1 Safety instructions

Please read before first commissioning the safety instructions carefully and observe the safety instructions to prevent damage due to misuse, improper operation, and improper environmental conditions to be avoided. Keep these for later reference.

Check the device after removing the packaging for damage. Do not put the unit in case of suspected corruption in operation and consult a specialist. The recyclable packaging material must not be stored or disposed accessible for young children, but must be disposed of properly.

This appliance is only for the purpose for which it was explicitly developed. Any other use is regarded as improper and therefore dangerous. The supplier is not liable for damage to persons and / or property damage due to an improper or incorrect use.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Please make sure to place the device on a suitable and waterproof surfaces, so that spilled liquids can not cause harm.

Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by trained personnel only. Improperly performed repairs and alterations to the equipment can have dangerous consequences for the user according to what the warranty will be rejected.

• To avoid electric shock, fire or injury, please read the user manual carefully before using the appliance and keep it for future reference.
• This appliance is for household use only. Please use a suitable power source (220-240 V 50-60 Hz).
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Do not use the appliance in direct sunlight.
• Please turn off the appliance when not in use as it may otherwise be dangerous.
• Please turn off the appliance and unplug the socket when unattended as it may otherwise be dangerous.
• Keep the appliance away from children.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. • Children under the age of 3 should be kept away unless they are continuously supervised.
• Children aged between 3 and 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged between 3 and 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

- With any indication of damage or malfunction, please stop using the appliance immediately to avoid hazards. Take it to an authorized service centre for repair. Do not attempt to repair or change any parts yourself.

- If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.

- Please turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.

- Clean the surface of the appliance with a dry cloth. Do not use any corrosive detergent or solvent to clean. Do not splash water on the appliance.

- Please turn off and unplug the appliance when not in use. Make sure the power is off before pulling out the plug. Do not pull on the cord.

- When the appliance is not in use for a prolonged period, please turn it off, unplug it, pack it well and store it in a dry and cool place.

- It is forbidden to put flammable and explosive objects near the appliance. Do not use the appliance in an environment full of flammable gas or powder. Keep away from any fire and heat sources.

- Please put the power cord in the right place in order to avoid tripping over the appliance.

- Do not put any objects on the appliance and do not place the appliance directly under a socket outlet.

- Do not touch the air outlet when operating.

- Please keep the air inlet and the air outlet unblocked to minimize the risk of fire or malfunction.

- Do not let the power cord touch the air outlet or be near it. It will damage the insulation layer of the wires.

- Please operate the appliance on a firm and level desk or floor. Do not use the appliance in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

- Ensure no water or raindrop leaks into the appliance in order to avoid electric shock. Do not put flammable objects or wet clothes on the air outlet in order to avoid short circuit or fire.

- Please do not place the air inlet or the air outlet near curtains or walls when operating as it will block the air current and cause fire. The appliance should be installed at a minimum distance of 10 cm from the wall or other obstacles.

- Please do not insert any objects into the air inlet or the air outlet in order to avoid electric shock.

- After a period of operation, unusual noise and uneven air volume may appear because of dust blocking the airflow. It will disappear after cleaning the back net.

- In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the appliance with anything, especially flammable materials, such as clothes or paper.

- This appliance is not equipped with a device to control the room temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.

- In order to avoid hazards due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as timers, programmers, a separate remote control system or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

- Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

3 Operating instructions

• Press the Main Switch to the "I" position and the LCD display lights up, which means the heater is ready.
• Power: Press the Power button to choose LO/HI/AUTO/OFF/LO cyclic order.

LO-Mode: The heater works with low power

HI-Mode: The heater works with high power

AUTO-Mode: You can set the temperature from 5 – 32 °C. The temperature is preset to 24 °C. When the room temperature is lower than the set temperature, the heater works on HI power. When the room temperature is higher than set temperature, the heater works on LO power.

• OSC: Press it to activate the oscillation function. Press it again and the heater stops oscillation.
• Timer: When pressing it, the timer display flashes and you can press the "+" or "-" button to set the timer from 0.5/1/1.5 to 8 hours in 0.5-hour intervals. In LO and HI mode, you can set the timer with its information on the display. In AUTO mode, you can set the timer and 6 s after setting, the display returns to the set temperature. You can press TIMER to check the remaining hours.
• "+" Press this button to increase the temperature or the timer. It will increase automatically when it is pressed longer.
• “-” Press this button to decrease the temperature or the timer. It will decrease automatically when it is pressed longer.

Note:

• Please note that this heater has a safe tip-over switch. If the appliance is knocked over, the heater will stop working until it is placed in an upright position again.
• The remote control has the same functions as the control panel.

4 Cleaning and maintenance

Ensure that the device is switched off before cleaning or maintaining it.

• Before maintaining, please pull out the plug, and make sure the heater has become cool.
• Please use a soft cloth to wipe dust off the surface of the heater. If the surface is too dirty, it is better to wipe it with water which is colder than 50 °C and mixed with a neutral detergent.
• Do not use gasoline, thinner or any other liquids which can easily damage the surface.
• Please let the heater cool and dry before packing it. Place it in a dry and ventilated place.
