Remote control:

  1. Off Button

Turn the DAC II OFF

And CD II & Tuner II

  1. Mute Turn OFF sound
  2. Volume + Increase Volume
  3. Arrow L/R

Change Station on Tuner II or track on CD II

  1. Volume - Decrease Volume
  2. Bluetooth Select BT Input
  3. COAX Select COAX Input
  4. USB Select USB Input
  5. Optical 1 Select Optical 1 Input
  6. Optical 2 Select Optical 2 Input
  7. Previous

Go to previous track in BT/CD mode

  1. Play/Pause
    Play or Pause in BT mode
  2. Next Go to Next track in BT/CD mode

  6. Turn ON Tangent TUNER II

TANGENT DAC II - Remote control: - 1

Connect:

  1. Connect the power cord to the back of the DAC II then connect it to a wall outlet.
  2. Connect your devices to the desired input.
  3. Turn the power button to the On position, after a few seconds the unit will enter working status and the input indicator will lit up.
  4. Press the Bluetooth, OPT 1/2, COAX or USB button on the remote or the volume knob to choose the desired audio source.

Bluetooth Pairing:

  1. Press the Bluetooth on the remote (or push the selector button) to activate the Bluetooth source.
  2. Activate Bluetooth on your phone/tablet and start searching for new Bluetooth devices.
  3. When your phone/tablet finds the Tangent DAC II, choose this unit and begin pairing up.
  4. For activating pairing: First time it will activate automatically. after that you can pust the BT pair button and then BT pairing is active.

Connect your power amplifier to Left and Right RCA or XLR Output.

Use the Optical input by connecting a device using a optical fiber cable to the Optical Input 1 or 2.

Use the COAX input by connecting a CD transport or other unit to using a coax cable to the Optical Input 1 or 2.

Use the USB input by connecting a Computer to play music using a USB cable to the USB input.

Note:

Remember to change into the desired input source on the DAC II.

Standby Mode:

Standby ON: Only BT input can wake on signal
Standby OFF: All inputs can wake on signal

Note: Power consumption is higher in OFF mode.

OFF mode: 1.1Watt

ON mode: Below 0.5Watt

Indicator Function

Power/Standby indicator

Power: Power on-The product in power off status, then push the power source button on rear panel at "ON" position the LED indicator blinks one time and the startup sound from electric relay in the unit, after about 2 seconds the amplifier will be in working status. Note that the unit will remember the settings from before it was powered off.

Power off:

Push the power source button at "OFF" position, and unit will go into power off status.

Standby:

Press the OFF button on the remote control, or push the Volume/selector button, then the unit will go into standby, and the standby LED will be red color. The unit is in standby status.

(When the DAC II goes into auto standby when inactive in 15min, you can wake it up via audio signal again)

Power on (from standby mode): Press the desired input on the remote control or push (long press) the Volume/ selector button. And after about 2 seconds the amplifier will be in last time working status before standby.

Bluetooth input indicator

Press BT to select Bluetooth as your audio source.

Optical input indicator

Press Optical 1 or 2 to select input method as optical audio source.

COAX input indicator

Press COAX to select COAX input.

USB input indicator

Press USB to select USB input.

Volume and input switch button

This selector can adjust volume (turn left or right) and also switch the input mode (push)

  9. Do not attempt to carry out any service work yourself. By opening or removing the cabinet, you may be exposed to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Any service work should be carried out by qualified technicians.
  10. In the interests of safety and to avoid unnecessary energy consumption, never leave the unit switched on while unattended for long periods of time, e.g. overnight, while on holiday or while out of the house. Switch it off and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
  11. Clean only with dry cloth
  12. Please pay attention to the environmental aspects of battery disposal. Battery must be recycled or disposed of properly. This product must not be disposed together with the domestic waste. This product has to be disposed at an authorized place for recycling of electrical and electronic appliances.
