How to adjust the refrigerator temperature?

Press the temperature adjustment button several times until the desired temperature (from 2 °C to 8 °C) is displayed. The recommended temperature is 4 °C.

When to use the Super function?

Activate the Super function 4 to 6 hours before storing a quantity of food of at least 2 kg for rapid freezing. It automatically deactivates after about 24 hours.

How to defrost the freezer compartment?

Activate the Super function 4 hours before, remove the food, turn off the appliance and unplug it. Place a pot of hot water inside to speed up defrosting, then wipe away the water with a soft cloth.

What to do in case of a power outage?

Open the appliance as little as possible. After the outage, check the quality of the food. Discard any that exceed 5 °C and cook those that are slightly thawed before refreezing.

How to clean the appliance?

Turn off and unplug the appliance. Remove food and removable parts. Clean with a soft cloth, warm water, and neutral dish soap. Do not use a steam cleaner or abrasive products.

Why does water accumulate at the bottom of the refrigerator?

The drainage channel or defrost hole is blocked. Gently clean them with a cotton swab to allow the condensation water to drain.

How to change the door gasket?

Remove the old gasket from its groove. Warm the new gasket to soften it, then insert it gradually into the groove starting from the corners.

The LED light no longer works, what to do?

The LED light must be replaced by the after-sales service or an authorized professional. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.

Which foods should not be frozen?

Lettuce, radishes, eggs in shell, grapes, raw apples and pears, yogurt, sour cream, fresh cream, and mayonnaise are not suitable for freezing.

How to perform the appliance self-test?

Unplug the appliance for 5 minutes, then plug it back in. Within 10 seconds, press and hold the temperature adjustment button for 5 to 7 seconds until you hear a second beep. The self-test starts. Two beeps and a flashing 'Super' indicate correct operation.

2.1.1 All domestic appliances

Risk of electric shock due to live parts!

• Errors by repairs involving electrical components can lead to electrical shock! ■ Disconnect the appliance from the mains for at least 60 seconds before starting work. ■ After the repair have a safety test according VDE 0701 or country-specific regulations performed.

Risk of injury from sharp edges!

■ Wear protective gloves.

Risk of crushing during repair, maintenance, troubleshooting and service due to heavy and moving components

■ Wear protective shoes. ■ Secure heavy components from falling down. ■ Do not stick body parts into moving components.

Risk to the appliance's safety / function! ■ Only use original spare parts. Risk of damage to electrostatically sensitive components (ESDs)! - Do not touch the modules, including connections and conductor paths.

1. Release the door gasket from the groove on the right and left corners.

1. Pull the door gasket out of the groove.

The door gasket is removed.

The thickness of the new door gasket may deviate slightly from that of the old one. This will not affect closing behavior or long-term function. If your appliance has adjustable hinges or hinge attachments, you can optimize the closing behavior subsequently. Small side holes in the door gasket are functional (required for ventilation). These are not production faults.

1. Check the groove for the gasket for damage.

1. If the groove for the gasket is damaged.
2. Contact customer service.
3. Note: Slight deformation of the door gasket is normal and does not affect its function. It is recommended to straighten the door gasket before inserting it into the appliance.

Heat the door gasket with a hair dryer or hot water and manually reshape it.

1. Push the corners of the gasket at the top and bottom into the groove.

1. Remove two hinge covers.

5. Remove lower hinge (5).
