Frequently Asked Questions - AES3.2 ANSMANN

How to connect the AES3.2 to a mains socket?
Plug the AES3.2 into an appropriate mains socket (230 V AC / 50 Hz). Then plug your devices (PC, etc.) into the AES3.2 socket. You can use a power strip, but make sure not to exceed the maximum power of 2500 W / 10 A.
What to do if the device does not turn on after pressing the red button?
Check that the mains socket is powered. If the problem persists, the device may be faulty. Contact an authorized dealer. Do not attempt to open the device.
What is the maximum power supported by the AES3.2?
The maximum power supported is 2500 Watts (10 A). Never exceed this value to avoid any risk of fire or short circuit.
Can I connect a power strip to the AES3.2?
Yes, you can connect a power strip to the AES3.2, provided that the total power of the connected devices does not exceed 2500 W / 10 A.
How to memorize standby devices with the AES3.2?
After activating the AES3.2 (red button for 3 seconds), make sure all devices are in standby mode. Then press the green "learn standby" button for 3 seconds. The device will memorize the standby characteristics and disconnect automatically after one minute.
What does a fast flashing of the red button (about 2 times per second) mean?
This indicates that the AES3.2 is in learning phase (memorizing the standby mode of connected devices). Wait for the operation to complete.
What does a slow flashing of the red button (about 1 time per second) mean?
This indicates that the AES3.2 is in disconnected mode: the devices are disconnected from the mains and no energy consumption occurs (0 Watt).
How to reset the AES3.2 or start a new memorization?
To start again, press the red button again for 3 seconds to restore power, then repeat the learning procedure with the green "learn standby" button.
Does the AES3.2 consume energy when in standby mode?
No, once the devices are disconnected, the AES3.2 consumes no energy (0 Watt). This is the Zero Watt technology.
Is the AES3.2 compatible with all electronic devices?
It is designed for PCs and other devices up to 2500 W. It works with most devices that have a standby mode. For devices without standby, usage may not be optimal.
