How do I install the Hama 176632 lamp?

No, the lamp is designed to be controlled exclusively via the Hama Smart Home app. Without the app, it cannot be turned on or adjusted.

Use a standard USB power adapter with 5 V DC output and sufficient current (at least 1 A). The adapter must be CE certified and suitable for a mains voltage of 230 V / 50 Hz.

Is the lamp compatible with conventional dimmers?

No, the lamp must not be used with a conventional dimmer, electrical switch, timer, or photocell. It only works with the app.

What should I do if the lamp stops responding?

Disconnect the lamp from power for a few seconds, then reconnect it. Make sure the app is up to date and your smartphone is connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. If the problem persists, reset the lamp (see full manual).

What is the wireless signal range?

The typical range is about 30 meters indoors without obstacles. Thick walls and interference can reduce this range.

Can I replace the LED bulb?

No, the LED light source is integrated and non-replaceable. At the end of the LED's life, the entire luminaire must be replaced.

Is the lamp safe for children?

The lamp must be kept out of reach of children. Do not allow children to play with the device. Do not look directly at the light source, risk of eye injury.

How to clean the lamp?

Unplug the lamp before cleaning. Use a soft dry cloth to dust. Never use chemicals, alcohol, or abrasive cleaners.
