that the battery level is too low. Replace the batteries as soon as possible.

"C" display:

When the "C" indicator appears on the display, the balance notices that recalibration is required and performs it. Please weigh yourself again after that.

7. Cleaning and Care

Follow the safety instructions when cleaning. Once the scales is switched off, you can clean the surface using a damp, soft cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents, solvents or scouring agents for cleaning. Use only a soft cloth to clean the scales.
