SAFETY POINTS FOR YOUR FLASHLIGHT/ WORKLIGHT SAFETY RULES FOR CORDLESS PORTABLE HAND-HELD LIGHT CHARGE BATTERY BEFORE FIRST USE

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS! READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS! SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: Be sure to read and understand all instructions in this manual re using this portable hand-held light.

Failure to follow all instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious personal injury.

1. Know your cordless portable hand-held light. Read operator's manual carefully.

Learn its applications and limitations, as well as the specific potential hazards related to this light.

2. Use only recommended battery pack and charging stand / transformer.

Any attempt to use another battery pack will cause damage to the portable hand-held light and it could possibly explode, cause a fire, or personal injury.

3. Remove battery pack from portable handheld light before performing any routine maintenance or cleaning.

1. Do not disassemble the portable hand-held light.
2. Do not place portable hand-held light or battery pack near fire or heat. They may explode. Also, do not dispose of a worn out battery pack by incineration, even if it is severely damaged or completely worn out. The battery may explode in fire.
3. Do not operate portable hand-held light or charging stand/transformer near flammable liquids or in gaseous or explosive atmospheres. Internal sparks may ignite fumes.
4. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not put portable hand-held light in water

or other liquid. Do not place or store portable hand-held light where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.

1. Do not permit children to use portable hand-held light unsupervised. It is not a toy. The temperature of the bulb will become hot after being on only a short period of time. This hot temperature can cause burn injury if touched.
2. DO NOT USE OR PERMIT USE OF PORTABLE HAND-HELD LIGHT IN BED OR SLEEPING BAGS. This portable hand-held light lens can melt fabric and a burn injury could result.
3. Keep light dry, clean, and free from oil and grease. Always use a clean cloth when cleaning. Never use brake fluid, gasoline, petroleum-base products or any strong solvent to clean the portable hand-held light.

SAFETY WARNINGS FOR BATTERY PACK

a) Do not dismantle, open or shred cells or battery pack.
b) Do not short-circuit a battery pack. Do not store battery packs haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by conductive materials. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
c) Do not expose battery pack to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
d) Do not subject battery pack to mechanical shock.
e) In the event of battery leaking, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
f) Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or battery pack has been swallowed.
g) Keep battery pack clean and dry.
h) Wipe the battery pack terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.
i) Battery pack needs to be charged before use. Always refer to this instruction and use the correct charging procedure.
j) Do not maintain battery pack on charge when not in use.
k) After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the battery pack several times to obtain maximum performance.
I) Battery pack gives its best performance when it is operated at normal room temperature (20 °C ± 5 °C).
m) When disposing of battery packs, keep

battery packs of different electrochemical systems separate from each other.

n) Recharge only with the charger specified by WORX. Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
o) Do not use any battery pack which is not designed for use with the equipment.
p) Keep battery pack out of the reach of children.
q) Retain the original product literature for future reference.
r) Remove the battery from the equipment when not in use.
s) Dispose of properly.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Before using the tool, read the instruction book carefully.

OPERATION
Switch Button Functions
1st	Flashlight	Press the function switch button(5) for 3 seconds, the light is off.

FOUR FUNCTION MODE
1. FLASHLIGHT- Press function switch button(5) the first time, the LED light is on. This tool is in down position.WARNING! Do not direct the light beam into eyes.			See Fig. C
2. LANTERN-Pull light stick(3) partly out of the handle. This tool is in middle position.- Press function switch button(5) the second time, the light stick is on.NOTE: If the light of lantern is too bright, push part of the light stick back into the handle.WARNING! Return light stick into handle with caution so as not to pinch hand or fingers.			See Fig.D1,D2
3.1 DESK LAMP HI-Pull light stick (3) until the pivot joint(4) out of the handle. This tool is in top position.- Rotate the pivot joint to desired position.- Press function switch button(5) the third time, half side of light stick is on with high light.NOTE: Adjust the pivoting head to desired position according to the working need. The max angle of the pivoting head is±72°.			See Fig. E1,E2, E3
3.2 DESK LAMP LO- Press function switch button(5) the fourth time, half side of light stick is on with low light. This tool is still in top position.NOTE: Adjust the pivoting head to desired position according to the working need. The max angle of the pivoting head is±72°.			See Fig. E4
NOTE: After adjusted pivoting head to the desired angle, the light stick itself can still rotate. The fine-tuning angle of the light stick (3) is±45°.			See Fig. E5
WARNING! Adjust the pivoting head carefully so as not to pinch hand or fingers.
4. SOS- Back the pivot joint(4) into the handle, keep the light stick (3) on the outside. This tool is in middle position.- Press function switch button(5) the fifth time, the light stick is in SOS mode.WARNING! Return light stick into handle with caution so as not to pinch hand or fingers.			See Fig. F
TURN OFF THE LIGHT

Press the function switch button (5) for 3 seconds, the light is off. WARNING! Remember to turn off the light when the light stick is in the handle.	See Fig. G

MAINTENANCE

Your tool requires no additional lubrication or maintenance. There are no user serviceable parts in your tool. Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your tool. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Always store your tool in a dry place.
