Important safety guidelines for this device

- For the safety of your children, keep packaging parts out of their reach (plastic bag, foils, carton or polystyrene).
- Do not allow small children to play with the foil or plastic bags! Danger of suffocation!
- While operating the device, ensure that the protective cage is closed.
- The fan, rotary knob and switches should not be blocked.
- It is not allowed to remove the cage for cleaning purposes once the fan is mounted.
- Never insert your body parts (e.g., fingers) or objects through the protective cage.
- Ensure that your hair is not within the range of the protective cage. It may get caught in the air current.
- If the power cable of this device is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, his after-sales service personnel, or by an equally qualified person, so as to prevent any risk.
- Children may carry out cleaning and maintenance work only when supervised.

3. Functions
The Brandon tower fan has a powerful motor which ensures optimum ventilation even on hot days. Thanks to the three speed levels, four different ventilation modes and oscillation function, you can adapt the fan to your individual requirements.
4. Assembly
Take the fan out of the package and check the device as well as the specified scope of delivery. Please contact the supplier if any part is missing or has been damaged.
First assemble the pedestal. Make sure that you route the cable through the cable-entry and place it in the cable guide.

Then fix the pedestal to the fan using the mounting screws.
5. Usage
Keep the fan in an appropriate location and connect the device to a properly installed power socket.
Remove the safety strip from the battery compartment of the remote control. Press the "OSC" button on the remote control or on the fan to enable the oscillation.
Press the "POWER" button on the remote control or on the fan, to switch the fan on.
Press the "SPEED" button on the remote control to adjust the speed of the fan.

For this purpose, press the "Timer" button on the remote control or the operating panel of the fan. To increase the duration of the timer, press the button again. Press the "Mode" button to set the fan mode.
You can here choose between three different modes.

![]() Child | Depending on the adjusted speed (in this example level 3 - maximum level), the fan operates for 30 minutes at high speed, changes to medium speed for 30 minutes and finally switches over to low speed, until the fan stops turning by itself. Optionally, the oscillation can be switched on and off.Is used as ventilation function in children's rooms. When this function is selected, the fan is automatically set to a timer of 3 hours. The oscillation and the maximum speed level of 3 is additionally enabled for this timer. The oscillation can be switched off using the "Oscillation" button. The speed is maintained for 15 minutes, then changes to level 2 for another 15 minutes, and then to level 1 until the fan switches off by itself once the timer reaches zero. |
6. Tilting function
You can tilt the fan by 10% by pushing the device back with a little force until it clicks into place (see figure).

Caution! Pull out the power plug from the socket before starting the cleaning process!
Use a slightly moist cloth for cleaning (wetted with water). For cleaning, never immerse the device into water! This could lead to electric shock or fire!
8. Safety instructions and disclaimer
Never try to open the device to repair or make modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The appliance is not waterproof, therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow.
Do not expose the device to high temperatures. Do not expose the device to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the device for any damage before using it. The device should not be used if it was subject to impact or has been damaged in some other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy.
Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repair or modifications to the appliance, which is not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The device should be used only by persons who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the device may be changed without prior notification.
9. Disposal instructions
In line with the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic devices should not be disposed of along with domestic waste. Their components have to be separately sent for recycling or disposal, because improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment. According to the electrical and electronic equipment act (ElektroG), you are obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) all electrical and electronic devices to the manufacturer, the point of sale, or public collection points at the end of their service life.
