Frequently Asked Questions - MMC1005RW GORENJE

How to use the meat grinder?
Cut the meat into strips 10 cm x 2 cm, remove bones and tendons. Place the meat in the hopper, use the plunger to push. Make sure the grid is properly inserted (notch into protrusion). Never grind frozen meat.
Can I wash the motor block with water?
No, never immerse the motor block in water or under running water. Clean it with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
Why does my food processor stop during use?
This may be due to overload. The appliance has thermal protection. Let it cool for 30 minutes before reusing. Check that you do not exceed the maximum quantities (e.g. 450 g of flour for kneading).
What is the maximum amount of dough I can knead?
The bowl can hold up to 1 kg of dough. For bread dough, use max 450 g of flour (see table). Do not exceed 5 minutes of continuous operation.
How to install the beater or hook?
Press the release button of the multifunction head, lift it. Attach the bowl, place the lid, insert the accessory by turning the rod to adjust the height. Lower the head until it clicks.
Can I use the appliance without the lid?
Yes, you can add ingredients through the lid opening, but it is recommended to keep it in place to avoid splashes.
How to make sausages with this appliance?
First grind the meat. Soak the casing in warm water for 10 minutes, slide it onto the sausage nozzle without blocking the grooves. Push the minced meat into the hopper and start the appliance.
What to do if the multifunction head does not lock?
Make sure the bowl is properly attached and the accessory is well inserted. Lower the head until you hear a 'click'. If the problem persists, check that nothing is blocking the mechanism.
Is the glass jar used for blending?
The glass jar is intended for the citrus press. It is not designed for blending solid foods. Use the beaters or grinder for other preparations.
How to clean the grinding plates?
Disassemble the grinder completely after use. Wash the parts (plates, blade, nozzle) in soapy water carefully as the blades are sharp. Dry thoroughly before storing.
