These Safety Notes include important information about installation, use, and maintenance.

• ONLY connect this product to a grounded and protected circuit.
  • DISCONNECT from power before cleaning.
• Make sure the power cord is not crimped or damaged.
• Never disconnect this product from power by pulling on the cord.

• DO NOT allow flammable materials close to the product when it is operating.
DO NOT touch the product's housing when it is on because it will be hot.
- The voltage of the outlet to which you are connecting this product must be within the range stated on the decal or rear panel of the product.
- This product is for indoor use only! (IP20) To prevent risk of fire or shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture.
- Always mount this product in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 20 in (50 cm) from adjacent surfaces.
- Be sure that no ventilation slots on the unit's housing are blocked.
- Never connect this product to a dimmer or rheostat.
• The maximum ambient temperature is 104 °F (40 °C). Do not operate this product at higher temperatures.
- In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using immediately.
• DO NOT open this product. It contains no user-serviceable parts.
- To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of non-use completely disconnect the product from power via breaker or by unplugging it.

To Begin

Unpack your EZLink FSBT and make sure you have received all parts in good condition. If the box or contents appear damaged, notify the carrier immediately, not Chauvet.

AC Power

This product has an auto-ranging external power supply that can work with an input voltage range of 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.

To eliminate wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of non-use completely disconnect the product from power via breaker or by unplugging it.

Battery Power

The EZLink FSBT comes with a rechargeable lithium battery for cable free operation.

Charging the Battery

The battery charges whenever the EZLink FSBT is plugged into the external charger and the charger is plugged into a power source. If the product is plugged in and not in operation, make sure the product is turned off.

Battery Charge Notes

• Avoid depleting the battery below 10% .
  • For best results, charge the battery in a temperature between 32 °F (0 °C), and 95 °F (35 °C).
• When charging the battery, keep the product at least 1 m from any open flame or hot plate.
• If the battery is completely discharged, the device cannot be turned on immediately when the charger is connected. Allow a depleted battery to charge for a few minutes before turning on the device.
• While charging, the device may heat up. This is normal and should not affect the device's lifespan or performance. If the battery gets hotter than usual, the charger may stop charging.
• Do not charge the battery in a closed container.
• Do not charge the battery for more than 24 hours.

Bluetooth Control

The EZLink FSBT can be operated with the BTAir application over a Bluetooth connection. Pair the EZLink FSBT with the BTAir application. In playback mode, use the pedals to move from one playback to the other. For more information on using the BTAir app, download the BTAir User Manual from www.chauvetdj.com.
