How to use the Airpot for the first time?

Before first use, follow the instructions in the Maintenance and cleaning section. Wash the pump, lid, and lining with warm soapy water, rinse and dry.

How to brew directly into the lining?

Preheat the lining with hot water (steps 1 and 2). Open the lid, remove the pump and place the lining under the coffee maker's filter basket. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for brewing. Once finished, replace the pump and close the lid.

Can I use the Airpot for cold beverages?

Yes. Follow the same procedure as for hot beverages but replace hot water with cold water.

How to clean the pump and lid?

Remove the pump by turning the tabs to OPEN and pull it out. Remove the lid by pressing the hinge and pulling upward. Wash both parts with warm soapy water, rinse and air dry.

The lid does not close properly, what to do?

Make sure the hinge is properly inserted into its support. Lower the lid until it clicks into place. If that doesn't work, remove and replace the lid.

What is the capacity of the Airpot 40410?

How to Use

1. Lift up the lid release and move the lid back until it rests in place. Using pump tabs, turn counterclockwise towards OPEN. Remove pump.
2. Fill thermal pot liner with hot water. Replace pump back into the pot liner, hold tabs, and turn clockwise towards CLOSE. Lower lid until it clicks into place.
3. After coffee has brewed, remove hot water and add coffee.
4. Slide dispensing lock to ON, place a coffee cup under the dispensing spout, and press dispensing button several times to fill your cup.

NOTE: For cold drinks, repeat the same process, replacing cold water for hot water.

How to Brew Directly Into Thermal Pot Liner

1. Preheat thermal pot liner with hot water as directed under "How to Use" on page 4, steps 1 and 2.

2. Open lid and remove pump.

3. Position the thermal pot liner directly under the coffee maker's brew basket. Follow manufacturer's instructions for brewing coffee.

4. When brewing is complete, carefully remove from under brew basket. Replace pump and close with tabs. Lower lid until it clicks into place. Move ON/OFF dispensing lock to OFF. Use the handle to move to next location.

Removing the Lid

1. Lift up on lid release and move lid back until it rests in place.

2. Press on the lines on lid hinge with one hand and pull lid straight up with your other hand to remove.

Replacing the Lid

1. Insert lid hinge into the hinge holder.
2. Push straight down until you hear the lid click. Move lid down to close.

Care and Cleaning

1. Remove pump and lid as instructed on pages 4 and 5.
2. Wash lid and removable pump in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
3. Add hot, soapy water to the thermal pot liner. Pour out; then rinse with water and air-dry.

LIMITED WARRANTY

This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and Canada. This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition.

This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with returning the product to us and our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value.

This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser or gift recipient. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim. This warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the rating label (e.g., 120 V \~ 60 Hz).
