How to empty the dust cup?
Press the dust cup release button and lift the cup. Remove the lid by pressing the release button on the back. Empty the dust cup into a trash bin, then replace the lid until it clicks.
How to clean the filters?
Remove the dust cup and take out the pre-motor filter. Open the outlet filter cover to access the HEPA filter. Rinse both filters with warm water, tap to remove dust, then air dry for 24 hours before reinstalling.
What to do if the vacuum suddenly stops?
This is likely the thermal cut-off. Turn off and unplug the appliance. Check that the dust cup is not full, the hose is not clogged, and the filters are clean. Correct these issues, then wait at least 30 minutes before plugging in and turning on again.
How to assemble the vacuum?

A switch on the floor nozzle allows you to toggle between two modes: position 1 (brushes extended) for hard floors, position 2 (brushes retracted) for carpets. Press with your foot to change.
How to rewind the cord?
Turn off the vacuum and unplug the cord from the outlet. Press the cord rewind button while guiding the cord with your other hand to prevent it from whipping.

You can reach the PHONE SUPPORT LINE at 1-888-365-2230 or email CanadaSupport@eureka.com. For more information, visit www.eureka.com/ca.
What is the warranty on this vacuum?
Eureka offers a 3-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship. It applies to the original purchaser in normal household use. Wear parts (filters, belts, etc.) are not covered.
How to prevent motor overheating?
To prevent thermal cut-off, regularly empty the dust cup, clean the filters, and check that the hose is not clogged. Do not use the vacuum without the dust cup and filters in place.
