- A wide range of soups can be cooked with your soup maker, including vegan, vegetarian and an array of ethnic dishes.
- The ingredients retain more nutrients, vitamins and minerals, providing you with a tasty result.
- It saves energy as cooking is done in a single container on one heat source.
- It saves time when cooking as you do not need to constantly keep watch of your soup. You simply choose your mode and allow the soup maker to cook for you from start to nish.

- Check that the voltage of your main circuit corresponds with the rating of the appliance before operating.

- Remember to switch the wall socket off before unplugging the device. This must be done before any parts/attachments are removed or when cleaning is required.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

- When in use, the surfaces of the appliance will become very hot, therefore the handle must always be used.

- When the appliance is used for reheating soup, always ensure soup is piping hot before serving.

- Caution: The blades inside this jug are very sharp, extreme caution must be taken during cleaning.

- Do not immerse cords, plugs or any part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Using Your Appliance This Soup Maker can serve up to 4 people and is ideal for both smooth and chunky soup. The auto functions allow you to stand back as healthy nutritious meals are made for you in as little as 25 minutes and the preferential blending functionality means your soup can be perfected to how you like it.
1. Begin by washing your vegetables, and peeling away any with hard skin (i.e.
Chop your ingredients into pieces no larger than 2.5cm.
3. Remove the lid of your Soup Maker and add all of the ingredients into the
serving jug. Top up the ingredients with cold water, ensuring you do not exceed the max fill line indicated on the glass jug
4. To reach the minimum soup fill line, you will need 250g of chopped ve -
etables and 17 oz liquid. To reach the maximum amount of soup, add 400g chopped vegetables and 41 oz of liquid.
5. Note: You can use the pulse button at the end of cooking to ensure your
soup is made to your desired consistency.
6. Once all of your ingredients have been added to the Soup Maker, place the
lid back on the serving jug, making sure it is securely in place.
7. Plug the Soup Maker into the outlet. When the Soup Maker is plugged in,
a beep will sound. Select the Start/Stop button, the lights on the control panel will now begin to flash10
8. Choose your desired function. The Soup Maker will work automatically.
When the soup has cooked, a series of beeps will be made.
9. Unplug the Soup Maker and remove the lid, being careful to avoid any
steam that it may omit. Using the handle, pour the soup into bowls to serve. Program Functions There are three pre-set program buttons - chunky soup, smooth soup, boil & pulse. Pulse is a manual function, with many uses ranging from creating smoothies to blending your soup to the perfect consistency. Chunky Soup Function The Chunky Soup function gives you wholesome thick soups in under 23 minutes.
1. Pre-wash any vegetables required for the recipe. Fill the serving jug
according to your recipe, ensuring it does not exceed the maximum fill level
2. Plug your Soup Maker in and press the start button. Select the Chunky
Soup function and the Soup Maker will begin to heat your ingredients to a temperature of 98˚C.
3. Once the temperature has been reached (after approximately 10 minutes at
full capacity), the soup maker will pulse once. It will continue cooking the soup and pulsing for another 5 minutes.
4. Just before the soup is finished, the Soup Maker will pulse the soup 2-3
times in quick succession. A series of beeps will sound once your soup is ready. Smooth Soup Function The Smooth Soup function creates smooth tasty soups in under 25 minutes.

are peeled and all fruit is cored and cut into small pieces.

with a beeping noise.11 Boil Function The Boil function allows you to boil water or heat up soup. Simply fill the serving jug above the minimum water level line and press boil. Pulse Function The Pulse function allows you to pulse your food in quick short bursts or for as long as you need. This will ensure your soup is blended to the perfect consistency for you. The function also works to create cold soups like gazpacho. Cleaning the jug Add warm water with a small amount of washing up liquid into the jug. Ensure you do not exceed the maximum fill line. Hold down the pulse function to clean. Note: Do not use an excess amount of washing up liquid. Safety Shut Off For security reasons, simply lifting the lid at any point will stop the blending automatically. Caution: We recommend that you press Start/Stop button before lifting the lid. Trouble Shooting & FAQ’s Can I use uncooked meat in the soup maker? No. You need to first cook the meat separately before using it in the soup maker with the rest of your ingredients. Meats such as lamb will need browning before adding to the ingredients. What is the capacity of the soup maker? The Soup Maker has a capacity of 1.6 litres. Always ensure that the ingredients and liquids do not exceed the maximum fill line indicated on the glass jug. Can I change the times on the settings of the chunky and smooth functions? No, the time setting for the chunky and smooth soup functions is pre-set and will be correct for most soups. If the end result is not to your preferred consistency, you have the option to use the heat and pulse function to acquire better results depending on your recipe.12 Can I make cold soups in the soup maker? Yes, you can make cold soups and gazpacho in the Soup Maker using the pulse function. For some recipes, you may need to first cook the soup using either the chunky or smooth settings and then allow it to cool. Why is my soup maker overflowing The water may be filled above the maximum fill line. Ensure that you do no exceed the maximum fill line before choosing a mode Cleaning & Care This appliance is NOT dishwasher safe. Do not immerse the soup maker in water or any liquids.

2. Rinse the lid in warm, soapy water.
3. To clean the inside of the jug, rinse to remove any soup or large food
particles. Remove any ingredient remnants using a soft cloth and mild detergent before rinsing again. Caution: The blades in the jug are very sharp, extreme caution must be taken when cleaning the inside of the jug. IMPORTANT!
