How to use the defrost function?

Press the Defrost button, the indicator lights up. Set the desired browning level, then lower the high-lift lever. The toaster automatically adjusts the toasting time.

How to use the reheat function?

Press the Reheat button, the indicator lights up. Lower the high-lift lever. The reheating process is fixed and stops automatically.

What to do if the toaster emits smoke?

Immediately press the Cancel button to stop operation. Check that the crumb tray is empty and that the bread is not too close to the heating elements.

How to clean the toaster?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool. Wipe the exterior with a soft dry cloth. Remove the crumb tray at the bottom and empty it regularly. Never use a metal brush.

Can I toast frozen bread?

Yes, use the Defrost function to toast frozen bread to the desired color. The toasting time is adjusted automatically.

Can I toast irregular bread or brioches?

Yes, use the foldable toast rack located on top. Pull it outward and place the bread on it. Toast only one piece at a time on the rack.

What to do if bread gets stuck in the slot?

First unplug the appliance. Use a wooden or plastic tong to carefully remove the bread. Never use metal utensils to avoid damaging the heating elements.

Why is there an odor during first use?

This is normal: it is due to manufacturing residues or oil on the heating elements. Run the toaster empty once, then let it cool before first use.

How to adjust the browning for perfect color?

Turn the electronic browning control knob from 1 (light) to 7 (dark). For a golden color, use the middle position (3-4). The color of a single slice will be darker than for two slices at the same setting.

Can I use the toaster without the crumb tray?

No, the crumb tray is essential for safety. It must be correctly positioned before each use to avoid any fire risk.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

USING YOUR TOASTER

1. Insert regular bread slice into the bread slot, which can be inserted with two slices at most each time. If only toasting one side or irregular bread, The bread must be put on the toast rack, only toast one piece every time. The toast rack is foldable, when toasting on the toast rack, pull the rack outward and put it on the toaster. Then put the bread on working-area of the toast rack

NOTE: 1). Make sure the crumb tray is completely positioned in place before using.

2). Before toasting on the toast rack, let the appliance cool down.

3). When not uses the toast rack; fold up the rack and deposit

1. Plug the power cord into the outlet.

2. Set color control knob to your desired color. There is 7-position level, the lowest “1” is for light and the highest “7” is for dark. The bread slice can be toasted to golden color at the middle position.

NOTE: Toasting color for one slice is darker than that for two bread slices at the same level.

1. press carriage handle down vertically until it is latched in place, the indicator of Cancel will be illuminated, and the appliance will begin toasting at once.

NOTE: The carriage handle can only be latched when the appliance is plugged in.

1. Once the read has been toasted to the preset color, the carriage handle will automatically pop up. Also you can uplift the carriage handle a little to remove the bread readily.

NOTE: During toasting, you may also observe the toasting color. If it is satisfactory, you can press the Cancel button to cancel the operation at any time, but never lift carriage handle to cancel toasting.

1. If you want to toast frozen bread, firstly press Defrost button and the indicator of Defrost button will be illuminated, set color control knob to your desired color, and then lower carriage handle down vertically until it is latched in place. In this mode bread will be toasted to your desired color..

2. If you want to warm cold toasted bread, firstly press the Reheat button and the indicator of Reheat button will be illuminated, then lower carriage handle vertically

until it is latched in place. In this mode toasting time is fixed, so long as time runs over, the carriage handle will automatically spring up and end up the reheating process.

CAUTION

1. Remove all protective wrappings prior to toasting.
2. If toaster starts to smoke, Press Cancel to stop toasting immediately.
3. Avoid toasting the food with extremely runny ingredients such as butter.
4. Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the slots without unplugging the toaster from the electrical outlet first. Be sure not to damage the internal mechanism or heating elements when removing bread.
5. Pull out crumb tray at the bottom of toaster and empty the accumulated bread. Make sure the crumb tray is completely closed before using the toaster again.
6. The bread slot is only applicable for toasting regular bread slice. Like the irregular bread or round bread, you can toast it on the toast rack.
7. In order to achieve uniform color we recommend that you should wait minimum 30s between each toasting so that color control can reset automatically.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Before cleaning, unplug from the appliance and let the appliance cool down completely.
2. Wipe the outside with soft dry cloth, never use metal polish.
3. Pull out crumb tray at the bottom of toaster and empty it. If toaster is used frequently, accumulated bread crumbs should be removed at least once a week. Make sure the crumb tray is completely closed before using the toaster again.
4. When not use or storage, the power cord may be wound under the bottom of toaster.
